20 Chapter 20 - Have you flirted with death before?

Shikoku was certainly surprised upon witnessing the new arrival to easily defeat the shuuki that she had brought out. Yuuki ripped them to shreds using his [ Whirlpool Iron Cutting Fist ] while his summoned beast [ Byakka: White Tiger of the West ].

He slaughtered them with utmost efficiency wasting no movement and acted as if we'll coordinate with his summon beast. All of his summons reside within his soul and remain in a mindscape acting similar to Kurama from Naruto.

The reason why he easily defeated them despite being as strong or stronger than Kidoumarou, the shuuki that his sister tamed, was because he was able to use the fighting style that he was best at.

'His quite strong, I wonder if we capture him. I do need some better you than these shuuki.'

After the fight, the powerful shuuki who was as strong or stronger than Kidoumarou was easily slaughtered where Yuuki stood holding the head of the shuuki while Byakko had the corpse of the other shuuki in its mouth.

"Wow! That was impressive! I wonder for how long you'll last."

Shikoku said growing stronger blaring her power while Yuuki thought how the strength of the character had grown significantly, clearly different from the manga but this only made it better.

It was then Shikoku vanished from her spot arriving in front of Yuuki where he noticed that his senses had been dulled making him frown since this never been mentioned but theorize it has to do with the toxin she emits. He unsummoned Byakko as it takes a lot of his energy to main his summon.

'Perhaps they are some sort of manifested will given form….'

Yuuki thought to himself while he fought her that the force of their clash sent waves through the air while Bell was barely able to see their movement and slowly passed out from exhaustion. Yuuki can heal physically but can't help mental and psychological fatigue or wounds.

[ Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist ]

Shikoku was shaken when he managed to twist his body to dodge her strike and had his face inches away from hers then formed a dark portal Yuuki felt his own strike hit his face cracking his mask showing his lower jaw.

It was then the self proclaimed god sensed something And saw his expression was beastly grinned twisting his body was more using the momentum of his own strike to send into his feet where Shikoku was hit with the full force sending her flying to a nearby boulder creating a large fissure of cracks.

He waited for the dust to clear, still feeling the pain of his own attack looking at Shikoku's presence vanish and felt danger and moved like water hit Shikoku who managed to dodge and the neck wrapped around Yuuki biting into him feeling toxin pouring into him numbing his senses.

"Struggle as much as you want but it's hopeless. Our powers are far in between."

Shikoku said having captured Yuuki and delightfully mocked him only to be caught by surprise when he began laughing and grabbed her hand.

"Have you ever felt the thrilling and heart pounding moment of death?"

Yuuki controlled his breathing and resisted the poison who already had insane resistance to his physiology grabbing her hand before crushing it only for it to be a body double and Yuuki turned as he saw her standing close by.

"You actually intend to challenge a god?"

Shikoku, still living in her delusion, attacked Yuuki with her darkness where he took a stance before rushing towards. His body is still stiff but it's not that he can't survive.

[ Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist ]

He instantly ripped them to shred and began to feel pumped up that he was grinning under his mask. Shikoku felt her pride as one of Eight gods was being tainted.

"I doubt you're even a god and what I see is a big fish in a small pond."

Yuuki mockingly said while Shikoku's face contorted in anger as she doesn't take it lightly when her title is mocked and holds out his hand. She became extremely livid at the fact someone offended her kind.

[ Black Spiral ]

A small black hole that attracted him towards her made him smile and use the moment to move past her then struck her. Shikoku couldn't believe her eyes and felt it crushing into her stomach.

[ Exploding Heart Released Fist ]

The attack causes Shikoku to vomit blood as she is inside and is damaged, sending her flying dozens of feet away from his spot. Shikoku didn't die from an attack and began to recover but her pride was agonizing.

"You…. I'll remember this…Kuro Oni, I won't let you go away with this. Just you wait…I'll kill you when you least expect it."

Shikoku was far from dying but knew she would lose if she confronted him outright. Yuuki laughed as she used the tactical retreat leaving Yuuki Behind. He scoffed at her escaping and decided to let her go waiting for the opportunity to turn her into something similar to his summon.

Yuuki theorizes that like the real Yuuki who absorbed an essence of a god and gained the spirit of one of them into his soul. He let her go knowing they'll meet soon in the near future and turned his attention to Bell who was knocked and spreading his senses finding that the other Anti-demon Corp decided to leave.

Yuuki noticed how Kyouka seemed happy hearing the story and her emotion was a measure of excitement, pride, gratitude and many more but mostly it was a possible feeling. He wanted to tell her but her intuition was warning him it was not the right time.

"Do you think Kuro Oni started appearing again after humanoid shuuki began to pop up?"

Kyouka asked Tenka and shook her head dismissing the idea. Yuuki was testing his [ Probably Manipulation ] . It can change people's decision making that goes in his favor and unexpected work quite well. It was better than hypnosis since everything seemed like chess and he has full control over it.

Though he can't place sudden change in the probability nor drastic changes only events that have the possibility of happening and the more impossible it is, the unlikely it will happen.

For example if he made it possible to become an omnipotent god then it will definitely be impossible unless he takes it one step at time and has the highest chance of becoming one in the future.

Though, he is unsure if they are individually immune to it but knowing how careless some would be then it's highly unlikely but not impossible.

