Chapter 1

New York went by many names: the city that never sleeps, the concrete jungle, but Spidey simply likes to call it home. Unfortunately for him, his home was currently being attacked by a giant purple alien who had a thing for death, and he meant that quite literally as well. The only thought that was going through Spidey's head was…Why was it always New York?!

The destruction caused by Thanos attacking New York was a cataclysmic event that sent shockwaves throughout the city. As the Mad Titan descended upon the metropolis, chaos ensued. Buildings crumbled, streets were ripped apart, and billowing clouds of dust and debris filled the air.

Thanos, with his immense power and the Infinity Gauntlet adorned with the all-powerful Infinity Stones, unleashed devastating attacks that wreaked havoc on the city. His forces, including the fearsome Black Order and mindless Chitauri soldiers, added to the mayhem as they ruthlessly carried out their destructive mission.

Skyscrapers once standing tall were reduced to rubble, their steel frames twisted and broken. The iconic landmarks of New York City, such as the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building, bore the brunt of the onslaught, their structures severely damaged.

Amidst the chaos, the brave defenders of Earth, the Avengers, and other heroes, rallied to confront this existential threat. They engaged in intense battles against Thanos and his minions, desperately trying to protect innocent lives and halt the relentless destruction.

The sounds of explosions, crumbling infrastructure, and the desperate cries of civilians filled the air as the city became a battleground between good and evil. The streets ran with chaos, as people fled in panic, seeking shelter from the onslaught.

Despite the overwhelming power of Thanos, the heroes fought valiantly, using their unique abilities and unwavering determination to stand against the forces of darkness.

But after hours of desperately fighting off the mad titan, it was slowly becoming a one-sided slaughter. The infinity gauntlet was proving too much for Spidey and the world's greatest hero to take down.

The bodies of his fellow heroes lay on the ground, out of the count, beaten to the point where it would take at least a month or two to recover. Thanos was already dangerous by himself, being able to fight Hulk one on one and win was an incredible feat but with a gauntlet, that was supposedly destroyed, which basically made you an all-powerful God? That's when sh** really starts to hit the fan.

Spider-Man was breathing heavily in exhaustion. Grapehead wanted to have some fun and chose him to be his entertainment, and was now playing a game called Don't touch the lasers or get be reduced to atoms!

Spider-Man dodged another laser beam aimed at his head and leaped over the one heading towards his legs. He's been doing this for over ten minutes! Ten minutes of constantly dodging overbeams that could kill him if they even grazed him! His body was burning from him pushing himself to the limits and he was feeling very! Very! Tired!

"Guys! If any of you have any idea on how to get that gauntlet off of him- whoa!- I suggest you do it now! " Spidey yelled out while narrowly avoiding getting hit in the stomach.

He looked over to his allies only for his heart to drop, they were all knocked out! He was the only one left standing! Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, hell even Captain Marvel! They were all out for the count!!!

"Hahaha! Pathetic bug! Your allies can't save you! No being in this universe can! Now accept your fate and die by my hands!" The titan cracked while raising his hand that wore the infinity gauntlet, the power stone glowed brightly and fired another laser at the arachnid.

Thinking fast, Peter ducked under the blast and at the same time fired a glob of webs at Thano's face. Hitting him straight in the eyes, blocking the titan's vision. He quickly formed a plan that would make even Dead Pool think he was insane.

"It's all or nothing!" Peter yelled out before sprinting his way over to Thanos at incredible speed before taking a mighty leap at the purple-skinned titan and shooting out two web stings behind the purple aliens to get more speed and power by pulling with all his strength on his webs.

Thanos ripped the web off of his face, now looking more than irritated that the bug got a hit on him, a God! He looked to where he last saw the spider only to get kicked in his face by a pair of red shoes, almost knocking the mighty titan over but he held strong.

"Annoying bug!" Thanos angrily roared out as he took two steps back to stabilize his footing, he refused to allow a pathetic bug to knock him down!!

