8 Drink and retirement!

Thirty minutes later, Kidou woke up and he held his head.

"Ugh! Again," He muttered as he used chakra to soothe the pain in his head and he heard a voice making him stunned.

"Did you make these?"

His expression changed as he looked to the side and saw Tsunade sitting on his bed while holding his notebook and the candy he made.

"When did you come here?"

"When you were sleeping on the floor,"

"Ugh," Kidou said as he heard her words and he muttered, "That's the problem here, you are at someone's house,"

"Hmm? I knocked and called you but you didn't reply, and when I sensed people in the house, I noticed one so I had no choice but to come inside."

"Still, you should stop drinking alcohol, you have zero tolerance for it! What if there was an enemy ninja in the village and you were the target? It would be a piece of cake to take care of you after making you drunk."

"Just like you did,"

"Huh? What did I do?"

"It's nothing," Kidou said and Tsunade inwardly sighed in relief as she heard this. She then ate the candy and said, "Did you make these?"

"Yeah, How are they?"

"Good, but too light! I would prefer to eat the ones made with liquid in the bottle," Tsunade said and Kidou looked at her with a stunned expression on his face and muttered, "Monster?"

"Huh? Monster?"

"Yeah, you are a monster in drinking, I feel that candies are already hard but you said that they are too light."

"Hey! I am not a monster, your tolerance is bad. But why did you make them?"

"Hmm? I am planning to open a shop and sell them."

"Opening a shop? Do you lack money? Just tell me how much you need and I will help you," Tsunade said and saw Kidou looking at her with disbelief on his face.

"You? Money? Did you forget the money you use in gambling? Everyone knows about this, and I heard you are in debt! So, how would you give money?"

Tsunade's expression changed as she heard her gambling debt and she said, "This is this and that is that! If you need money, just tell me."

"Nope, instead of money, do you have any shop in the market? I will take it and pay you in instalment if you will sell it or I can just pay monthly rent."

"Why are you planning on opening a shop?"

"Haha! I plan to retire as a ninja," Kidou said with a depreciating laugh and Tsunade frowned as she heard this.

"Retire? Why?"

"Don't know, but I think it will be good to retire before war arrives."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Tsunade asked as she heard this and Kidou flinched.

"What I mean to say is that I don't want to be a ninja and fight outside,"

"Yeah, I know! Isn't that the reason why you wanted to work in hospital? So, where did this retirement thing come from? Did you forget what you said before? You said you planned on saving others as Medical Ninja, and if you will retire, how will you save them?"

"I didn't need to save them,"

"Huh?"

"It won't be instantaneous! I will help you in the research and when the plan is implemented, I will retire and you can save others in place of me." Kidou said with a smile on his face and her expression changed as she heard this.

She didn't say anything as she could see that he had made his decision and looking at him, she said, "Before you retire, I will work you to the bone and squeeze you and your abilities dry,"

"Huh?"

"Hehe! This is good, I will provide you with a shop from the Senju clan and the day you retire, I will gift you the shop and return the money you have paid as rent."

"Eh??"

"But before that, you will work to the bone and do everything you can do to save others," Tsunade with a smile on her face and Kidou felt chills as he saw her smile. He had a feeling that he had done something wrong and now he would have to pay for it.

"I read the book you have written, and here, here and here! You have written wrong things."

"Wrong things?" Kidou said as he looked at the pages and then reading this, he asked, "What wrong thing I have written? They are just imaginary ideas and until they are proven, they aren't wrong."

"No, they are! I will show you later as I have proof for them. For now, Let's talk about this part! What do you mean by stem cells and how are you sure about DNA?"

Kidou's expression changed as he heard this and said, "Let's not talk about this, only when I have proof, I will talk about it! They are just ideas and skip them for now. For now, talk about what I have written about techniques."

"As I have low chakra, I can't just practice everything and I want you to try them and see if they work,"

"Hmm," Tsunade said and then she thought of something and said, "Do you want scrolls about Fuinjutsu?"

"Huh?"

"You muttered in the tavern that you wanted to work on physique and you need Seals for that, but you have no way to learn. Also, you can learn Yin Seal and start storing chakra in it and later it will benefit you."

"But why would you give this to me for free?"

"Huh? Free? Who said that? Since you are planning on retiring, you won't need the techniques you made using seals, right?"

"Don't tell me..." Kidou said and Tsunade nodded with a grin.

"Yeah, I will also have 'ownership' of the techniques you will be making using everything I will provide to you. What do you think of this?"

Kidou looked at the grin on her face and he started to think of the idea.

'Well, the idea is not bad as I really won't have use of them. So, I don't think there is any problem in accepting the deal, right?'

"Hmm, Sure!" Kidou said and Tsunade nodded with a grin on her face.
