10 "Parent's" Approval

Reading the book, Orochimaru nodded and said, "The ideas are good and I am going to try them. What about you, Jiraiya? What do you think?"

"Eh? I don't like these books! I would rather learn by seeing and practising than reading and trying to understand."

"Then you can give them to me," Orochimaru said and before Jiraiya could reply, he snatched the books and stored them in his seal.

"Hey! They are mine,"

"They were," Orochimaru said and then he ignored him and started to read the other books that Tsunade took out.

"Kidou Kun, Why did you start this so late?" Orochimaru asked as he looked at Kidou, who shrugged in response and said, "I don't know, must have been something or maybe I awakened some kind of Kekkai Genkai."

"Hmm? It should be possible," Orochimaru said as he heard these words, and Tsunade also nodded but she knew that he was just lying.

Soon, they dispersed with Orochimaru taking Jiraiya away to use him as Training Dummny and Tsunade walked with Kidou.

"You remember what I said before?"

Kidou deadpan at her and said, "You have said many things, what are you talking about?"

"About Knowledge related to sealing,"

"Hmm."

"I asked Grandma about it and she said she wants to meet you before giving you these things," Tsunade said and Kidou stopped as he heard this.

"Let's skip it," He immediately said and backed away, but Tsunade put her hand on his shoulder and said, "She asked me to invite you and if I went alone, I would be in trouble. So, let's go and suffer together."

"No, It's your fault, why are you taking me?" Kidou said as he tried to move but Tsunade strengthened her grip and said, "You are my assistant and you will be coming with me,"

"No, I quit!"

"But why?"

"But why you ask? Do you know who we are even talking about? I can walk in front of Hokage but Mito Sama, Nope! I am scared of the name!"

"Huh? Why?"

"We are talking about the First Lady of Konoha,"

'And she must be stronger than Madara, considering Hashirama chose her instead of Madara.'

"No need to worry, she just wants to talk with you," Tsunade said with a wry smile on her face as she hadn't expected his reaction to be this intense.

Before Kidou knew it, he was standing in front of a door and he heard an old voice, "Come in,"

He looked at Tsunade at his side, who just smiled at him and pulled him inside the door, and Kidou saw an old woman with maroon hair with wrinkles on her face.

"Greetings, Mito Sama. I am Kidou," Kidou said with a low bow and Tsunade looked at him in disbelief as she saw his act.

"No need to be formal," Mito said as she looked at Kidou and he nodded at her. Instead of sitting on the chair, he sat on the floor and Mito looked at him for a moment and she didn't say anything.

Seeing this, Tsunade looked at Kidou for a moment and she also sat on the floor with him.

"So, you are the one Tsunade wants to give the Sealing Scroll?" Mito said and Kidou looked at Tsunade, who turned to the side and didn't reply.

"Yes, I am the one," Kidou said while glaring at Tsunade, who didn't even look at him.

Looking at them, Mito chuckled and said, "You are the first man Tsunade brought home,"

"Huh?"x2

"Also, you are the only one who she has asked about to me about the techniques,"

"Eh?"x2

Kidou said with a dumbfounded expression and then he looked at Tsunade, who also had a stunned look on her face.

'Why is she talking about this?' Kidou thought and then an idea came to his mind.

'Don't tell me!' He thought and looked at Tsunade, who also had the look of realisation on her face and before she could speak, Mito continued, "Tsunade, go and bring Nawaki and Kushina." Mito said and Kidou's expression changed.

"Hmm," With a nod, Tsunade left the room hurriedly and Kidou looked at Mito, who had a smile on her face. She opened her eyes and they were clear, instead of muddy ones and she said, "Kidou, What is she to you?"

"Huh?"

"Just tell me what do you think of her?"

"What do I think of her? She is grumpy, bossy, drinks too much, doesn't let me do whatever I want, comes to my house unannounced, asks me to prepare candies and drinks, and even prevents me when I go outside to..." Kidou stopped as he heard Mito chuckling and she asked, "Is that all?"

"...Yes," Kidou said, not falling for her tricks anymore and Mito shook her head and said, "You should know that I can detect lies, right?"

"Yeah,"

"Then why don't tell more about what you think of her?" Mito asked with a smile on her face and Kidou sighed at this.

"She is bossy, but she takes care of those she is close to, well except for Jiraiya who gets beaten by her."

"She gambles and drinks too much, but I find this cute about her. She doesn't let me do a few things, well it was my fault for mixing and creating poison, and then drinking it without preparation."

"Also..." Kidou was about to speak, but the door opened and two people appeared in the room and they rushed at Mito.

"Grandma!" They shouted and seeing this, Kidou stopped and Mito also shook her head.

Tsunade entered the room with no expression on her face, but inwardly she was panicking as she had heard everything and she hadn't expected Mito to ask these things.

(She is in her twenties and Mito wants to see her married so...)

Also, hearing his views on her, she didn't know what to say.

"Nawaki, Kushina!" Mito said as she looked at Nawaki and Kushina with a smile on her face and she continued, "How was your school today, Nawaki?"

"It was okay," Nawaki said and then she looked at Kushina and asked, "What about you? Are you comfortable here?"

"EH! I am getting used to life here," Kusina said and Mito nodded at her.

Tsunade sat beside Kidou and said, "What did you two talk about?"

"Nothing important," Kidou said and Tsunade looked at him for a moment and then nodded. She looked at him looking at Kushina, and she understood that he knew about her and why she was here.
