9 Chapter 9 - Caretaker?

After sitting in his home, Yuuki began to think that he should reveal his power to them. He would eventually have to come clean as a Man with ability since his aim is to use clones when he becomes a Slave considering he dislikes being a slave. Yuuki might appear like beta for taking this route but the reward does tip the scale.

Though, becoming their caretaker is annoying and decides on having his robot deal with those things. However, he does enjoy cooking since his sister ingrained it into his mind.

Yuuki deeply sighed but decided to make up a story and Kyouka would unlikely hand him over to the Onmyou Agency. Also, with his probability manipulation makes those events unlucky to happen spending his own strength as an exchange in manipulating probably like his Mimicry.

He learned that most of his ability had the downside of sacrificing his own progress. This is because of his desire to weaken himself to get stronger and enjoy a good fight like Kenpachi.

Yuuki doesn't see this as a weakness rather an opportunity to see his own weakness like condensing his skills further than before where the volume gets smaller yet the density becomes bigger.

'How funny that plot itself is under my fingertips…then again there might be a strong individual like Ren who is ridiculously strong.'

He can equally fight her but her eight abilities were not shown in the manga, only a few of them and even executed an attack that was from the white house to Japan and hit its target.

[ You seem troubled sir, is there anything I could be of service? ]

The robot walked up to him that was more of an Android serving him a glass of hot choco. Yuuki doesn't sleep since he can go without sleeping for months or even years due to his superhuman endurances. Though, it does feel good when he gets a proper rest and takes the cup drinking the hot choco unaffected by the heat.

"Woman problem, Jarvis. I doubt you can give me advice on it."

[ I do find myself to be a ladies man, sir. ]

He chuckled having perfected his intelligence that it has its own ego and unlike terminator and Ultron, Jarvis was like an uncle to Yuuki that he made. Jarvis was self aware but chooses to be by his side and Yuuki treat like family rather than servant.

"Always with the joke huh. Well, I've already prepared for it anyway."

Yuuki leaned on his chair drinking his hot choco thinking about the future and things to do. He wanted to fight the Commander, Ren but never had the chance since his reputation as Kuro Oni might go downhill.

He didn't have probability manipulation in the past and the fat rich girl who had it didn't have any knowledge on how to properly use it.

It might be confusing how his Mimicry and stealing ability works. Mimicry had 3 stages. One is temporary copy where it is a weaker version without compensation while stage two is permanent copy is where he would sacrifice part of his strength to get the basic part of it where it had the same level when that person first had it.

Lastly is stealing where that person loses the ability permanently and Yuuki would gain their experience and knowledge on how to use it properly. Also, this all depends on how powerful the skills are and how far they know how to use their ability.

Take for example, his [ Probability Manipulation ] it took ¾ of his true strength to even steal it since the power it wields gives you a higher chance of winning in battle. If he stole Tenka's spatial manipulation then it would likely cause him the same but permanent copy would lessen the price. It was all worth it since he got to enjoy more battles and get new skills.

"Guess, I'll prepare what I need since I'll be living in that place from now on. Jarvis, can you please handle it for me. I'm going to sleep."

[ It will be done sir. ]

Yuuki heads to bed and begins to recall the kiss that he had with Kyouka.

A few days later, Yuuki now stood outside of the huge building of the 7th Unit's Dormitory. It was a huge Japanese style building that looked like a high class inn. Beside her was Kyouka smiling proudly seeing his reaction. Yuuki had seen the homebase of the other unit and they all have the same style with minor differences.

"This is the dormitory huh. It looks more…traditional, I was expecting more modern.."

"The architecture is the same as the other unit and has been built by 'Mato Exorcists', so a strong barrier protects it."

Kyouka stepped forward gesturing to him to follow and said.

"Feel free to go in. It's your new workplace."

Yuuki nodded as the two walked towards the door and opened it. When they went inside Yuuki saw 3 girls standing at the entrance and seeing them in person does look strange since they look like cosplaying as their anime character but their charm in the series was not removed.

"Ugh it Really Is A Man."

She said while putting emphasis on the 'Is' part. She appears to be a slender fair-skinned young woman a year older than Yuuki Wakura with back-length dark sea-green hair that is tied in a bow on the back of her head with long bangs brushed to the right side of her head and amber eyes.

She is seen to be dressed in the Anti-Demon Corps' uniform, consisting of a navy blue short-sleeved unit, a red belt, and high-heel boots that reach her thighs. This was Himari Azuma, youngest child in the main branch of the Azuma family and a glutton tsundere from Yuuki recalls.

Yuuki ignored her remarks since he knows what her life was like and can't blame her for acting the way she does. In addition, she has the right to be on guard and her emotion towards him wasn't hate and more like discomfort from what he can sense.

"I'm from an all girls high school so I never had the chance to look at a man properly! It's kinda fun!"

Excitedly said by a well-endowed young woman with short yellow hair with a greenish tint and matching green eyes. She is often seen with a ribbon tied atop her hair in a manner where they stand up like bunny ears.

She was also wearing the Anti-Demon Corps' uniform, which consists of a sleeveless navy military tunic, long gloves that reach up past her elbow, a red belt, shorts, high-heel boots that reach her thighs. This was Shushu Soruga.

