20 Friend's Brother.

Author's POV :

                (Next morning)

At Lee Residence :

                          Next day came, Shen spent the night at the hospital. He came back to his house in early morning to go to University there were some certain matters that had to be solved. He came back parked his bike tossed the keys to one of the guards and went straight in. Lian was sitting in the main sitting hall on the sofa, apparently waiting for his younger brother. Shen saw Lian, he went upto him.

Shen :"Ge! What are you doing sitting here all alone?"

Lian :"Oh! Shen you're back. I was waiting for you. I have something to talk to you"

Shen :"Let me get changed then we can have our talk"

Lian :"Hmm!"

Shen went upstairs to his room. Changed his clothes, picked his bag from the sofa and came down. One of the servants were standing at the end of the stairs, he gave the bag to the servant and went to the dining room, sat on his chair beside Lian. A maid was placing the breakfast on the table. Lian gestured the servants to leave and all of them left the room.

Lian :"So, How is Yeon?"

Shen :"He's fine now"

Lian :"Did they find out who did it?"

Shen :"Not yet!"

Lian :"Hmm!.... You too take care of yourself."

Shen :"Hmm"

Lian :"I want to ask something."

Silence.....

......

......

......

Shen :"So....."

Lian :"Ah! Yes! I have a favour to ask. Actually I want your help"

Shen had started eating by now.

Shen :"I'm listening"

Lian :"So, the thing is that you have to look after someone... Akihiko"

At the mention of Akihiko , his movements halted for a split second and then he continued with his impassive look.

Shen :"Why would I do that?"

Lian :"He's a nice boy. He's in some kind of problem."

'He's in problem or he is bieng a problem' - Shen.

Lian :"You met his brother last night."

Shen :"Yifeng?"

Lian :"Oye! He's elder than you show some respect."

Shen just shrugged his shoulders.

'Sometimes it is hard for even me to understand him *Sigh*' - Lian.

Lian :"Someone is trying to hurt him"

Shen :"Who's trying to hurt him?."

'I know I don't trust him and that are my personal issues but I don't want anyone to hurt him' - Shen.

'I thought you weren't interested ' - Lian.

Lian :"I don't know! Maybe if you look after him, you'll be able to find out."

Shen :"Ah--"

Lian :"Please Shen ! Yifeng really asked for my help with so much hope."

Shen :"He asked for your help not mine. This matter doesn't concern me"

Lian :"She--"

Shen stood up from his chair.

And started walking out of the room.

Shen :"I'll consider it"

Lian :"Really! You are the best than--"

Shen turned around.

Shen :"Don't become too excited I said I'll consider, I didn't promise anything"

Shen once again turned towards the door.

Lian :"That is good enough. Now you should go. Bye"

Shen waved his hand without turning and went out.

Wang Fie :"Xiao Ye! Would you like to go by your bike."

Shen :"Not today. Get the car ready."

Fie nodded and went out. The servant from earlier came with Shen's bag. Shen took the bag, gave a slight bow and went out. Into the car and off they go.

At Tanaka's residence :

                              Yifeng was the first to wake up. Hiko was sleeping soundly in Anjie's lap. He got out of the bed. Anjie woke up by the creeking of the wooden floor.

Anjie :"You're awake"

She said while putting Hiko's head on the pillow.

Yifeng :"Hmm!.... Let's go out."

Anjie :"But if he wakes up..."

Yifeng :"He'll be much more relaxed if he wakes up and we are not here, he doesn't want us to worry. So it's better to leave."

Anjie nodded and they got out of the room.

They went downstairs and both sat in the lounge.

Anjie :"I'm worried. Should we perhaps tell Uncle and Aunt."

Yifeng :"He definitely would not approve of that."

Anjie :"But--"

Yifeng :"I've asked a friend to help. Let's see what happens"

Anjie :Who!? "

Yifeng :" He was my senior in the Uni. His younger brother is going to the same Uni as Hiko. So I asked for his help."

