Parents day

"Beatrice ,who is coming to school today ?"Cathy , Beatrice friend and classmate asked, Beatrice looked at her and decided to ignore her ,she clearly knew what she was driving at.

"Beatrice ,am talking to you!"Cathy said shouting , Beatrice even her an annoyed look ,"must you shout ?"Beatrice asked her ,"if you have answered my question the first time I asked ,I couldn't have shouted ,"Cathy replied .

"Why do you bother about things that doesn't concern you ,I guess that's why you are very thin ,try minding your own business and I can definitely assure you that you will add a few kilos,"Beatrice said advising Cathy.

"I definitely won't eat for a whole week if I was the one who was told that ,"Jayden , there classmate said , Cathy looked at the both of them and decided to ignore them ,she took her bag back and left.

"Why did you speak so rudely to her?"Jayden asked after he made sure that Cathy was far away and couldn't hear him ,"you should also mind your own business and if you feel pity for her , why don't you follow and console her,"Beatrice said .

"Why did you eat today before coming to school ?"Jayden asked ,"chilli powder that is very bitter,"Beatrice said , Jayden looked at her and decided to leave her alone or else she would end up ruining his mood.

AT JOHN'S CLASSROOM

"John is your mother coming to school today order is in your father?"Morgan , John's classmate asked , John stopped what he was doing and looked at him ,"why are you asking ?"John answered him with another question.

"I just wanted to know so that I can be prepared to watch a free drama movie,"Morgan replied ,the whole class expect John's two friends broke out of laughter ,"Morgan ,why don't you find your own business ?"one of John's friend asked him.

"You should also mind yours ,I wasn't talking to you ,"Morgan replied ,"you are very nosy Morgan ,by the way didn't you know that whatever concerns John concerns me as well ,"John's friend replied.

"If what you said is true then tell me if it's her mother who is coming for the parents' day ?"Morgan asked him, John's friend was lost about what to say ,he looked around and realized that the whole classroom was staring at him .

"Morgan ,if the way you want to know if my mother is coming or not is the same way you are concerned about knowing what is inside your books ,I assure you that you won't be the last person everytime we do an exam,"John said to him .

Morgan looked at the whole classroom and sat down without saying anything more , John's two friends and some girls in the classroom broke out in laughter , Morgan was very embarrassed but he had no one to blamed ,he has brought it to himself .

Finally the parents strated arriving ,all the,all the students were waiting for their parents outside , Beatrice and John were sitted together , John was suprised as to way Beatrice and Cathy weren't sitting on the same sit .

"What happened ?"John asked ,"why ?"Beatrice also asked ,"why are the both of you not sitting together ?"John asked , Beatrice knew what John was talking about but she pretended that she had no idea.

"What do you mean by the both of us ?"Beatrice asked ,"I mean why are you and Cathy sitting on different sits ?"John explained his question ,"why ,is there any problem with that?"Beatrice answered her brother's question with another question.

"It's the first time to see the both of you sitting far from each other ,"John said ,"I told her to mind her own business ,"Beatrice enlightened John ,"why did you tell her that ,what did she do?"John went ahead and asked.

Beatrice saw no need for hidding from his brother what happened earlier,she decided to tell him everything, John stared at his sister with his mouth wide open after he heard what happened but he immediately come out of the shock after he remembered what happened in his classroom earlier.

John also narrated to his sister what happened in his classroom , Beatrice was shocked to know that they were people who were looking forward to her mother coming to school so that they can enjoy a free drama movie ,she looked at her brother wanting to tell him something bur looked away when she didn't know what to tell him.

"Beatrice ,I think mother is already here ,"John said bringing his sister out of his trance , Beatrice looked towards the school gate and noticed her mother's car ,she was shocked when she also noticed her biological father's car.

They have definitely forgot to call their father and inform him that their mother would be the one coming to school today , Beatrice and John looked at each other , they observed each other and knew that they have invited trouble.

Cloe was the first one to arrive at where they were sitting , Beatrice and John stood up to greet their mother ,Cloe noticed John looking behind her ,she turned to see what he was looking at and was shocked to see her ex husband .

Peter Milby was approaching them ,he arrived at where they were standing , Cloe wanted to say something to him but she remembered what happened yesterday and decided to keep quiet ,she moved aside and gave him space for him to greet his children.

"Let's go now ,"John said ,he walked towards the school hall ,the others followed behind him ,"why did you come today ,I have talked with the kids earlier and we agreed that I will be the one coming ,"Peter asked his ex wife after making sure expect for the four of them no one else would hear what he was saying.

Cloe wanted to yell at him and remind him that she was also Beatrice and John's parent ,she didn't do anything wrong in visiting but she looked at her kids and decided to stay silent ,she couldn't bear to make them the whole school laughing stock again.

"Why aren't you saying anything , don't tell me that you have suddenly gone mute ?"Peter asked her , Cloe decided to treat him like he was invisible,"don't tell me that you didn't hear me talking to you?"Peter asked her , John looked at the situation and decided to intervene.

"Father ,we are sorry , Beatrice and I are the ones at fault here and not mother,the three of us talked yesterday and agreed that mother should be the one to visit but we unfortunately , forgot to inform you ,"John told his father ,Peter looked at his son and refused to believe what he said ,he believed that he was just defending his mother.

"I don't believe you , you are just defending her ,she is clearly the one at fault ,"Peter said,"she isn't at fault ,what John told you is the truth , don't try to make things up ,"Beatrice looked at him and said ,he finally kept quiet ,he didn't want to piss Beatrice off ,he has never had a good relationship with her.

The day ended any scandals or drama , Beatrice and John were smiling as they went back home.
