The Present

A girl sitting inside the library is engrossed in the book that she is reading. Gently flipping the pages, she looks like she is reading some treasured book as opposed to the yellowish, almost torn pages and faded appearance of the book she is holding.
Bang!
A loud crash of the door being forcefully open startled her and made her cringe. Obviously familiar to the person who entered the room, she unhurriedly look up with an almost bored look. Chinka Fushigawa, her roommate for 2-years, is walking briskly towards her with an expression full of animated joy.
"Seyoo! I've been looking for you!" Chinka half- screech, half -laugh as she run-walk towards Seyoo.
"I know, ....yeah. Dont give me that look. Wait! I need air-- haaaampp" knowing that Seyoo's pointed look,Chinka whine breathlessly before engulfing air while her arms reaches towards her friend.
Seyoo dodges her hand and without missing a beat, holds her phone and type something before showing it to Chinka.
'as ever, u r so enrgetic ! pls tone it down. W r n d lib. So Wazup?'
"Se, sir Lu is so impressed with our project.He said, in verbatim" she started, before making her voice big and manly "...so professional and meticulous.It's as if it is made by a real writer" she said before screaming,"...eeeehhhhhhh!!!!! Seeeee.... He is so impressed by me. I think he noticed me now as in notice, notice." exclaimed by Chinka in her hyperventilated voice.
Seyoo is mockingly giving her a clap and a bow. Gently tugging Chinka's curly hair, she points to herself and flex her arm muscle as if telling that she did all the hardwork.
"I know. Yeah. Yeah. You did most of it.but c'mon Se, can you just ride to my excitement just this once.. You know how I'm overly inlooooovveeeee with Sir Lu. Just this once ok?"paired with her batting eyelash, Chinka clasp her hand in front of Seyoo.
Typing through her phone again, she showed it to Chinka as she shrugged with an obvious mocking face. Chinka reads the words 'K.Whatever.'
Seyoo smirks as she shifts her attention to the book that she is reading. Luckily, apart from them, no one is inside the small library.
Chinka slammed her hands on the table infront of Seyoo to get her attention. " Hey, you know what??!! Im quite disappointed with you. You are so heartless! Can you see how excited I am?My effort to find you immediately when I hear Sir Lu's comments just gone to waste!You're really cruel! I dont know why I'm still friends with you.. You know lots of my classmates wanted to be my roommate and bestfriend----"
The long and overacting litany of Chinka was cut due to her ringing phone. Her eyes got really round when she saw who is calling her. Jumping with joy, Chinka look at Seyoo and screech
"ahhhhhhhhh OMG.Wait, do I look good?"
Knowing who's calling, Seyoo gives her a thumbs up and slowly pointing at her cellphone, Seyoo signal her to answer the phone.
"Hello," Chinka's bashful but kittenish reply sounds really cute . She then talks quietly but happily as she smiles to Seyoo then walks outside the library.
'huh, Thank you Fuwie. I owe you one' Seyoo thought.
While Chinka is ranting, she texted her longtime crush to make her stop. She knows that Chinka will forget everything when Fuwei calls. crediting herself for a job well done, she smiles a little bit widely then stoop her head low as she goes back to reading. She didnt notice the man who enters the library looking at her direction.