With an angry bellow, Thanos made a grab at Peter, but instead grabbed nothing but air as the wall-crawler flipped out of Thanos's reach and once again shot a glob of webs at the purple alien's face, once again blinding the titan.

Peter landed on the ground beside Thanos and grabbed hold of the titan's hand that wore the infinity gauntlet. He tried to desperately get the gauntlet off of the Titans using all of his strength to do so, but failed to get it off.

"Hrg! Oh, come on! Did you gorilla glue this to your hand!?" Spider-Man screams out as he begins to do his final hail merry.

If he survived this, he was going to go home and finish that sandwich that he never got to finish. "Come on….! Please!!!"

Thanos, finally ripping the webs off his face, ripped his hand out of the spider's hold and gave the spider a powerful backhand slap with his armored hand. Spider-Man was sent flying when the giant hand hit his head, Peter could swear he heard his skull crack when that happened, his body slammed into a giant boulder that cracked upon impact.

"Ow…" Spidey said weakly as his body slumped against the giant. His right hand tightly clenched while the other lay limply at his side.

"I have enough of this! You annoyed me for the last time, Bug!" Thanos angrily yelled out, his face contorted in anger he raised the infinity gauntlet and made his middle finger and thumb connect. "Now… SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR UNIVERSE!"

As the titan yelled those words, the stones on the gauntlet began to glow, and he snapped his fingers causing the stones to flash in a bright flash of light. Blinding Spider-Man who could barely keep himself conscious.

As the blinding light died down. Thanos had a mad smile on his face while his eyes remained closed. He opened his eyes, ready to see everything gone, but to his confusion, everything was still there. The spider, the heroes, the universe, and that damn spider!

"What is the meaning of this!?" Thanos screamed out in confusion, trying to understand why the snap didn't work! The titan noticed movement at the corner of his eye. The bug was standing up or was at least trying to, and was laughing?!

"What do you find so amusing, insect?" Thanos demanded growing more and more angry with each passing second.

Spider-Man chuckled while tilting his head to look up at Thanos before finally unclenching his fist to show what was inside. A glowing blue and green stone could be seen resting on his palm. Thanos quickly looked down at his gauntlet, finally noticing two of the infinity stones gone, before quickly looking back at the hero.

"Hehe, sticky fingers," Peter said simply before chuckling even more. Wait till Logan hears about this, he'd probably be laughing his ass off before smacking him in the head for doing something so stupid.

"Give those back Now!" Thanos yelled out before charging another purple death beam and blasting it toward the hero.

Peter tried to desperately dodge out of the way like before but found that his body would not respond to his demands. His Spidey senses were screaming at him to move, but his body was far too damaged to do so. His mind ran through the memories he made throughout his life. The spider-themed hero weakly stared at the beam of death rushing towards him and couldn't help but think to himself at his last moments.

"I hope I made you proud Uncle Ben."

Unnoticed by either him or Thanos. The stones began to light up, responding to Peter spider senses from the incoming death. The stones in Peter's hands were glowing brighter and brighter before it sent out a powerful flash of blue and green light, right when the beam was about to come into contact. There was nothing left of Spider-Man, and nor were the infinity stones .

"NO!" Thanos bellowed out in anger, the bug was gone and so were his infinity stones! Thanos looked down at the infinity gauntlet to see what was lost only to feel the left side of his face explode in pain. Turning his head, his anger was beginning to reach new heights.

"Who dares to strike a God!?"

Turning to the direction the attack came from, Thanos noticed the fallen heroes were now all standing and were starting to regain consciousness, more than a few of them were in disbelief and angry at seeing their friend and ally disappearing from existence.

Thanos saw the one who attacked him. It was one of Earth's strongest heroines and the cousin to the strongest Avenger, She-Hulk, she was a giant of a woman with green skin that was complimented with cascading raven hair, and muscle that could rival a bodybuilder. And she. was. pissed

A hot stream of tears flowed down her face as she just witnessed New York's hero die in front of her, unable to do anything but watch.

