Chapter 4 : Leaving the Island and the Last Test

After two days of hard research, Jack couldn't find any boats, unfortunately.

He sat on the branch of a tree with a deep sigh and a sad face.

"Am I condemned to stay on this island?"

"Not even if I have to eat, I'll leave this damn island." He Shouted with determination.

But suddenly, he turns his head and looked in one direction, then saw a slightly injured young boy running towards a nearby tree with a few people on his back.

Jack jumped to the ground with joy and quickly approached the young boy.

The young boy seeing him, throwe the bodies behind him, pulled out a fishing rod an looked Jack with vigilance.

Jack recognized him immediately.

It was Gon the protagonist of the manga.

"Don't worry, I'm not your enemy, I'm a traveler who used to train me on this island."

Gon relaxed his alertness slightly.

"My name Jack NewBlack is It's nice to meet you." Says he with a smile.

"Gon Freecss." Says Gon with a slight smile, then he stooped down and put a badge with number in the hand of the young woman he was carrying earlier.

Jack recognized the people carried by Gon.

It was Leorio, Kurapika and the woman should be Panzu or Ponzu one of the candidates for the exam.

"Please Gon can you tell me how to get off this island?"

"The Hunter Association will come and get us, I guess if you want to go, this is that direction." Says Gon with a smile.

"Thank you, Gon, I owe you a favor."After that, Jack run to the direction indicate by Gon.

After his departure Gon breathed a deep sigh of relief.

Then he decided to change the location of his friends' bodies in case Jack came back.

Although Gon looked naive, he is still one of the few people in the world to have passed the hunter exam.

Although his instincts tell him that he didn't mean him any harm, but he wasn't so stupid as to trust him completely.

Jack ran with joy. He looked up to the sky and saw an airship flying over the island.

"The fourth test is over."

"All candidates to gather at the starting point."

Jack accelerated even faster and a few minutes later, he arrived in front of an airship in front of which some examiners were standing.

He approached them and repeated the same lie he told Gon and after a short conversation the examiner agreed to drop him off in the next town.

He entered the airship, leaving the examiners.

"Sir, before the examination we had checked the island and he had no one." Says one of the association's employees.

After a few hours, all the candidates arrived, but only nine of them won the opportunity to participate in the next round.

Finally, the airship took off with the participants back on board.

As Jack was walking around in the airship, he sees Gon with a white-haired young boy.

"Hey Gon, I see you've succeeded the test."

Seeing Jack approaching, Gon smiles and says

"Nice to meet you, Killua."

"Yeah." said Killua indifferently.

"I see I hope you pass the exam."

After that Jack went to bed in a room of the airship and fell asleep quietly.

Time passed quickly.

The next day the airship landed in a large residence of several hectares.

Jack was awakened by one of the Hunter Association employees.

Who took him down from the airship, but as he wanted to leave the field to explore the outside world he was stopped by one of the employees who told him that it was forbidden to leave the manor before the end of the examination.

Jack finally gave up and sat in a corner and watched the exam unfold.

The candidates all looked at him for a moment before ignoring him except Gon who greeted him, attracting the curiosity of Kurapika and Leorio.

The examiners of the previous tests, accompanied by the President, looked the candidates for a while.

The president's eyes stopped for two seconds on Jack with astonishment before ignoring him, but this time, he had a big smile on his face.

Seeing this, Jack couldn't help but think with chills.

"Don't tell me I came across a Yaoi version of HXH."

Then President Netero took the floor.

"The final event is a dual tournament."Then he removed the cloth hiding the clashes list.

After the complaints of the candidates the examination finally began.

Finally Gon also won after the bald man's abandonment.

But during the fight the bald man knocked him out, he was transported by the employees of the hunter association.

The next fights were not very interesting, Jack even fell asleep, but as he slept a dangerous aura woke him up.

He opened his eyes and then looked at the show lazily.

He saw a young man with long black hair blocked by Leorio, Kurapaki and the bald ninja.

"President even if I kill everyone in the room here present, there are no rules in the association that would disqualify me, right?"

Jack then remembered this scene.

Jack stoped use his Nen before sitting down again in a corner of the room that was completely silent.
