Kicked out of bed

Black stone walls surrounded that city, in the middle of the night only rats could be heard crossing the deserted alleys. It was the first day of the week and in an imperial order the brothels were to remain closed, giving a little breath to the prostitutes who certainly grew tired of entertaining so many promiscuous and troubled men.

Walking through that city we inevitably reached his heart, which pulsed red as the said organ.

The imperial palace.

But it actually looked like a city. Forbidden to ordinary people and dangerous to its inhabitants and visitors.

Outside its massive wooden gates, silence reigned, however when we walk through its big red arches and walk through its silent corridors we will notice that this was the busiest place in the city.

Igniting the senses and walking in the right places at the wrong times, we discover secrets, intrigues and many guards on patrols.

It was after two in the morning, and while spies shared secrets, lovers exchanged pledges of love, guards patrolled, and servants carried out unspeakable orders for their masters; in the safest and most dangerous place of the palace in his heart, the man who ruled over everyone in that land was driven out of his bed.

That country was an empire and a great one. Its immensity covered rivers, seas, oceans, plateaus, plains, woods, forests, deserts and mountains. There were large cities, small villages, crowded and lively ports, a noble class, commoners, slaves and public servants. And ruling over these thousands of people in the comfort of his palace, having the power to call winds and rains at will was the man who was pitifully kicked out of his bed.

THE EMPEROR.

The person who dared to do this to such a powerful man must surely want death. In reality, she didn't know what she had done. The daring person in question was sleeping peacefully in the bed of the said emperor, who still had no idea of the danger that lurked in her.

And on the side of the bed, watching closely the person wrapped in the silk sheets, were an emperor, a general, and a minister. These last two, you know, they didn't live in the palace. However they were; for lack of a better word; dragged from their beds in the middle of the night by order of their monarch and taken to the sovereign's private quarters.

It must be great to be an emperor, and to be able to wake people up in the middle of the night, get them out of their beds and take them anywhere and they have no right to complain or curse you; at least not in your face.

The general and the minister then only had to blame the person who got the monarch out of bed and the reason they were actually there. A girl with black hair, white skin and bad sleep habits.

-That ... majesty ?! - It was the minister who spoke, although he was not just any minister, but the most important among them, the prime minister; the emperor's direct advisor, and a man who was shivering because when they took him out of the house they didn't even have time to put on his shoes or put on clothes other than pajamas.

A quick observation to say that the general was in the same situation, he just did not suffer so much from the cold. As a man used to the adverse situations of the battlefield, the climate was the least important for him at that moment.

Returning to the emperor, he looked at himself, in his royal robes to sleep and stared at the two men standing beside his bed; a strange concept popped into his "sleepover" mind. He laughed at the idea, leaving the other two confused. Detail, apart from the bed thieves there were only those three there.

A very dangerous situation for a girl to be in passing.

-I was about to sleep when one ... well, I don't know exactly what it was - The emperor started to speak, smoothing his smooth and young face as if there was a beard - Anyway, it opened up and inside the the girl came out. From start to finish she was asleep and seems to be in a kind of coma. As I didn't look like a murderer, I didn't call the guards and given the strangeness of the situation, the two were summoned here.

When the explanation was over, the emperor sat quietly at a table nearby and poured himself a cup of tea, previously prepared by his servants. Meanwhile the two men still standing by the bed were analyzing the situation.

Silence reigned in the rooms. None of the men looked like they were going to break it, well none of them knew what to do in that kind of situation.

The trio's attention was returned to the girl on the bed who seemed about to wake up, as the rustle of silk sheets as the young woman moved showed her restlessness in sleep.

In tacit silence the three decided to wait for the girl to wake up, they could do the rest later.