"I DARE! YOU UGLY, OVERGROWN, MUTATED GRAPE SHIT!!! I'LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR TAKING HIM FROM ME!!!"

As She-Hulk screamed out those words of vengeance, everything became pitch black before big bolded words appeared on the screen.

To Be Continued

A few moments of the words stayed on the screen, before the end credits began to play, crediting all the people who had helped create the movie. Silence filled the theater before shouts of boos and complaints began to erupt.

"Wait! What!? it can't just end like that!" A random teenager screamed out in disbelief.

"How could they end it in a cliffhanger!?" Another one shouted out.

"The next part is going to come out in two years!? I can't wait that long!"

More and more people began to voice their complaints, as food began to be thrown around for the poor minimum wage employees to clean up.

"Did they just kill off Spider-Man!?"

"Make him pay for killing him, She-Hulk!"

"Do you guys think she has a thing for Spidey?"

A random question was thrown out through the chaos, and some managed to catch it. People began to reply back in equal parts agreement and disagreement, having different opinions and viewpoints.

"Definitely! Did you see the way she looked at him during the movie? The girl's got it bad! Can't say I blame her though! I bet they're secretly a thing!" A brown-haired man shouted out from within the crowd.

"What!? No way! Black Widow and him are the jam! Did you see how they flirted with each other!?" Another man, this time with red hair, argued back.

"Flirting? You call that flirting!? She literally said she'll crush his balls if he made another one of his stupid jokes, and then blackmailed him by threatening to reveal his secret identity!" The same brown-haired man shouted out this time louder than before.

"Phoenix Spider forever!!!" A random woman randomly shouted out interrupting them.

Chaos descended upon the theater as more and more people began to fight about who the better pairing was, and formed groups of those who agreed with their viewpoints.

While this was happening a young girl could be seen jumping up and down in excitement, while her parents began to pack things up. She was a young girl around the age of ten, wearing a nice fur coat and a Spider-Man mask was currently resting on top of her head, and was looking at her parents in disbelief.

"What are you doing? We haven't seen the post-credits scene yet!" She panicked at them before turning back to stare at the giant screen, desperately wishing for the credits to end faster.

Her parents shook their heads in amusement while giving each other knowing smiles. She was always like this when watching superhero movies, especially the ones with her favorite heroes in them, a.k.a Spider-Man.

She was his biggest fan, as she would often tell her parents whenever something related to the arachnid was brought up, and has all kinds of merchandise that would make collectors cry in envy.

The girl had been begging her parents to take her to the movies, instead of the boring "opera", and watch the new movie that just came out that day.

Her parents, being the kind parents they are, gave in to her begging and decided to ditch the opera and watch a movie instead. Their daughter was a ball of excitement when they arrived at the theater, hopping up and down while excitedly telling them about how cool the movie was going to be.

After getting their tickets and snacks, they went to their seats and enjoyed the movie. While Martha and Thomas didn't understand or recognize most of the heroes and villains in the movie, they did recognize the spider theme hero their daughter likes to talk so much about.

It was so cute when she cried out when she thought Spider-Man was about to get vaporized before he miraculously teleported away. They already knew he wasn't going to die, but Bryce didn't. Of course, they knew Spider-Man wouldn't die, the studio wouldn't just kill off their cash cow, after all. And what kind of parents would they be, to spoil the movie for their little girl?

"Now, now dear it's time to go. We promised Alfred we would be back by eleven after all!" Her father said in a firm voice. The now-named Bryce pouted before nodding her head in compliance. "Besides, I think it's going to be a bit too rowdy for us to stay anyway."

He looked around the chaotic theater and found that the people inside seemed to have finished forming fractions.

"Screw all of you! Sue Storm and Spidey all the way!!!" A random woman shouted with a small army of people shouting out behind her in agreement.

