Natalie slowly blinked her eyes open to a bright sunny spring day, she smiled when she realized she was cradled in the warmth of her husband's arms for a short moment until she remembered what he had done the night before.

"Are you still faking it?" The sleepiness in her voice stripped away any trace of sarcasm.

Alonso lay beside her breathing deeply and appearing as innocent as an angel, which he certainly wasn't. She frowned when he remained motionless then nestled herself closer to him feeling his steady heartbeat against her shoulder.

"It's interrogation time, Alonso Valois." She snapped her fingers in his face a couple of times.

Alonso scrunched his face in his sleep, his arms holding her even tighter. She reached for his ear toying with it until he stirred, his eyes slowly opening. A lazy grin spread across his face as he caught Natalie looking at him.

"Good morning, baby girl."
