I absolutely loved the book. It's a story of love, friendship, and trust, amidst lies, jealousy, betrayal and violence. The FL Zhao Lifei is a force to be reckoned with, but she goes through a lot of betrayal and hard times before she reaches that point in her life. She loves fiercely and stubbornly and for sometime that was her greatest flaw. She's burned before but it's from those same ashes that she rises as a Phoenix. The ML Yang Feng is the overbearing, over protective and possessive Alpha male (aka Demon king) that readers love to read about. Cold and aloof to the world but one gaze from his beloved melts the ice in his heart. He protects and cares for those he loves (even if he vehemently denies, hehe). With his persistence and patience he breaks down the walls around ZLs heart one by one. The power couple form a team that nobody can defeat. Together they solve the mysteries of the past and the threats of the future. They aren't perfect but they undergo a lot of developments and compromises to be perfect for each other. Their chemistry together is heart palpitating. The relationship between ZL and her best friend Yang Ruqin is so strong and sweet. They're like sisters who always have each other's backs. The side character stories are interesting too. There are a lot of funny moments in this book where you will laugh out loud and there are also times where you are so angry at the characters that you will want to enter the book and bash them (I could only settle with ranting many times in the comment section). The bountiful dog food will make you go "awwee" and those hot and steamy moments will make you go "oooohhh". I loved the character developments as well as the character redemptions throughout the book. The pace of the story is fine and the grammar is good. There are enough twists and mysteries which will leave the reader wanting for more. I would definitely recommend readers to give this book a chance, you won't be disappointed.

Petition for Lian Fulei and Lu Minhong story .... please. I want to know more about them. Especially, how they were able to clear misunderstanding.

This is a really great book I love the story lines and the character development I love the way that you can't predict anything which will happen in the future of the story it overall has the best explanation plots and twists

Nice to see that author sama is willing to explore this angle as well... personally speaking I love LGBTQ romances. I would love it if he manages to get all the characters together at the end. Wishful thinking...!!!

The storyline is about a strong woman character who can hold the world on her own with her abilities. I like the way author has evolved the story around her and how she gets mature in handling her relationships. Every chapter adds a new shade to the story.