"Then you may burn in hell! Rogue and him are obviously made for each other!" A half-naked burly man roared out while waving a flag that had a picture of said couple French kissing each other rather deeply, where he got that picture no one will ever know.

The family rushed towards the exit not wanting to stay behind and get caught up in the chaos, when they finally exited the room and everything was calmer, they began making small talk about the movie as they made their way towards the back exit doors, before they were stopped by one of the employees.

"Sir, Ma'am. Would you like to take with you this limited edition comic book? The company wanted everyone that came and watched the movie on the first night of premiere to have one as a thank-you gift and I just so happen to have the last one." The rather old man with shaded glasses asked while giving them a smile. "This picks up, right when Spider-Man barely escaped death, and follows his adventure across time and space."

Bryce looked at the comic book in the man's hand. She could see big bolded words on the front page of the comic, she could read out the words The Amazing Spider-Man! A Timeless Adventure!

Bryce let out an excited squeal! The comic book in the employee's hands was supposed to come out next year! Fans all around the world have been trying to get their hands on one, some are even willing to give anyone Millions of dollars just to catch a glimpse of the cover! She herself tried to get one as well by using her parents' money and influence, but like everyone else, she also failed to obtain one and got a scolding to go along with it.

She quickly grabbed it away from the man's hands before her parents could say anything and hugged it close to her chest. Her mother scolded the girl lightly while her father gave a stern look before letting out a small laugh at his daughter's defiant pout. They thanked the man before they exited the building. The white-haired man waved them goodbye with a warm smile on his face.

"What did you think about the movie sweetie?" Martha asked her daughter as they exited the movie theater through the back door. Her daughter looked away from the comic book in her hands and looked at her mother with an excited smile.

"It was amazing! It was everything I wanted it to be and more!" The little girl said with excitement in her voice. "It answered so many questions on what is happening and theories that everyone had on it, and also destroyed many others as well!"

The girl rambled on, and her parents looked at each other with amusement, knowing that once they asked her a question about it they would be met back with a storm of words.

"Everything was amazing, from the acting, animation, and story! Did you see them!? The heroes and villains!? Everyone was amazing, but Spider-Man was definitely far superior compared to everyone else!"

And there it was, Spider-Man. It would always circle back to that particular hero no matter what they asked, their little girl was obsessed with him. It was fine they suppose, as long as she didn't look up to someone like Norman Osborn they were fine. The man gave them the shivers when they saw the first Spider-Man movie.

"…"

The storm of words stopped, causing the two of them to look at each other in confusion, usually, they wouldn't hear the end of her tirade till the end of the night. Looking down at their little girl to see what was wrong, only to see her with her nose buried deep in the book. They shook their heads in disbelief and began letting out a silent laugh, after a while they began to silently talk to each other so as to not disturb their daughter.

They never noticed the man following them.

Bryce carefully flipped through pages of her newest comic book and examined each page carefully, deeply concentrated. Her eyes gazed at each page with passion, it was as if she finally found an oasis in a blazing hot desert. She watched as the pages came to life the more she read and the deeper she delved into it.

Spider-Man did not in fact die, instead, he was teleported away by the space stone when it sensed danger coming to the one holding it. Somehow the space stone and time stone connected with him and were able to connect with his spider senses in order to save him from death!

Spider-Man was still alive! She couldn't help but jump a little in excitement. As far as she knows, she was the only one that has a copy so far. Everyone else is probably thinking that Spidey was dead! Oh, how wrong they are! She continued reading her comic with rapid attention, wanting to see what came next.

She flipped through the pages and watched as Spider-Man was teleported through different universes one after another. He never stayed in the universes for long as the stones would again and again teleport him.

In one universe he was teleported to was a world full of creatures that people used to battle against each other. They used an object called "Pokeball" in order to summon and fight against one another to test their creature's skills. Bryce couldn't help but find it to be amazing. The webhead stayed there for a full six seconds, barely able to comprehend what was happening, before he was teleported away again.

