1 First Meeting

"Life is unpredictable so we should move on with our present lives" thought to herself when Shen Rushi was waiting for her marriage partner whom her parents had arranged for her.

After 5 minutes Shen Rushi noticed that the gentleman whom her blind date to be came near her and introduced himself "Hello, I am Mu Xingcheng.Nice to meet you."

Shen Rushi was surprised to see that the partner arranged by her parents was a handsome man with politeness and gentleness.

Shen Rushi smiled politely and introduced herself, "Hello, I am Shen Rushi. Nice to meet you too".

Mu Xingcheng smiled politely and stared at Shen Rushi for 2 seconds. He can tell that Shen Rushi has a very good facial features such as small eyes, not too long or short nose, cherry lips which had a faint smile as always.

At the same time Shen Rushi also noticed Mu Xingcheng is staring at her. Feeling awkward Shen Rushi returned her gaze to outside where some birds where singing beautifully.

Breaking the silence Mu Xingcheng asked her ,"What would you like to drink?",She replied "It's okay, I don't like to drink tea or coffee". Noding to her reply Mu Xingcheng ordered a cup coffee.

Without beating around the bush Mu Xingcheng directly asked her, "I think Miss.Shen knows why we both are here"

Shen Rushi smiled and replied, "Yes,Mr.Mu I know and also I want to say something if we are proceeding with our marriage."

Mu Xingcheng stared at her for a while and opened his mouth "I am not going to go back on this marriage proposal, If Miss. Shen don't like me you can tell me directly so that I can tell our parents that we are not suitable and break our marriage propsal."

Shen Rushi was surprised by his answer and suddenly she said "It's not that I don't like Mr.Mu". A smile crept on Mu Xingcheng's face when he heard that and he suddenly asked "So Miss.Shen likes me".

Feeling embarrassed, Shen Rushi suddenly opened her mouth to clarify his misunderstanding "No Mr.Mu, It's not like that..It's just that I want to tell you about my past love life before we get married."

Mu XingCheng nodded his head in understanding and said "So it's like that. Miss.Shen everyone has a past so don't worry I am not such a petty guy to hold on about your past".

Shen Rushi smiled at his reply and continued ,"Nothing special, I had been in a relationship for 2 years in past but we couldn't continue our relationship because of certain situations in his family."

Mu Xingcheng listened to Shen Rushi and replied her "Me too had a relationship in the past. But past is past. I wish Miss.Shen will also take it in same way."

Shen Rushi nodded her head in understanding.
