Murder a few characters

The sound of the music from the club drifted to the V.I.P. section; it was a Friday night, and the boys spent it hanging out together. Declan leaned on his chair with a glass of whiskey. He twirled the whiskey in the cup, before taking a sip.

He sighed, "I'm just tired of Fiona's attitude towards me. I have told her over a million times that we are over, but she does not understand that."

Chris chuckled, also taking a deep sip of his whiskey too. "That is because you indulged her little too much when you were dating, now she feels like she is so special to you."

Declan couldn't argue that. When he was dating Fiona, the fact that she was a family friend's daughter made him treat her more special than he did most of his exes. That had made her act the way she did, and he had vowed never to date anyone so close to his family again.

Alex frowned at them both, "I already told you, Declan. I can help you get rid of her completely."

Declan glared at Alex, "Don't even think about it, Alex. Don't make your famous move on her."

Alex smiled, glanced at Chris, and winked, "I won the bet, Chris. Pay up, immediately. I'm sure you have my details with you.

Declan dropped his whiskey and sat up. His gaze moved between his two best friends, and he groaned. "Don't tell me you guys made another bet about me again?"

Chris smiled and nodded, "And because of you, I just lost a thousand dollars. Be glad I am in a good mood to let it off." He smirked at Alex, "I will send your money now, Asshole."

Alex grinned in return.

"What!" Declan exclaimed in surprise, "What did you bet on?"

Alex leaned on his seat, his lips moved in a smirk. "You are predictable, Declan. I told Chris that regardless of how hurt you were about Fiona, you still care about her?"

He frowned, "I don't care about her the way you think. I just can't let her into your arms."

Alex frowned, and glanced at his said arms, "Why? They are sturdy arms." He let out a chuckle.

Chris shook his head at him. "They are sturdy when you want to hold, but very willing to let go when you are bored."

Chris laughed, remembering his arm holding a beautiful lady earlier in the day. Was it Sheila? Her name? He had gone to help his cousin pick up a dress. He didn't want to go but she forced him, and now he was grateful he had gone there. He was glad that he was able to get her contact information.

Alex stared at Chris with one brow arched perfectly, "What are you smiling about? Are you that happy to lose the bet?"

Chris shook his head, "Shut up, Asshole. I'm surely going to win the next bet."

Declan shook his head, "You are not allowed to bet about my life anymore."

Alex chuckled, "What's the fun if I can't make myself extra buck from this pig head?" He stood up suddenly. "I'm getting bored over here. I'm going to go dance."

Declan smiled, "You are going to dance, or you are going to get laid. Start using the right terms for your endeavors."

Alex shrugged, "It's all the same." He smirked, "It's not my fault that the ladies can't resist this." He pointed at his body, all toned, with tattoos peeping from his sleeve and neck. To every tattoo on his body, there was a reason and a story. To Alex, his body was a canvas to design his most special moments. He glanced at Chris, "Do you care for some ladies? I can make it work."

Chris took a sip from his whiskey. Normally, he would have willingly followed Alex to the dance floor, but his mind was on a certain blonde. He picked up his phone and smiled at Chris awkwardly, "I think I am fine, I will pass tonight."

Declan and Alex exchanged looks. Declan frowned, "Are you okay, Chris? Did something happen?"

Chris glanced at his friends who wore a worried, confused expression. He arched a brow, "Is it strange that I don't want a strange lady grinding on me?"

Declan nodded. "It's very strange." He smiled suddenly, "Don't tell me you are in love again."

Alex and Declan exchanged looks, and suddenly burst into laughter. They clutched their stomach and laughed out not caring about who heard. Luckily, they were the only ones in the V.I.P. section. Chris stared at his friends open-mouthed. He smiled a bit, "You guys are bullies."

Alex sighed, "Man, how many times is that this year? I think you need to be a character in my book."

Alex was a celebrity author, who was famously known for his work, and had a large fan base. Some of his fans had taken to writing fan-fictions from his work.

"Don't you dare make me a character in your book! You psychopath." Chris scolded. "You are used to killing off all your characters, and I won't appreciate dying young. Not even in a book."

"What's the fun, if one can't murder a few characters?"

Declan shook his head and stood up. "I'll follow you to the dance floor. I think I need to get laid."

Alex's lips expanded into a full grin. He hugged Declan and dragged him out of the V.I.P section. Chris shook his head at them and decided to call the beautiful blonde he had met earlier that day.

The smell of sweat and different body fragrant almost made Declan spew out. He almost regretted leaving the comfort of his V.I.P. section and following Alex on the hunt for a girl to bang. He could have easily sat there and gotten a girl to satisfy his need, but he needed a distraction from his thoughts.