Once again, the hero found himself unexpectedly transported to another universe, a vast world covered in endless water. This new realm was teeming with pirates and marines sailing the high seas. In the midst of this breathtaking setting, a captivating image portrayed our spider-themed hero gracefully descending from the sky, accompanied by a meticulously detailed background that showcased the wonders of this unfamiliar universe.

Among the crew of a pirate ship, Spider-Man spotted a young boy donning a straw hat. To his astonishment, this boy possessed the remarkable ability to stretch his limbs to seemingly impossible lengths, reminiscent of the renowned character Mister Fantastic. In awe, Spider-Man watched as the boy effortlessly retracted his elongated arm from an unimaginable distance, delivering a devastating punch to a grotesque creature wielding a club. The impact of his punch sent the creature hurtling through the air, leaving Spider-Man in awe of the boy's incredible power.

Wait- Was that thing coming towards him!?

Until his awe suddenly turned into horror.

As Bryce read in suspense, the space stone intervened just in time, saving her favorite hero from the imminent collision. With a relieved sigh, she felt grateful that he had escaped harm. However, Spidey found himself helplessly caught in a relentless cycle of teleportation, universe after universe, with no control over his destination.

For a grueling five minutes, the hero was thrown through different realities, unable to stop or make sense of his predicament. Until finally, the chaotic journey came to a halt in a universe that, fortunately, closely resembled his own.

The city he found himself in was a stark contrast to the lively and vibrant one he was accustomed to. Darkness loomed over the desolate streets, casting a gloomy pallor upon everything. The once-bustling metropolis now stood eerily still, its vibrant colors now faded and replaced with muted tones. Buildings, once gleaming with life, now stood in disrepair and decay, their windows shattered and boarded up. The atmosphere was heavy, with a thick fog blanketing the city, obscuring any remnants of light that might have penetrated through.

As Spidey surveyed his surroundings from atop a dilapidated building, he could see the signs of neglect and abandonment all around him. The streets below were littered with debris and overgrown vegetation, giving an impression of nature reclaiming what had been left behind. The city's once-iconic landmarks were now mere shadows of their former glory, their grandeur marred by the passage of time.

The darkness seemed to seep into every corner of this desolate world, engulfing it in an oppressive aura. The sounds of sirens and the palpable sense of despair hung heavily in the air, causing an unsettling feeling to wash over the injured hero. Uncertain of his next move and with his costume in tatters, he stood on the rooftop, contemplating the challenges that lay ahead in this grim and forbidding city. It made for an impressive picture as our spider-clad hero looked over the city in his battle-worn uniform.

"Well…It could've been worse. I could've ended up in that weird place where the vampires sparkle." Spider-Man thought to himself while holding on to his injured ribs from Thanos, the purple grape bastard when he threw She-Hulk at him. "Wow, This whole city looks like it's going through a depression."

"Wait, I'm not allowed to say that! I'm from a city with the highest crime rates!…but still." The thought bubbles read before Bryce let out an indignant sound, this was her home after all! No matter how bad it was… Bryce stopped reading as she stared stunned at the panel that showed the newest universe the Spider-themed hero appeared in.

"Oh my god!" Bryce excitedly thought to herself. "He's in Gotham! I can see the movie theater that we were just at! He's in our universe!"

She hopped up and down in excitement, never expecting the writers to do such a thing as this! Millions of people are about to go crazy over this! Bryce looked up at her parents, about to tell them the greatest of news before she was suddenly pulled close to her mother and her vision blocked by her father's broad back. Her comic book fell to the ground from the sudden pull.

"GIVE YOUR WALLET AND JEWELRY! RIGHT NOW!!!" A crazed voice screamed out, his voice enhanced by the alleyway's narrow walls making it as loud as thunder.