Yifeng's thoughts wondered of to the meeting at the cafe.

Lian :" You should worry less or you'll get old early "

Yifeng :" I'm not worried, more like I'm scared. This time I managed to stop it but what about the next time. What if I fail to protect him just like last time."

Lian :"You didn't fail. You protected him. But you bieng scared is valid too."

Yifeng :"What do I do. I can't accompany him everywhere or even to the Uni, which is currently the most dangerous place."

Lian :"You can't.... But.... Maybe someone can."

Yifeng :"Who? (Lian smiled) You mean Shen?"

Liam :"Yup. Totally perfect for the job"

Yifeng :"But what if he finds out that Akihiko is Akia"

Lian :"Is his protection your priority or trying to hide the fact that he is Akia?"

Yifeng :"Shen it is!"

Lian :"OK! I'll ask him the first chance I get."

Yifeng :"Now that we had our breakfast. I think we should head back"

Lian :"So soon"

Yifeng :"It's already past noon"

Lian :"With you I can't keep the check on time."

Yifeng :"Wh--What?"

Lian :"Let's go!"

They went out. Yifeng stood beside the road. Lian signaled Fie who was standing at a distance to get the car. He nodded and left. Lian walked to Yifeng.

Lian :"Want a ride?"

Yifeng :"Ah! No I'm fine. I have to pick my car from the Uni"

Lian :"Oh! I didn't knew you became poor without me."

Yifeng :"Huh!?"

Lian :"You only have one car and now you are waiting for a taxi"

Yifeng :"Oh! Come on. It's not like that. It's just that I have a grip on that car. I can drive it easily as for Akihiko, he doesn't know how to drive."

Lian :"So how about I take you to the Uni"

'Arguing with this guy will only give headache. I should accept his offer' - Yifeng.

Yifeng :"OK! I'm all yours"

Lian's eyes widened. As for Yifeng he didn't even realise what he had just said. The car had came to them and Yifeng was already getting on.

'What does that mean?' - Lian.

Yifeng :"Aren't you getting on?"

Lian walked and entered the car and sat on the front seat.

They reached the Uni.Lian bid him and went back. Yifeng stood in front of the Uni.

His phone beeped. It was Akihiko's message telling him not to wait for him. After a small talk. He placed his phone back.

*Sigh*

"I should have stayed with him a little while more."

He got into his car and went home.

Anjie :"Would he agree!?"

Yifeng :"What? Who?"

Anjie :"Your Friend's Younger Brother?"

Yifeng :"That I still don't know"

Akihiko :"Shijie~~~~"

Hiko came down yawning and rubbing his eyes.

Anjie :"Hiko! Did you wash up"

He nodded.

Yifeng :"It's nearly Uni's time. Let's eat then I'll drop you."

Akihiko :"OK"

Anjie :"By the way Good luck for today."

Akihiko :"Why? What's so special about today?"

Akihiko said tilting his head slightly.

Yifeng wanted to really hit him on his head, so his poor memory will get better but he feared that it will become worse so he refrained himself.

Anjie :"Hiko! Autograph signing ceremony"

Akihiko :"Oh!!!!"

Yifeng :"Yes! Oh!!!!"

Akihiko :"That sounded quite sarcastic"

Yifeng :"It was"

Akihiko :"Wey!! Don't mess with me. I'm not in the mood."

Anjie :"Alright! Alright! You're both  pretty. Ladies!! . Can we eat now?"

"Ladies!?"

Yifeng :"She called you that, for sure"

Akihiko :"But it's you who sounds like a nagging Lady or worse granny"

Yifeng :"Hiko--"

Anjie :"OK! Before you two start fighting again let's go and eat."

They headed towards the breakfast table. Ate in peace or rather bickering. Yifeng went out, a servant gave him car keys. Akihiko bid a goodbye to his Shijie and went out.

He sat inside the car beside Yifeng.

'Let's see what today holds for me' - Akihiko.
