Hia Win 101

Team wakes up to an empty bed, he rubs his eyes as he sits up. No noises from the bathroom, he checks the time 7:27am. Where is Hia? He wakes up reluctantly and heads to the bathroom, deciding to have a shower while his up. After brushing his teeth and showering, he heads straight to the fridge. "Hmm, nothing in here." He opens the cupboards hoping to find one of the instant noodle packs he hides all over his room, nothing. Sighing he grabs Wins room key and decides that he will go and raid Hia's kitchen. He also promises himself that he will go shopping with Win next time instead of being lazy. He is also kind of broke, spending his whole monthly budget on a bar tab. He doesn't tell Win this, he doesn't want to make him feel bad. He can just sponge off him for food the rest of the month. The downside to this is there's no chips, he can survive a few days he thinks sadly.

Win walks in and sees Team standing at the cupboard looking like the world dropped on top of him. "What's wrong? Are you okay? You don't look okay at all." Win becomes concerned and rushes over to Team.

"Nothing Hia, just realized that my chips stash is all finished."

Win shakes his head, thinking that he misheard, "So you look like someone just died because your chips is finished?" Team nods his head pouting, looking at the ground sadly. Win flicks his forehead, hard.

"Ow Hia, what the hell?" He rubs his forehead with the back of his hand.

"I was worried thinking something is really wrong, why are you such a fool?" Win knows that by now when it comes to Team and his snacks he should not be surprised but he is still annoyed at the lunatic he calls his boyfriend. For a moment his heart was racing thinking that something bad had happened.

"Sorry Hia." Team tilts his head to the side and puckers his lips to Win.

Win bends down and kisses his boyfriends lips lightly, smiling at how cute he is. This has been their whole relationship, he cannot stay annoyed because every little thing Team does is so extremely adorable. Win cups Teams face and plants another soft kiss on his forehead, closing his eyes for a moment to savor the moment, also to shy away from the fact that he is completely whipped at this point and not wanting Team to see his expression, knowing he will definitely get teased. Team steps back, his eyes closed but the biggest smile on his face, he opens his eyes and looks at Win, his eyes shining.

"What's that smell Hia, did you buy me food?" licking his lips, he holds out his hand for the packet in Wins hand.

"Umm, I bought you food, there was nothing in this room to make for you so I went out and got you some. Win hand him the packet and he immediately takes out 2 plates and starts unpacking the food, He sets the table and sits down, looking up at Win.

"Are you not gonna eat? Hurry, I'm so hungry." Gesturing for Win to sit.

"Win sits down and reaches over and ruffles his hair, "You really are the cutest." Team gives him a I know smile and digs in. "So I was thinking since there is nothing in your room, I will take you to get groceries today. My room already has stuff but we should stock up this place too." Team fidgets with his fork, Win is eyeing him carefully, waiting for the excuses that he will no doubt make.

The other day when they were at swim practice he went to the ABC gang to give them back the money they had spent at the bar they informed him that Team had taken care of it. Team however didn't say a thing to him. A few days later when he was adding the washing to the machine and checking the pockets, he had found receipt. He almost choked, that was a lot to spend on just one night, they had been drinking exclusive alcohol though so it made sense. Win also knew that the bill was probably most of what Team had in his bank account, so he was waiting to see how far Team would take this. To his surprise Team never said a word to him or anyone for that matter, he knows because he had already asked Pharm. He had been giving Team money everyday to buy him a coffee and keep the change, this they did even before they became boyfriends so Team wasn't suspicious. This way he had ensured that Team had money everyday if he wanted something but still he said nothing and never asked Win for anything.

"Hia, I'm almost finished and you haven't even started eating yet. What are you thinking about?"

"Nothing, you haven't answered my question, shall we go shopping today?" Win raises an eyebrow.

"Not today Hia, I just want to relax. This is our day off and you want to do chores? Lets just go relax in your room, there is enough food in there, we will go another time." Team nods his head, almost patting himself on the back thinking he had escaped. Although he has a rich boyfriend, he is still independent. Win already takes good care of him, there is nothing that he is lacking so once in a while it feels nice knowing he can do something regarding money for Win, even if he doesn't know it. He looks up and sees Win glaring at him. He swallows and for some reason he starts to feel a bit nervous under the icy stare. A, Bee and Sea weren't lying when they said Wins gaze can cause glaciers to form. "Something wrong Hia?"

"I will give you another chance to answer me, why don't you want to go shopping? There is nothing here, not even chips!" Team looks nervous, Win can feel his chest constrict but he stands his ground, hoping that Team will know that he is serious. "Please remember before you answer that you are talking me, you cant lie to me. When it comes to you, there is nothing that I don't know."

Team comes up with another excuse but thinks again, playing back the words Win just said, "you cant lie to me." He sighs and looks at Win again, "Uh fine, I don't have money for groceries. Are you happy now?"

"And why is that?" Wins voice is calm and even, not letting his boy know exactly how annoyed he really is. Annoyed because he is always like this, always giving everything and never asking for anything even if it was not his doing. Win and Team have made so much progress in their relationship but when it comes to certain things, Team is still reluctant when it comes to him, especially when it comes to finances. Win softens his gaze, realizing his approach is wrong, "Ai Team, I know that you are your own person but you should not be responsible for someone else's doing, especially if you putting yourself in the red, even if its for me. You know that I respect you and I love you very much, it would have been a different story if you spent the money on you but you didn't, you should not be responsible for what Dean, P'Phruek and I do." Win reaches across the table and holds Teams hand, "If I completely blacked out that night, would you have even told me?"

"No Hia." Win looks kind of hurt, "Its not that I was starving and had nothing, if I was really in trouble I would come to you Hia, I promise. Its just that you always take care of me and for once I got to do something for you financially. I don't have a lot but like you, I also want to give you the world, spoil you, take care of you, it shouldn't only be you Hia. The reason I didn't tell you is because sometimes you have to let people take care of you too." Team squeezes Wins hand.

Win watches as Team crawls over to him and kisses his cheek. He pulls Team in for a hug, "When you bring me water everyday during practice, making me coffee when I'm studying, making sure I eat every night even when we aren't together, holding me when I'm tired, picking me up from the university when I have to work late because you're scared I'm too tired and have to ride my bike home, caring for me when I'm sick, all these things are you taking care of me. I can list a hundred more ways you take care of me. I am not okay if you are not okay. Even if you don't have something as stupid as chips, I'm not okay because you don't have what you love. You made me a promise that you will let me take care of you forever, I plan to do exactly that, so going forward I need you to promise that you will never do this again. In order for me to be happy, you have to have everything." Win leans his back and looks down at his boyfriend who is smiling shyly.

"I remember there was a time when I called you unromantic. Thank you Hia, for loving me." Team rests his forehead against Wins, he closes his eyes and makes a mental note to add this to his list, "Hia Win 101'. He wakes up and puts out his hand, "Its still pretty early, I think we should go back to bed." He wiggles his eyebrows letting Win know exactly what he means by "Lets go back to bed." Win just smiles and shakes his head. He takes his boyfriend hand and wakes up, pulling Team in for a deep passionate kiss before "going back to bed."
