21 Chapter 21: Girl's Night

"Mr. Luo!" a man in his fifties dressed in a suit and tie with his secretary approached the table where the two men were already sitting. One was the CEO of C.L Group and the other was the director of C.L Group. They both stood up and shook hands with the man.

"Mr. Frank, we were waiting for you," Luo Yuan announced as he gestured to him to sit on the chair in front of him. And his secretary sat on another chair.

"Assieds-toi" Luo Yuan spoke in french which means ( take a seat). Mr. Frank cleared his throat and looked at Mr. Luo Yuan with a nod.

"You speak French well. For a minute I forgot that you are a Chinese man," Mr. Frank stated as he sat down and folded his hands together on top of the desk.

"Thank you for your compliments Mr. Frank," Luo Yuan replied with a polite smile.

"Let's get down to business first shall we" Luo Yuan questioned him as he opened his folder and passed it to Mr. Frank, who picked it up and skimmed the contents.

"Tell me, why I should collaborate with you," Mr. Frank asked and placed the document on the table again.

"As you know, we are the top cosmetic brand in china. Our products are highly bought here. And your company is top rated in the fashion industry. We want to promote our culture, our beauty, and our lifestyle to the world. Now we want to become top-rated in the beauty industry. This can only be done by collaborating with your company," Mr. Luo Yuan said in a firm tone. Mr. Frank narrowed his eyes and glanced at Luo Yuan.

"I like your courage and determination. You are the first one who has dared to stand up to us. Your boldness and courage are appreciated."

"Thank you for your kind words, Mr. Frank," Luo Yuan thanked him.

"What about the guarantee of success? Do you think you can achieve this success?" Mr. Frank asked as he stared at Luo Yuan intently.

"Yes, we are confident that we can reach our goals," Luo Yuan assured confidently with a smile plastered on his face.

Mr. Frank nodded in approval before continuing, "I was just like you, young man."

"So, will you agree to collaborate with us?" Luo Yuan asked in anticipation.

"What are your goals, young man? I am listening," Mr. Frank replied in anticipation as well.

"First of all, we are launching our most highly anticipated collection next month in the fall. It will consist of all makeup products; high-coverage foundation, concealer, eyeshadow palette, lipstick, liquid blush, mascara, and so on. Our collection is for all those women out there struggling with finding some beauty products to enhance their Beauty. For this we want to use your clothing collection to enhance our beauty products as well as our message across the world," Luo Yuan explained.

"That sounds interesting," Mr. Frank replied as he leaned back in his chair and crossed his legs. He looked at Luo Yuan and gave him a genuine smile as extended his hand toward him.

"Looking forward to working together with you young man," Mr. Frank expressed his gratitude.

The rest of the meeting consisted of Mr. Luo explaining their plans and the collaboration project and the progress they made throughout the year thus far, as well as some of the recent events. 

After a discussion with his team, it came to the final decision to collaborate with them. After discussing with Luo Yuan and Mr. Frank concluded their meeting by signing the collaboration contract.

"Mr.Frank, see you at the weekend for our event," Luo Yuan thanked him.

"Of course," Mr.Frank replied, giving him a handshake. And with that, he left with his secretary leaving Luo Yuan and Cheng Liang standing alone.

"We should hold a party for this!" Cheng Liang 

 exclaimed excitedly while putting his right hand on Luo Yuan's shoulder.

"You enjoy the party by yourself, I would like to stay at home," Luo Yuan declined his offer by removing his hand from his shoulder.

"You are such a boring person," Cheng Liang scoffed in annoyance. Luo Yuan rolled his eyes.

"Whatever," Luo Yuan replied as he walked ahead of Cheng Liang leaving him behind.

Li Xia got out of the cab which stopped at the entrance of her best friend's apartment. She didn't go home because she didn't want to face Luo Yuan. As soon as she saw him she was reminded of the things that happened that night.

She went inside the apartment complex and headed to the elevator. When the elevator reached its floor, she got off and walked towards her friend's apartment. Upon arriving at her door she rang the bell. A few minutes later she finally opened the door. 

"What happened?" Jing Xing asked with a concerned expression as she opened the door. She could see Li Xia's low spirit and sad aura around her.

Li Xia sighed heavily as she went inside the apartment after closing the door. She plopped on the couch with a defeated expression on her face. Jing Xi followed her and sat beside her.

"Do you want to talk about your problems with a can of beer or a glass of wine?" She asked.

Li Xia shook her head in no response.

"Don't talk about that darn thing," she murmured, still keeping her eyes focused on the ceiling.

"Why? why? Have you done something stupid by getting drunk?" Jing Xi inquired. Her best friend shrugged her shoulders while sighing sadly.

"Not a stupid thing, but a most embarrassing thing," Li Xia pouted while tilting her head in the direction of Jing Xi.

Yes, it was an embarrassing thing. First, she spilled champagne on Luo Yuan's suit. Then she kissed him while drunk and now she ruined his suit by puking on it. What a mess she had gotten herself into.

I want to update it daily so that you guys can read and enjoy it. But I am not feeling good since yesterday. Not even been able to write anything. My head is a mess right now. It's kinda hard to deal with stress and depression sometimes. Today I gathered up my courage and started writing a chapter about this morning. And it was just completed now at night, so I decided to upload it. Thank you for reading my story, for loving it, and for supporting it. My story is may not good like other stories but I trying my best to show a great story. If I felt better will do an update and if not then see you next week or next, next week.
