Chapter 1: Reborn?
Screeeechhhh!!! Bang!!!! Being hit by a car is so damn painful. Who wouldn't feel pain in this kind of situation? But there's an even more painful thing, and that is- Dying. In the last moment of my consciousness, I only felt regret and rage. Regret, because I disappointed my own family, and rage, because I was so stupid. Reminiscing on my memories, I felt my eyes being filled with tears.
Lying on the blood-soaked floor, my consciousness is gradually fading away. Suddenly, there was a heart-crashing shout from a distance that can make a person who hears it feel an unimaginable pain. Oh? it seems there's a person even more miserable than I am. The shout from the person is getting nearer and I can hear it clearly shouting "Anastasia". Wait! Anastasia?! Isn't that my name?! Hearing the voice, all other thoughts are immediately thrown away because I don't know why I suddenly feel pain and guilt towards it. I know I heard this voice somewhere and I wanted to see the person, but I can no longer open my eyes nor can I feel anything. I can only regret not seeing the owner of that voice.
Anastasia woke up in tears. She slowly opens her eyes and immediately got a shock that made her blank for a full one minute. The familiar walls, ceilings, curtains, tables, and all the other things surrounding her made her think that she's in a dream. She laughs mockingly at herself. "Hah dare to dream of your once beautiful life, you should be ashamed".
The door opened with a bang. "Anastasia Heartfillia Monarch Luckster! I'm telling you young lady, you cannot be together with that ugly, black-hearted, arroga- ". The one who opened the door subconsciously stopped his word and slowly widened his eyes in shock.
"Bro-brother?", Anastasia cautiously asked, a slight tremble can be heard in her tone. She was so shocked. This is a dream right? I was in an accident! I saw my body so wrecked, I can't be alive! She tried to pinch herself and got pain in reflex. Oh this is not a dream! But before she can mull over why she's still alive, the stunned brother of his snapped out in reality and immediately came over asking in distress, "Shasha what happened?! why are you crying? Tell brother what's wrong?" Only now did she realize that she still hadn't wiped her tears from when she woke up. Hearing that familiar nickname and seeing her brother who is so full of energy and is obviously healthy, she subconsciously cried her heart out leaving her brother stunned into position once again.
This brother of his is named Leonardo Luckster. In her last life, he tried to talk me out of chasing Andrew, the man who I blindly chased. Every time he talked me out of chasing Andrew, I feel disappointment thinking that my brother doesn't support my decision and that he doesn't want me to be happy and I feel angry towards him. Looking back at it now, I really am so stupid, so naïve. Obviously my brother is caring towards me and he loves me.
Leonardo is feeling confused of the situation he is in now. His sister is an arrogant and willful person and he never saw her cry since she was 14. Watching his sister hugging him and crying, he suddenly had an urge to kill the person who made this strong-willed sister of his cry. "Shasha stop crying. Tell brother what he did to you and I will make him pay!" As for how he knew that the person is a 'he', humph! Who other than that shrewd Andrew who seduced his sister can make this sister of his out of character? Humph! She even blindly confessed to him in public and shamelessly sent flowers and whatnot. Now thinking about it makes him angry. Wait, isn't this why he came here this morning? But seeing her sister wiping her tears, he felt helpless and distressed.
Leonardo is still coaxing his sister when a voice that sounds like thunder accompanied by a shrill shout made the siblings subconsciously turn around facing the door where the sound came from. A smack immediately hit Leonardo and John Luckster, the father of the siblings and the CEO of the Luckster Company, scolded this son of his. "You, brat! What did you do to your sister?! Lucy Monarch Luckster, the mother of the siblings and the greatest designer of the famous clothing brand, Monarchy, was shocked and angry with his son for making her daughter cry. "Leonardo, I didn't raise you like this. How can you make your sister cry? You- John! Look what your son did? What is he learning in the company?"
Leonardo felt so wronged. He looked at Anastasia who was struck dumb by the conversation between their parents and couldn't help feeling helpless. Their parents are really...(sigh). Finally, Anastasia snapped out of reality and immediately spoke. "Mom, Dad, brother did not do anything wrong. In fact, I- "

But the family of three was hesitant about this idea because of Anastasia's seriousness. Lucy seriously asked, "Tell mother what this nightmare is about."
Anastasia looked at her mom and the two men behind and took a deep breath. She hesitated for a moment, lowered her head and slowly said, "It's nothing serious mom, it's just that... in that dream, I died... I did many unforgivable things and I involved you into it, making you suffer. In that dream before I died, I felt extreme sadness, rage and regret. i can't help but cry."