"P-Please treat us well, caretaker!"

Said by a little girl with Pink hair and a headband, and blue eyes. In important meetings, She was wearing an Anti demon corps uniform along with a red belt and long skirt. Yuuki was soft when it comes to children and seeing her makes him want to pamper him.

Nei said with a cute bright smile and Yuuki pondered why would the Anti-demon corp allow a little girl to join them but knowing how desperate they can be and the reason why she joined didn't try to make a big deal out of it. In addition, he did let it happen with his [ Probability Manipulation] but made sure that her parents were alive.

Frankly the ability is too broken and if he went all out and sacrificed his progresse believe he'll be able to do a [ Almighty ] move from bleach but at the cost of a lot of progress.

"These are the members who live here. There are others but they are out for business right now"

"What does she mean by caretaker?"

"I'll ask you to become my slave during battles but any other time, I'll have you work as a caretaker."

"Seriously?"

"These girls are certainly strong, but they are still a bunch of misfits. Putting shuuki on the scene as well, we never got to place the caretaker duty on anyone. You can do housework right."

"Wait, wasn't I going to become a member of the Anti-Demon Corps?"

"A man becoming a member of the Anti Demon Corps is impossible."

She directly denied what Yuuki said, making him sigh already expecting this to be tapped on his wrist band, making them curious.

"Fine but I'll only be cooking. I don't like doing chores when I still need to do my research and training."

"What are you doing?"

Kyouka asked and watched as Yuuki took out a small device from the wristband.

"What? Where did that thing come from?"

Himari exclaimed seeing Yuuki took out a small circular device and he threw it on the floor before it transformed into a humanoid robot.

[ Greetings, sir. How many are I of service? ]

"Woah! What is this? A robot!!? So cool!? Where did you get it?"

Shushu went to inspect his android that appeared sleek and like a toy robot giving a friendly design. Nei nervously checked it while Himari and Kyouka were shocked to see the android.

"Wait, did you also make this?"

Kyouka asked while Yuuki nodded, letting Shushu and Nei play with it.

"Yeah, I often deploy them at my home since I'm too busy studying and training."

"How is that possible? Do you have an ability but…you're a man?"

Himari exclaimed still couldn't get her head around the fact there was a robot in front of them.

"Maybe I'm special but don't worry I do like doing housework when I'm free since it is therapeutic for me."

He gave a friendly smile to Himari who was caught by surprise by his expression and blushed a bit since she didn't expect him to still act friendly despite how she was treating him.

"Anyway, feel free to give it a task."

They gave it a task where Himari told it to clean the crash while Shushu told Yuuki to cook and Kyouka to wash her clothes. Yuuki sighs a bit seeing how things are getting started wishing he could train.

"This place sure is lively…."

"It's okay! Nei joined the 7th unit not long ago. I'll support you as your senior

Nei noticed his expression and gave her a cheerful smile and energetic voice, making Yuuki's heart melt.

"Thank you...wait how old are you?

"Nei is Eleven."

"You're so kind and adorable, Nei. Here, have some candy."

Yuuki patted her head making Nei giggled taking his candy then suddenly Himari looked back and shouted.

""She's your superior in the 7th unit, so do not disobey her!'

"Yosh yosh."

Yuuki continued to pamper Mei while Himari was annoyed at this and before he could say anything was cut off by Kyouka.

"That aside, Welcome to the Mato Elite Troops' 7th Unit"

He nodded, then a few minutes later Nei led him to his new room that was empty with only the essentials of a bed, cabinet and desk.

"This is where you'll be staying."

"Thank you, Nei. You're such a sweetheart."

"Hehehe if you need anything Nei will help."

She gave one last cheerful smile before Yuuki began to set up his room heading outside then changing the doorknob that had a pass code then upon entering a specific number opened to reveal his laboratory below his home.

He successfully made a two way door using the principle of what he knows about space. It took him a long time since one mistake can result in causing a black hole. Yuuki then looked at it and opened it revealing the room before.

Yuuki began to fix up his room, setting up his things until half an hour finished using the help of the other android. He gave a nod then went outside where his robot had already started cleaning.

"Guess, I have spare time."

He was wearing a new pair of clothes that consisted of a workout shirt and cargo pants with high boots. Yuuki took a deep breath, changing his whole atmosphere and Kyouka watched at the sideline.

'What is he doing?'

Kyouka senses something dangerous and Himari and Nei arrive watching him standing, controlling his breathing.

"Where did you get him anyway, Kyouka-san?"

[A/n: Don't know what term they use to call Kyouka if it's chief or her name. ]

"Nei thinks he's really cool. The robot over there was like a person."

"From what I investigated, he appears to be a super genius who won many competitions in science but dislikes the publicity of his achievement."

Kyouka felt that she hit the jackpot on Yuuki and decided to treat him better but it was fortunate he can't be part of Anti-demon corp.

"What!? Seriously!? How can he make all of this??"

"Not sure myself, from what I could gather his parents work overseas and have an elder sister but are currently missing."

Himari winces after mentioning that he lost his sister feeling a bit sympathy towards him. They all continued to watch when Yuuki took a stance where the air seemed to change and Nei shuddered.

"What the—"
