Money Troubles

After dinner was over Kei went ahead and washed the dishes with Megumi's help and asked if she was going to stay.

"Megumi, do you want to stay the night?" Kei asked.

"If you would allow me then yes. Thank you." Megumi responded with an expressionless face.

"Alright. Hey Anna, Megumi is going to stay over for the night. Can she sleep in your room?" Kei asks Anna while finishing the dishes.

"Ok" Anna says while feeling excited about her friend staying over.

"Done. Thanks for the help Megumi." Kei says after finishing the dishes.

"Don't worry about it. It's the least I can do" responds Megumi.

After they finish Megumi heads to the couch to sit with Anna to watch tv while Kei sits on the couch next to them. Kei then takes out his phone to look at the group chat.

Gintoki: "The Yorozuya though… I think it is pretty catchy."

Megumin: "It sounds like a dumb name Gin. No wonder you are the main protagonist."

Gintoki: "At least I'm better than the main protagonist of your world."

Megumin: "AHH! Why is that person the main protag in my world!? I refuse to accept it!"

Gintoki: "Don't mind."

After reading the chat he decided to ask Yukino about something.

Kei<Owner>: "Yukino can I ask you if you can give me basic information about magic in your world?"

Yukino: "Magic? Of course I can Kei-sama."

<Ding! Yukino sent Magic book 1 to Kei>

Kei<Owner>: "Thanks Yukino I owe you."

Yukino: "No, it's okay. Just the information about my world is enough."

Gintoki: "Ah. Wait Kei, I need your help on a very serious issue that I am having. I thought you might be the only one that can help me. It could very well mean the difference between life and death."

"..."

As Kei read this he felt like he knew what this was about but decided to ask anyway.

Kei<Owner>: "Alright what do you need?"

Gintoki: "Can you help me make money?"

Kei<Owner>: "Are you asking because of your future?"

Gintoki: "Of course! I refuse to live in such an unfair world where I lose money every time and am always in the red! I mean, I am supposed to be the main protagonist. How can the author be so cruel as to make me suffer every chapter! At least now I have a new author and they won't torture me like my previous one did, right!?"

The author kept quiet and refused to answer at this time.

Kei<Owner>: "…fine. I'll travel to your world in the future and try to set up a business to gain some money for you."

Kei was going to go to his world regardless. He was interested in how such a world can be so advanced, yet not at the same time.

Gintoki: "THANK GOD! Finally, I can get rich and not work hahaha. I told Zura that one day I would find a way but he didn't believe me. Now look at me!"

Kei<Owner>: "Yea good luck with that. Just make sure to not find a way to lose all of that money before you can actually spend it. Like at pachinko."

Gintoki: "Don't worry Kei. I am a changed man now while knowing my future. I decided to quit going to pachinko 3 days a week and instead 2 days a week. Of course, my sweet intake will increase since I will have more money now."

Kei<Owner> "…alright just don't bet all of the money."

Kei just gave up. He knows Gintoki would never change so he just lets him do what he wants.

Megumi: "We all know Gin will never be able to save most of the money he makes."

Gintoki: "Now missy you need to understand the hardships we adults have in this cruel world. It is not something a little kid like you can comprehend."

Megumi: "Of course I understand my family is dirt poor and we eat soup and bread to survive."

Gintoki/Yukino/Kei<Owner>: "…"

Megumi: "Hm. Why aren't you guys saying anything?"

"..."

Kei just stopped reading after that sad statement and decided to just watch tv with Megumi and Anna.
