It had been three months since I had arrived in this world. After arriving here I inherited a nearly bankrupt company from my former self's deceased mother.
After inheriting the company first thing I had to do was to clean it since it was important. This whole company was corrupted to the core. This process would have taken me a long time if it wasn't for Uncle Sam introducing me to Serena.
Serena is amazing and That's everything that can describe her. She is simply amazing. She is so efficient and hard-working that I could do whatever I wanted to because I knew she was handling the company very well and above all, I can fully trust her.
I will always be grateful to Uncle Sam for introducing her to me. Uncle Sam was of course the person I trusted the most. Maybe my former self memories had influenced me but my trust for him was genuinely mine.
After the cleaning up was done now I needed funds to run my company and the best way to do that was to produce a movie and sell some scripts.
I didn't want to sell any script from my previous world because I was afraid that these legendary movies might end up being flops in this world. I wanted to recreate movies from my previous world but I didn't just want to copy them scene by scene. I wanted them to be better than they originally were.
I chose <Little Miss Sunshine> as my first movie because it had a low budget and high returns. Even though this movie's budget was just 8 million dollars but it was so well made that it earned more than $100 million in my previous world.
I had always thought that if this movie had more budget then it surely would've been way better and now that I had a chance to recreate it I will surely spend more money on it But to spend more money I needed more money but then I discovered a new aspect of my ability. I somehow figured out that I can watch the memories of other people from my previous world. What I got from those memories was the script for the <Toy Story>. At first, I thought I will be able to get quick cash from it but what I got offered were the shares of an animation studio. Even though I wanted funds but I still accepted the shares because I thought this way I will have certain control over the production of the <Toy Story) and that way I will be able to ensure its quality.
Now with <Toy Story> sold I still had a problem with funds. That's when I came up with an idea. I wrote the script of the <Mad Max>.
In my previous world, it was an Australian movie produced in the late 1970s. When I wrote the script for it, I mor\den it quite a bit. I had changed its setting from Australia to the USA and now it was set in recent years.
I sold it to John Bairstow. He is a good director in this world and had made a name for himself. But I didn't sell the rights of this movie completely to him. Because in the future, I will reboot this movie with <Mad Max: Fury Road> for sure. If he makes the first three <Mad Max> movies good then it will be great And even if it is just mediocre I still want to create the trilogy because I have full confidence in fury Road.
In this world, movies generally are made in trilogies and until 2010 it was true for movies from my previous world as well. But<Mad Max > will definitely break this trend. And will make a great franchise.
While this was going on I noticed that I had received an invitation from the Comicon. I was just excited. I wanted to go to the Comicon no matter what so I went.
But when I arrived there I found out that two golden gooses were treated like ragdolls. Both Marvel and DC in this world were a tragedy. Marvel was just hanging on a wooden block in the middle of an ocean, that wooden block was Stan Lee, while DC was seriously considering closing down.
When I saw that I gave them an offer they couldn't refuse. I gave them a share in the total box office collection in return I received all the rights to their characters.
Many people advised me against it but they don't know about the thing I know. So told them to shut up.
In the meantime, I began shooting for my first movie. The whole shooting process went smoothly and I had so much fun that it felt like a dream.
While I was shooting I had so much excess energy that I felt like I was wasting it so ordered a wine bottle every day and started writing a novel which is called <Game of thrones: The song of Ice and Fires>.
I wrote this book just for fun and other than that it fitted well with my future plans as well but mainly for fun. After it was released I had completely forgotten about it and didn't even search for it.
'I should check it out. Nah, maybe later.'
The shooting ended successfully and that is when I met Joy. When I first met her she was playing a melody that was closely similar to that of <firework> from my previous life
That's when I thought it would be a good idea to promote my movie using this popular song and my idea worked. Sometimes I think I am a brilliant strategist or what.
But then May arrived at my door with an engagement invitation. To me, May didn't mean anything because I met her only once and we didn't even talk at that time. But to the previous Ash, she meant a whole world.
When I talked to her I could understand why previous Ash was so infatuated with her. It was because she was a sweet and honest girl who wanted to become independent and live a free life. Even I respected her for that.
Since I was in Ash's body I just wanted to repay this debt to him so I decided to help May on his behalf.
I helped may escape and provided an opportunity to achieve her dream. But by doing I sure have annoyed the final boss at the very start.
My relation with Cyrus hit the rock bottom. Well, It doesn't matter since we were destined to clash at some point, it's better to be sooner than later.
