9 Chapter 9

Weixi noticed the interaction between her brother and fairy Xiu Ying's exchange. Her brother actually looked interested. She shook her brother. "Sister Ying is really pretty right big brother?" She smiled at Xiu Ying to which Xiu Ying blushed. How can this girl say such things in public like that?

Zhang Wei, again, found that smile adorable. A little smile came up on his face, one that his sister saw. She smiled and she already started planning mysterious things in her mind. Zhang Wei snapped out of it. What was wrong with him? 'This is not the first-time women have smiled at me. So why is hers different?'

He once more looked to see that she was smiling purely at the girl. No fakeness was seen in that smile. She seemed like she really enjoyed talking to his sister. Zhang Wei had found out that it was quite late, so he beckoned Weixi to leave. Weixi was sad and went to hug Xiu Ying. "Thank you, Sister Ying. I will call you. Come visit me sometime ok?" She looked at Xiu Ying showing her puppy face. Xiu Ying knew she couldn't say no but also knew she couldn't just walk into the Zhang estate because someone told her to visit. She just smiled and nodded.

When the bodyguards caught up with him, they brought Weixi away. She once again waved at Xiu Ying. Xiu Ying waved back. She then looked at Zhang Wei. He was about to leave when she held his hand. "Mr. Zhang don't take her words to heart. It was just gratitude speaking, and I don't even know where you live. Just see it as a helping hand. No favors held." Zhang Wei looked at the hand that was holding him. Xiu Ying realized what she was doing and quickly let go of him. For some reason, that did not sit well with him. He then frowned once more when he realized what he was thinking about.

He looked at her "Promises are meant to be kept. When you are free, do visit. You have my number. Weixi would not be too happy and would throw a tantrum." He used Weixi to cover up the fact that he was interested in seeing who she really was. ��Anyways, if she is one of them, it wouldn't really matter.' Xiu Ying looked at him, sighed and nodded. "Thank you, Mr. Zhang. I shall leave now. I have something to do."

She left Zhang Wei and headed back for the car shop. This was seen coincidentally by Zhang Wei as he was about to drive away. Weixi noticed and looked at her brother "Look it's pretty sister Xiu Ying." Zhang Wei nodded in acknowledgement and did not seem to notice that either intentionally or not, he called Xiu Ying pretty.

Meanwhile, also in the car was a woman who was looking in the direction of the car shop with venom in her eyes. 'Who is that girl? What was she doing with my man?" She wanted to go and question her and warn her to stay away from Zhang Wei. 'I will find out more about it later." She did not want to make her presence too known because she had a feeling that if she spoke to him, she would only be ignored. Also, Weixi might have told him that she deliberately made Weixi lost just to be with him.

She was very right. At this moment, when Zhang Wei had passed the car shop, his once normal cold face turned colder. Everyone could feel the shift of aura in the car. Ye Ying just kept quiet not wanting to alarm the tiger. At this point, Weixi decided to speak. "Why is it so cold here? Big brother can they turn down the AC?" Weixi looked innocently at her brother. Zhang Wei patted her head and his aura decreased. He also turned to the driver "Reduce the AC." The driver nodded but inwardly thought 'Which AC, it was off. It was clearly him making the car cold ah.' But he dare not say it loudly.

Again, Weixi spoke "Aunty Ye, why did you separate Weixi from big brother? I was looking everywhere for him but couldn't find him. Not until pretty sister Ying came to rescue me." Zhang Wei's gaze once again turned cold. Ye Ying shivered but said nothing. After all, she knew nothing was going to help her situation. She could neither deny nor accept. Zhang Wei didn't even bother looking at her. He would need to have a talk with his mother.

Xiu Ying got back to the car shop. She looked for her friend and spotted her beside a car. She smiled and walked towards Li Na, but saw that there was another person, a male. She frowned when she realized who that was but was too late in turning back. He waved her over "Xiu Ying over here."

Li Na then turned and saw Xiu Ying with her back to them. She also waved her over "Xiu Ying, I was looking for a car when I saw Yifeng. Don't blame him. It was me who went to him because I didn't want to be lonely. You were gone for a while. Where were you? Did you find anything troublesome?"

Xiu Ying smiled at her friend's concern. "I was on my way to you when a little girl approached me, and I helped her find her brother. She was so cute too." Li Na looked at her and recalled that there was also a girl that asked her to help look for her brother but shook her head. 'It was impossible for it to be the same person. She was getting food. Maybe her brother was in the shop too. Yes, that's it.'

She ten looked at Xiu Ying and acted surprised and turned to Lu Yifeng. "As I said, I happened to bump into Yifeng. He came alone so I suggested that he eb with us. You don't mind right? Besides, he offered to help us pick a car and get another for us." Xiu Ying looked at her friend. 'Does she like him?' She looked Yifeng up and down. Her gaze held mild dislike, but it left as quickly as it came.

Lu Yifeng felt her gaze on him and inwardly smiled. "It seems like she already has some feelings for me. This may be easier than I thought.' Unfortunately for him and Xiu Ying, he misunderstood her gaze and would have to 'accidentally' meet him more in future. He smiled at her with affection at her, to which she returned politely. Yifeng smiled more. 'Now she is playing hard to get.'

After the smiling contest between them, Xiu Ying was more than happy to leave Yifeng in the name of searching for cars that she likes. She left immediately after, and Li Na signaled him to follow her. Xiu Ying though she had escaped from him, but he was everywhere she was. She had to stop herself multiple times from blowing up on him. His talks were all 'Is it this one you like; I can get it for you' or 'Don't worry it's just a small matter. Leave it to me.' Or 'What if we were to date, this would be e taking you out.'

He was very chatty. Xiu Ying had no other choice but to look for Li Na again just so he could stop talking and to prevent them from being by themselves any further. After a while, she spotted her near a very expensive-looking car. She called out to her. with relief on her face. "Li Na, there you are. Have you found anything yet? I don't want to spend too long here. We still need to see the city."

Xiu Ying then realized she had basically told her plans to someone who she did not want to see any longer. 'This Lu Yifeng is really annoying.' What Xiu Ying didn't know was that even if she didn't say anything, the shameless Yifeng already planned to shamelessly stick to them the whole day.

After numerous pleas from Li Na, Xiu Ying finally agreed to get the Li Na was looking at. The problem again was she already saw a car she liked. Yifeng noticed the look on her face. 'This is my chance.' He tuned to Xiu Ying. I noticed there was a car you were really looking at. I could get that for you. Xiu Ying immediately rejected the idea. "I plan to use my own money to buy my things but thank you Mr. Yifeng for the offer." Lu Yifeng was actually speechless. Li Na knew Xiu Ying's independent nature, so an idea came to her head. The probability of her liking the car Xiu Ying bought was low and she knew it. "Why don't you get your car and Mr. Yifeng can get this for me? I mean if you can offer to buy her a car then I can help her take that offer."

Li Na decided to punish a little bit for not using enough common sense. 'I will also be getting my own car.' She looked at the fuming Yifeng and guilty looking Xiu Ying. In the end, Yifeng agreed and Li Na and Xiu Ying got left the car shop with their own cars. Xiu Ying looked guilty. Li Na consoled her. "It is okay Yang'er. In case either of us are busy, or need to stay behind, it is much more convenient for both of us. Cheer up ah?"

Xiu Ying thought about it and found it reasonable. She finally relaxed and let the matter go. Li Na also had a reason for that. 'My meet ups with Lu Yifeng also needs to be as secret as possible. I also need a car for when I am visiting 'him'.' Again, at the thought of him, she blushed. She then remembered that he came out with a lady, according to Yifeng. She needed to research.