It is Limited to things that are possible i.e. the possibility of a given event must be above 0% to cause it and less than 100% to prevent it (in certain cases, the probability of a given event might also need to be above 0% to cause it and less than 100% to prevent it) and/or to manipulate a given event; can't make the impossible happen and can't prevent the absolute from happening (e.g. cannot make a world in which a given thing exists and does not exists in the same sense at the same time); can at most make the highly unlikely happen and/or prevent the highly likely from happening. In other words, this power is limited by causality, logic, reality, and truth.

Despite this, it's likely to grow in the future as he gains more mastery over it and learns new things. Yuuki already increases his probability of it but takes time until it's noticeable or meets the event that it had set out to bring out most potential.

"Perhaps but we have yet to find any new information from Kuro Oni." (Tenka)

Listening to Tenka, Kyouka gave a nod deciding to change the subject even though she wanted to know more about Kuro Oni while Yuuki pondered whether he should be jealous of an alter ego. It is quite a funny scenario in his mind.

"So there are multiple humanoids. The units will have to work together."

She put emphasis on the "Will" as yachiho clearly has qualms with Himari even though Yuuki knew deep down she cares for her sister and is only an awkward person.

"You're reliable, chief Kyouka, but the one you trust your back to leaves a lot to be desired...."

Yachiho said while looking at Himari who clenched her fist in anger and glared at her. Yuuki walked up to her where she felt Yuuki hand on her head.

"Don't doubt yourself like how Kyouka doesn't have the slightest doubt of your potential."

Yuuki looked at Yachiho showing a wide grin that made a little pissed off and inwardly jealous that she was getting close to her sister that made Yuuki inwardly shake his head then back to Himari who looked at him.

"So stop believing in yourself and believe in the person that believes in you."

Hearing this made Kyouka smile while Himari's eyes shone after hearing those words before Kyouka spoke.

"It'll be necessary to see where our units stand in power. How about we participate in the Mato Exhibition Games with all units?

"Your words always pack a punch, Kyou-Chin. I accept."

She gave a serious yet playful tone and welcomed the challenge from her fellow unit chief.

"I'll make a request to the higher ups. The preparation should take a few days."

"I'll bring the remaining participants by then."

Tenka said. She got up and turned to look back at Yuuki and said,

"See you Later Slave-Kun and amazing motivational words, I'll also keep that in mind.

"I'll be looking forward to seeing you again."

Yuuki waves at her while Tenka seems to have made her happy, giving a beautiful smile.Tenka and Yachiho then teleported out with only the 7th Unit left in the room.

Kyouka and Shushu seem to dislike how tenka and Yuuki were getting along, with the former unsure the reason why she felt that way while Shushu already started to like Yuuki despite having interacted for a few days.

This most likely has to do with her naivety and innocent thinking Yuuki has now touched her, she now belongs to him. Shushu glanced at Yuuki and couldn't help but blush recalling the time they almost went all the way.

'What should I do….'

Her face was heating up thinking about what had gone down in the bath house. Yuuki sensed her emotion and decided to talk with her later and let her know his situation. It might break her heart but he already got a bit of planning ahead.

'That's a problem for later but for now, I wonder how I'll be able to use [ Golden Hour ].'

It was the ability of Himari's sister, Yachiho, After receiving the Peach Blessing, Yachiho became able to manipulate time, but it can only be performed what she refers to as a noble pose, letting perform feats such as stopping or rewinding time for 5-seconds.

Golden Hours has several weaknesses, one being that it cannot be used without delays from the poses, the short time frame from either stopping and/or rewinding time gives her little option if she isn't fast enough, using either powers will exhaust her more and more with each use, and it can be avoided if her opponent knows how it works. Yachiho's Golden Hour also cannot be used for a while if she overuses it.

She also has another power that is called [ Prime time ] where after using a self-proclaimed supreme pose, Yachiho can either stop or rewind time for 10 seconds instead of the usual 5 seconds.

Yuuki dislikes the idea of posing to use this ability and decides if it can be used by mental triggers and won't expose his ability.

He is already using his already thinking and mental training when he felt a hand on his shoulder and saw Himari looking at him with determination in her eyes. He was kind of happy that she regained her flames after the ordeal earlier.

"With that, now you have to become my, Himari Azuma's, Slave!"

"....can you elaborate on that?"

After a while, Shushu went to her room to think about what happened earlier and Nei also went back to her room to study while Kyouka began to contact the higher ups about the upcoming event.

At the moment, around 3 Pm where Yuuki usually eat snack was preferring some Ramen for Himari who happily ate her food noticing that she's quite the foody.

"This Ramen Has Good Dashi."

"You seem to like deep flavors so I put chicken fat and Stuff."

Yuuki was wearing an apron that Himari couldn't deny to be rather contrasting his sharp and rough looking face. She can't deny that Yuuki looks handsome compared to men that she had seen and oftentimes far more reliable than she admits it.

Despite her actions towards him, he never gets angry and acts gentle towards her. Himari can't forget hier time training with him that even though quite rough and always lost continued to be patient growing better each. His words impacted her and cleared a path for her. However, she is still awkward in her words and remains the way she speaks.

"You have skills fit to be my slave."( Himari )

"So care to tell me why I'm Gonna Be your Slave."
