SHOOTING STARTS

The pitch meeting started the next day so all actors were sitting in the conference room and Ash joined them too. Misty and Martha hadn't arrived yet but they had them that they will arrive soon. Serena wasn't present today because she told Ash that she was busy promoting an indie film that was going to be released by Starline.

Ash thought 'It looks like Rowen did a good job and found an indie film so fast'. Serena wanted Ash to join the promotions of this film too but Ash was busy with his own plans so she had to give it up. This movie was important for Starline since it was going to be the first movie that will bring profits to the company in a while so Serena was paying special attention to it. Since Serena was on it, Ash could focus on his own movie without any distractions.

Misty and Martha also arrived in the conference room and Martha said, "Sorry, We were stuck in traffic."

"Don't worry and come sit here," Ash said while pointing to a chair. "Now that everyone is present here let's start the meeting."

"Before we start this I want to say something as the writer and director of this movie," Ash said, "This movie is going to be shot in Maryland and Florida for 30 days. And I hope we will give it our 100% since this movie is going to be a new dawn for this company and everyone present here. The crew is already gone to Maryland and we will also go there on Friday. The shoot will begin on Sunday so be prepared everyone."

After Ash finished his speech everyone started discussing the script and started to get familiar with each other. Misty and Jim were the youngest and the newest in the room so everyone shared their experience with them and taught them some tricks. And the meeting came to a harmonious end after a while.

The next day Ash went to Annapolis to meet with the crew and get familiar with them. Ash decided to shoot this movie along the east coast even though this movie was shot in New Mexico to California in his previous life. But he knew one thing that, in his previous life this movie was to be shot along the east coast but couldn't because of the budget issue and later this became one of the major setbacks for this movie.

Since he had decided to make the movies from his previous life anyways then why not make them better than before. This will give these underrated movies a chance to become even better than they were before. In his previous life, this movie was a comedy with so many emotions but if they had a little more budget then it would have been a phenomenal movie. Since now had that budget he could make that happen.

Soon he arrived in Maryland and he met with Liam Plunket. Liam welcomed him and said, "Wow you really are so young but since you can write such good scripts it's good to meet you."

"Thank you for the compliment. I heard a lot about your skills as well so I hope it will be nice working with you."

"Even though I am very picky when it comes to the directors but for the shake of <Mad Max> I will do it and I like this script very much too so I will do everything in my power to make it a beauty."

"That's exactly what I want," Ash replied.

"Then let's make it a banger."

"Yes."

After that Ash went to a hotel to rest for today to recover from the jet lag.

The next day Ash went to Airport to pick up the cast of the movie. After picking them he dropped them at their hotel and went to the shooting location. Ash already had a detailed plan prepared for the shooting which impressed Liam too.

They decided to shoot the movie in chronological order since that was the best way to shoot the journey movies. As soon as Ash arrived there he got busy talking with Liam and others on the crew.

The day ended with Ash eating dinner with the crew and familiarizing himself with the crew.

The next day the cast decided to hold one more pitch meeting to get in characters. It was suggested by Tom so they asked Ash to join them. Ash refused at first since he was busy but Liam told him that he should join and he will manage the rest of the work.

So Ash joined them and explained their characters to them one by one. When it came to Misty Ash told her to be herself and she just had to remember the lines in which she was surprisingly very good.

On Sunday the shooting begin and everything was going very smoothly. On the first day, they were shooting the opening scenes of the movie and everyone had gotten into their roles but the one that surprised everyone most was Misty. They didn't expect a little girl to be so good at it. When Liam first saw Misty he thought it was going to be a headache and he even suggested hiring at least a 10 or 12 year old but Ash knew that everyone was in for surprise so he just ignored Liam.

And the second thing which surprised everyone was Ash himself. Everyone thought that he was too young and inexperienced to direct a movie and Liam would have to take it midway but Ash handled everything like a pro. He gave proper and perfect instruction. He was fully aware of everyone on the crew. But what Liam liked most about Ash was his attention to detail. Like when he asked Jim to change his T-shirt because it was branded and too expensive but he was playing the role of a lower-class family on a road trip.

Liam and the rest of the crew decided to give it their best. Now Liam was super optimistic about this movie since this movie had a good script, a good director, and a good cast. All he needed to was make it as beautiful as possible.

After the shooting ended Ash invited everyone for dinner since the first day was a great success and everyone joined him. After the celebration on the first day, everyone worked very hard for the next 30 days to prepare for the final scene.
