The Romans glared at Eve's back as she walked out on them when dinner wasn't over. Mr Roman muttered low profanity under his breath, he knew that this daughter of his would kill him one day and that day was getting closer and closer.

"Does she normally behave like this?" Mr Calhoun was forced to ask. He needed to know the character of his bride-to-be before taking her home. He needed a young pretty wife who would always listen to him and do as he pleases not one he would have a hard time controlling.

Mrs Roman cleared her throat and sat up, "No Mr Calhoun, Eve doesn't normally behave like this. I believe she'd an emergency that's why she left abruptly." The meaning of her words to them was that Genevieve got her monthly visitor and decided to leave the dining don without alerting any of them.

Mr Calhoun nodded, "If you place it like that. But I have a request though." He added.

Mr Roman's head snapped up instantly, "What request?"