Bryce stood frozen, her mind struggling to comprehend the overwhelming events unfolding before her. With a mix of terror and desperation, she looked up at her mother, seeking solace and reassurance in her eyes. Despite her own fear, her mother maintained a façade of strength, holding Bryce close to her chest, providing what little comfort she could.

The robber's growls grew more aggressive, fueling the tension in the air. Bryce's father, his voice calm, offered to give the intruder what he wanted, reaching into his coat pocket and retrieving his wallet.

"Here, take it and go," he said, extending it towards the man. In an instant, the wallet was snatched away, but to Bryce's dismay, the criminal's intentions didn't end there.

The moonlight pierced through the dark clouds, casting an ethereal glow on her mother's necklace, adorned with glistening pearls. The robber's eyes fixated on the shimmering jewelry, his gaze filled with a wild, manic intensity. With a crazed expression and a finger unconsciously tightening on the trigger.

"Jewelry! Give it to me now!"

Fear tightened its grip on Bryce's heart as she watched the scene unfold. Time seemed to slow down, the seconds stretching like an eternity. Suddenly, chaos erupted in the alleyway.

BANG!

BANG!

Two gunshots pierced the silence, shattering the night. The sound reverberated through the air, mingling with the scent of gunpowder.

Blood splattered onto the grimy pavement, staining Gotham City's streets with a tragic mark.

The only child of the Wayne family bore witness to what would leave a significant impact for the rest of her life.

Her father…

Was saved by a web-slinging hero…

Despite his costume in tatters and numerous injuries across his body, Spider-Man valiantly positioned himself between them, shielding the Wayne family from the bullets.

His chest bore the evidence of two bullet wounds, oozing crimson blood. Despite being on the verge of exhaustion, he exhibited unwavering strength and resolve as he refused to collapse.

Everyone stood in stunned silence, their minds struggling to comprehend the astonishing sight before them. Bryce's eyes widened, filled with awe and shock as her beloved hero emerged into reality, ready to protect them.

In a split second, the robber attempted to make a move, but before he could even so much as twitch a muscle...

Thwip!

Webs shot forth, knocking the hand holding the gun into the wall with a resounding impact. The robber struggled futilely against the strong, unyielding strands of the webbing.

Thwip!

Another web landed with precision, pinning his remaining hand against the same unyielding wall. Escape was now an impossible feat for the trapped criminal.

Thwip!

A final web was expertly aimed and struck the robber directly in the most vulnerable area…the testicles.

"!!!" The criminal's agonized scream echoed through the air, but no sound escaped his lips as foam formed around them. Overwhelmed by the excruciating pain, he succumbed to unconsciousness, his ability to bring forth new life forever lost.

The family of three watch in fascination at what unfolded before them, too stunned to speak and unable to comprehend what just happened.

"You folks alright?" The Spider theme hero, however, was the complete opposite. "Any of you hurt anywhere?"

Before her parents could reply, Bryce broke free from her mothers hold and rushed towards her hero, much to her mother and fathers chargin.

Spider-Man could only watch in surprise as the little girl ran towards him and hugged him tightly around his stomach. Normally, a little girl hugging him would do next to nothing, but unfortunately for Spidey, in his incredibly weakened state, it felt as if he were being hugged by the Hulk at full strength.

"You saved us! Your Spider-Man and you saved us!" Bryce gushed out hugging him as tightly as she could, much to his body's protest.

The hero groaned as he gently pulled the girl's arms away from a still fresh wound around his stomach. Her parents soon rushed towards their daughter and pulled her into their arms, all the while admonishing her.

Seeing them scolding their daughter, Spider-Man couldn't help but smile underneath his mask at the sight of such caring parents. That smile would remain on his face as his vision started to darken and his injured body fell to the ground from exhaustion from fighting off Thanos and his army to taking two bullets point blank. As he was passing out his ears picked up the panicked scream of the little girl he just saved screaming out his name.

"Peter!"

Which was strange, he could've sworn he never told her his name.
