Everyone has retired to their various rooms for the night, when suddenly there was a loud thud from the next doors neighbour, and there came a hot smashing knocks on the front gigantic doors. Aunt averly and uncle Mason where the first to came downstairs alongside meredith she was always aware of every noise, according to how her parents had taught her. Every sounds attracts attention, over the years those words have proven to be very true.
Everyone of them took harmful weapons behind their backs to smash the person immediately he tries to enter the house. Mason refused to walk forward and lead them to the door, instead aunt averly gathered her self after much argument she led the way to the door, while uncle Mason stood behind meredith waving like a sea shore ready to be blast away by the wailing of the sea.
Carie, Marie and sam remained upstairs sleeping and snoring like dogs without their masters.
As they approached the door aunt averly stopped.
Mason you should open the door then we smash the thieves, she said giving her suggestions.
No I think you should go open the door, while myself and meredith we smash the thieves from behind, uncle Mason argued

Enough both of you, meredith shouted annoyingly. I we open the door then you check before you smash, okay? Meredith asked lining to the door. That sounds like a good idea merri, uncle Mason replied half afraid
Meredith opened the door slowly, uncle Mason and averly almost smashed the person in front of the door, but meredith stopped them on time. She is our neighbour, meredith said covering Mrs cobbs from being smashed by her family.
Am so sorry Mrs cobbs, what brings you here?, it quite late, please come inside. Mrs cobbs was surprised by their reaction, like it didn't seem like they were sad. Mrs cobbs was first given water before she stated her reasons for coming.
Tell me dear, have you watched the news today? Meredith and her uncle and aunt stared at Mrs cobbs anxiously. Nop, are we suppose to watch the news, is it compulsory to watch it? Meredith asked sounding so calm. Oh my dear, you should have today if not other days, she broke into hot raging tears. What's up Mrs cobbs? You are scaring me, I don't like it meredith said worried. I don't think I can say what had happened, please turn on the news station and find out about the UNEXPLAINABLE TRAGEDY.
What TRAGEDY are you talking about Mrs cobbs? Meredith asked. Tears already found their way. Averly took the remote control and switch on the television. The news came crashing.
The NTSB reports a tragic incident as an occurance with the operation of an aircraft that happened between 10pm - 11pm this night with the intention of flying back to Los Angeles but it crashed in the middle of the deep blue sea with no founding survivors. The female reporter explained, meredith stared at the television as if she has never seen it screen before or for a life time.
Oh my gosh, what is she saying? That's a joke right? My parents didn't board that plane, I don't think so, meredith said walking back to the stairs. Thanks for the visit Mrs cobbs but I don't think my parents were arriving today, they are coming tomorrow. Meredith took three steps to the stairs when her auntie's voice trailed her off.
Merri daring, your mom my sister, and your dad boarded that plane coming back to Los Angeles tomorrow. She broke down sobbing softly. What is that suppose to mean? Meredith asked turning to face her aunt and the others. Averly was speechless.
That means their plane crashed into the blue sea, they were in that plane, Mason explained, Mrs cobbs couldn't take it, her husband took that plane too coming back from a big business trip. Oh uncle Mason, save that story for those who gat their family in that plane not me. Meredith stated positively. Could you please explain this to her? Mason said facing Mrs cobbs .
Meredith darling, this is hard to believe but it's still the true. My husband was in that plane coming back from a business trip that we change our lives and so was your parents, that plane was the only plane that was arriving tomorrow by 6:00am in the morning.
Meredith flashed back to what her mom said to her before leaving. Honey our plane arrives 6:00am on Friday, you and your aunt and uncle can come get us at the airport. Meredith came back to reality when carie, Marie, and sam walked downstairs with sleepy groggy eyes walking like a ancient alien.
I really want to believe you, it's tempting but I still don't want to believe that my parents crashed into the blue sea without returning back to me, meredith burst into hot tears, wailing softly.
