Within a few minutes, we pull up to a secluded little cabin almost teetering on the edge of a cliff face. Picturesque yet quaint, it's certainly the type of place you would love to experience. "It's not much, but it's my home. The one thing I've made for myself, without Amanda's interference. I figured you'd want to see it, and yes -- I know it's small. If you have a problem with it, feel free to go and stay with her." Gomez huffs, jumping out of the truck and stomping around.

"I love it." I beam, squeezing out of the truck and grabbing my bags from the back. "You have a lovely home, Hector. Thanks for having me." Gomez seems to drop the hard man attitude in that very moment, releasing a heavy sigh. Although I'm the one who deals with the brunt of his anger, I know a little tact can instantly make him snap out of his negativity.
