1 Distraction: Clint Barton x Reader

As Clint stumbles through the door, I run up to him. "Long Day?" I ask, as if I don't already know his answer as I take his face into my hands and kiss him. "Can we just, lay down together and watch a movie?" He asked, seemingly wanting to take his mind off of whatever he had to do earlier today.

I saw he had a bunch of cuts and bruised, so I prompted him to lay down on the couch while I grabbed a first aid kit. "What's that for?" Clint asked as he grabbed some chips from the table beside the couch.

I raise my eyebrow. "You're acting like you're not actively bleeding." He was silent for a bit before replying "Fair Point. Now get over here, what movie should we watch?" I pause. "How about The Lion King?" He chuckled "Disney Huh? Sounds good."

I started up the movie, and then when that got started, I proceeded tending to my husbands wounds. "You know I love you right?" He said suddenly. I smiled and responded. "I know, I love you too darling." "You're just so amazing, I don't know how I ever ended up being worthy of you." I smiled weakly and kissed his shoulder.

"You are worthy of the world, I would give it to you if I could. Don't bring yourself down like that." He sighed and stayed silent as I tended to his wounds. After a few minutes, I had disinfected and bandaged up his cuts. "All done darling." I sighed as I kissed his temple.

He turned around and tackled hugged me as I gasped and started laughing. "Alright, now time to cuddle up together and cry about Mufasa's death." I snorted "No, you're gonna cry, I'm unaffected by cartoon lions dying."

Little did I know, I was affected by cartoon lions dying.