Wait, what? Who crashed? Am so confused carie said sitting down on the soft cushion behind Mrs cobbs. Oh darling, am so sorry aunt averly ran to meredith, Mrs cobbs was still crying bitterly over her great lost. Mason escorted Mrs cobbs home to her children. Meredith couldn't believe her eyes.
Carie, Marie and sam just stood flabbergasted about what had happened to meredith's parents.
What is gonna happen to meredith now? Marie asked. Guess she we get married sam suggested foolishly.
Her parent were not yet buried they have started talking about marring her off to some family.
Meredith was so sad, chest fallen, woebegone and didn't see life as something useful without her parents in it. To averly and Mason this was a very big opportunity for them to claim her parents property into their name.
Averly had always been jealous of her younger sister, she had a perfect family and a very adorable and beautiful daughter. Every since averly and Caroline were young she had always been jealous and envious of her.
People loved Caroline more than her, she received more gifts from guys and she had numerous and countless admirers, stockers who stock her everywhere she goes to. Averly had to marry Mason because she was pregnant for him while Caroline got married to grey, together they built an empire and established a family business they also introduced meredith to when she turned 18, So to averly Caroline's life was more than perfect and she always wanted to steal that away.
NEXT MORNING.
Meredith refused to come down for breakfast, she stayed in her room through her maid came to come her for breakfast. Averly was so angry when she heard meredith refused to come for breakfast.
There was a heavy knock on meredith's door, that was not eve it was aunt averly knocking like a mad woman. Go away eve, am not hungry, meredith responded to the hard knock. We you open this door this minute? how dare you say you are not hungry? Averly screened mercilessly at the door, meredith walked to the door and opened it. Aunt averly? She asked surprised. Oh no darling, it's your late mom in the blue sea, averly said irritated. Meredith frowned at her aunt staring at her like a miserable bee.
We you go downstairs or should I drag you like a dirty rug? Averly asked pushing meredith from the door. How on heavens name do you expect me to eat when I have lost both my parents? Meredith blured in tears. Oh so sorry darling, but you are not the first to lose both parents neither we you be the last, averly fired back.
What the fuck? You should be mourning right now, she is your younger sister, not eating and squirreling my parents food, meredith yelled, Sam walked to them. Averly slapped meredith across the face, making her hair to fall on her face. Meredith was panting and sobbing softly, Sam took her in his arms, patting her back like a little adorable baby.
You we have to learn some manners young lady, or I we throw you out, averly said angrily. No, am gonna throw you out you indispensable woman, meredith said no mindful of her words. How dare you, little brat, averly replied walking towards meredith. Averly wanted to pull her hair terribly but sam stopped her just in time.
Stop this mom, she just lost her mom and dad, Sam said rubbing meredith's hair like she was his girlfriend or intimate lover. Averly walked away leaving them behind.
Meredith couldn't believe what was happening, she had always knew they were just too good to be true, averly and her mom wasn't that of bestie like sisters would, infact meredith knew of her auntie's behaviour and her envious attitude towards her mom.
Sam removed meredith's hair from covering her face and took her by the wrist leading her to the dinner table. Sam wasn't treating meredith bad because he had always had a huge undieable crush on meredith, it was just too sad meredith was his cousin.
Carie and Marie were fuming uncontrollably when meredith walked in with sam. How dare you talking to mom like that? She is your elder so you should learn to talk to elders. Marie said.
Your mom not mine, you should ask yo....ur mom what she said about my parents ? She is so heartless, and truth be told she had always been so envious and jealous of my mom and dad, meredith said, carie slapped meredith across her face, meredith slapped carie twice on the face.
Don't you dare raise your fucking hands to slapped me, get ready all of you and get out of my house, meredith said angrily walking back to the stairs Masons voice stopped her on her trail.
You we be the one leaving very soon merri darling, am waiting for the right time to propose a marriage to the Eleanor family. So be prepared my beautiful darling Mason replied. In your dreams uncle, I want everyone out of my house once my parents bodies have been found. Meredith said walking out of the dinner table.
