13 Stalker

June 5-Tuesday

The next day at school Kei went to the cafeteria to find Ayano. He told the girls that he would meet with her and they had different reactions to it.

Utaha just sneered and bad-mouthed him about meeting a girl in secret. Yuri just misunderstood me as being a playboy. Anna already knew the reason why I was meeting her so she didn't say much. Finally, Megumi just said "Ok" with her expressionless face and didn't think too much.

After he explained to Utaha and Yuri the reason they let him go. As Kei was looking around trying to find Ayano he found her sitting by herself in the corner of the cafeteria. He went up to her and sat down.

"Hello, Ayano. You are ready to study." Kei asked.

"Hello, Kei. I'm ready. To be honest this is the first time I was excited about studying." Ayano said with a smile. This was the first time someone asked to help her aside from her family. She never really had any friends growing up and that continued until middle school. So when Kei asked to help her study she was truly happy.

"Alright then first let's go over the material you missed." Kei began his lessons with her. During this time Kei taught her ways to remember the material better and also helped her understand some of it. They continued until lunch was over.

"Well, that was fast. That's all for today, let's meet up again tomorrow." Kei said.

"Alright. Thank you for helping me. I can understand it better than before and the tricks you taught me to remember are working." Ayano said with a happy face.

"You're welcome. Let's meet again tomorrow, see you later Ayano." Kei said while leaving for his classroom.

"Ok. Bye Kei." Ayano said.

Kei went back to class and waited out the time until it was time to go. Today he met with everyone since they didn't have to go to their clubs today.

"So do you guys want to do or go somewhere today?" Kei asked.

"Yes! Let's go get ice cream! I am craving it since the weather's been hot lately." Yuri says enthusiastically.

"I suppose Ice cream wouldn't be bad, it is hot right now." said Utaha while fanning herself.

"Hm." Megumi nods her head in agreement.

"As long as Kei goes." Anna says while looking at Kei.

"Alright let's go get some ice cream!" Kei yells out loud.

They begin walking toward an ice cream shop that sells a variety of flavors. When they get there they order and then sit down at one of the tables.

As they were chatting the door opened and students from another high school entered. Kei didn't pay much attention to them until he noticed a man following them.

He looked in the direction the man was looking and saw one of the students. She had long blond hair tied in two pigtails with red eyes.

Kei looked back at the guy and narrowed his eyes. He felt she was being stalked by him. He wasn't sure so he decided to wait until he noticed something more concrete. Of course, if he sees the girl being followed out of the ice cream shop then he will confront the man.

"What's wrong Kei." asked Megumi noticing him spacing out.

"Nothing, just thinking about how to help Ayano" Kei answered.

"Oh right, that girl your helping study right?" asked Yuri.

"Yup. I enjoy helping others study. Ever since Anna asked me to help her. But in her case, it was an enjoyable challenge to tackle considering how bad she was at first. hahaha." Kei said while laughing.

Anna just pouted and looked away. The other girls also chuckled at Anna's reaction.

"Kei, why didn't you let us stay with you during lunch? I understand helping that girl study but we could also help her you know." asked Utaha.

"Well, I didn't want to overwhelm her with people. It seems to me she doesn't have many people she can talk to. So for all of you guys to suddenly start helping her would be a little overwhelming." Kei said.

"I guess that is true." Utaha said.

They chatted with each other until they decide to leave.

As they were getting up, Kei noticed the girl and her group of friends had also left. He then saw the man, who he believed to be a stalker, also get up and leave. He decided to follow them to make sure they were safe, especially that girl he noticed before.

"I have to go get something right now. Sorry but head on home okay Anna." Kei apologized.

Anna was confused but looked at him for a few seconds before agreeing.

"Okay." she said.

"Alright, see you tomorrow Megumi, Yuri, Utaha!" Kei said while running in the other direction.

"Wait, Kei!?" Yuri yelled in disbelief. She can't believe Kei just abandoned them.

"Well, I guess he has his reasons. Let's go. Our houses are all near each other anyway so it's not a big deal." Utaha said.

Megumi also nodded in agreement and they started walking away. Anna joined them and Yuri was still in disbelief but quickly ran toward them.
