Shou Airos
5th moon burst 29000th explosion, Village of Roakh, Sheden clan territory.
(a Moon Burst is about 3 months in Earth's time, and an Explosion is almost 2 year, but the aging of people here is slower, For example, a 5 Explosion Old boy looks like a 5 years old boy.)
"Shou! You are sleeping on the job again you lazy brat!"
His father shouted while throwing a newly sharpen sickle to the sleeping boy in the rice field. The boy was about 5 Explosion Old, dark long hair, pitch black eyes, and about 4 ft height.
The sharp sickle's trajectory was aimed right between the boy's eye. The wind around it is warping spirally because of how fast it was. it was approaching at the speed of at least 160 kph. it will be certain death when the boy is hit with the sickle. But when it is about to hit, The boy opened his pitch black eyes and dodges the sickle by a hair's length. That startled him and quickly get up on his feet. But, not a second passed another sickle was coming for him, aimed directly to his crouch making him jumps two meters into the air.
"Safe!"
"Are you trying to kill me, old man?!"
The old man smiled discreetly and whispered to his wife beside him.
"That was a Mortal Rank speed throw"
His wife also smiled. And commented to his husband while looking at her son.
"He is improving fast, maybe he got the talent for it."
The old man only replied with a light approving nod.
"Pick up those sacks of rice and put them into the storage. next time you sleep on the job, you'll receive a serious throw from me."
Shou picks up the 3 sack of rice together and put it in his back to save time. He quickly runs towards the storage.
'I need to finish this quickly if I want to watch the lesson of that traveling warrior in the village center. its the first time a real warrior visited our village and on top of that, he is willing to conduct a basic lesson for us. my mom and dad think that being a warrior is useless and will get you killed faster, they want me to just quickly learn how to farm and inherit our business. but my dream is to become one of the strongest warriors in the mortal empire.'
The Roakh village is located within the Mortal Empire. The Mortal Empire consists of seven territories controlled by the seven most powerful clan. The six other clans are being led by the most powerful, The XBK clan, They are the one who sits on the emperor's throne. The six clan leader or The six kings are loyal subjects of the emperor and will abide by his command.
Shou is a normal villager in the Roakh Village inside the territory of the Sheden Clan. His family consists of 3, His father and mother and him. They are a family of farmers. or so as Shou thought.
His father, Kenjo Airos, real name "Kenjo Arens" is a prince of the mighty Arens Clan, one of the seven powerful clans. Kenjo is a genius from the Arens clan and given the title "Speed Prince" in his youth. Unfortunately, The Great Black invasion causes a huge blow to the Arens clan and forcing its main royal bloodline to go into hiding. from then on, Kenjo and his wife are living in the remote village of Roakh.
His Mother, Rensia Airos, real name "Rensia Arens", she is the sister of Kenjo. it is not weird for siblings in the Arens Clan to marry each other. it is to keep the purity of their blood within the main family. Rensia never got the chance to develop her skills in combat before The Great Black invasion occurs. Rensia never thought that she should increase her power because she plans to keep living a normal life with Kenjo. you can consider Rensia as a normal mother.
after 30 minutes, Shou finishes storing the 300 sacks of rice that their family harvested, in the storage house. He still got 30 more minutes before the appointed time the warrior will arrive. Noticing that he will make it in time for the lesson, Shou rapidly sprints into the village center's direction.

The village center, 20 km away from Shou's house.
"Battalion Commander Kaz, what is a military officer of the imperial army doing all the way in our humble village of Roakh?"
A middle age man with authoritative aura questioned the young officer who is holding a dangerous spear.
"Don't worry Village Chief, I mean no harm, I'm just seeking a certain person while on vacation when one of the kids from your village helped me when I was in trouble. in return, I agreed to conduct a basic lesson for him and his friends in basic combat. I see no harm in doing so"
the village chief also agrees that there is no harm in giving the kids a lesson in combat. He simply replied with a nod and walks away after signaling the guards to watch over.
"Kazer! that was awesome, you made the chief walk away." said a little girl named Keira.
BC Kazer gives a light smile to Keira and starts speaking in front of the kids.
"Since its time, I will show you the basic lesson for a warrior"
Shou arrives in time for the lesson conducted by BC Kazer. It is very interesting and helpful for a boy who dreams of becoming a soldier one day.
Kazer is showing the basic stance that they teach in the military, everyone is having fun. especially Shou, it is very informative for him to be finally seeing something resembling a warrior lesson. Shou is very hungry with information.
"Now let's have a volunteer, Who wants to come to the stage?"
Shou raises his hand and got picked, he comes to the stage standing opposite of BC Kaz.
BC Kaz instructed Shou to dodges his attack while he teaches the soldier stance. Shou simple nodded focusing entirely to what BC Kaz is about to teach.
BC Kaz held the spear with both of his hand and trusts it to Shou.
Not too far of a distance, Kenjo is watching all of the happenings in the warrior's lesson. When BC Kaz is about to trusts to Shou, a force pushes his spear faster to Shou. BC Kaz tries to counter it but the force is too strong for him to stop.
BC Kaz is certain that Shou will die so he gave all of his power to stop the attack but the spear pushes on his own with power far beyond his limit.
When the spear is about to hit Shou. Shou notices something wrong and dodges immediately to the side. The spear went slow motioned in his point of view and dodges it successfully.
BC Kaz was startled causing him to lose his balance and fell on his knee to the ground. 'What a formidable footwork!! He manages to dodge that spear, it was at least as strong as my strongest attack, Who is this child?! More importantly, who is the one who uses magic to launch my spear?' BC Kaz looks into his surrounding before standing again.
BC Kaz has decent talent but he lacks resources and riches that's why he can't keep on training and just keep on working to pay for his family's bill. He sucks at making money.
Kenjo is surprised to see BC Kaz noticing his attack. of course, it is Kenjo who tries to attack Shou to further test his training. Kenjo is discreetly passing his strongest technique to his son, "The Prince Waltz". it was the reason Kenjo was called the Speed Prince, it was because of his footwork technique. the Prince Waltz is categorized by the WO as a 5th Tier Technique. The Prince Waltz is separated by 5 levels. After this stunt, Kenjo confirms that his son, Shou. manages to master the 1st level without even knowing about it. Shou got a rare talent. in comparison, despite Kenjo being called a genius of the Arens clan. it takes him 5 explosions to master the 1st level of prince waltz. after mastering the 1st level of prince waltz. he develops the technique, spawning 4 additional levels. Kenjo doesn't have a plan to teach his son the 4 additional levels that he adds to the technique. it will be left to his talent if he can develop the technique furthermore.
The 1st level Prince Waltz is advance footwork invisible to any attack within the Mortal Rank.
Going back to the BC Kaz, after standing up, He told everyone smoothly that the lesson has ended. it is to his judgment that with the unknown force that is roaming around, it is dangerous to continue. This decision makes Shou disappointed. While all of the kids are dispersing BC Kaz wants to stop Shou to ask a question but instead, he is stopped by Keira, the girl that helped him.
"Kazer, Thanks for conducting the lesson for me and my friends"
"Keira, Who is the guy that volunteer a while ago in our lesson?" he asked anxiously.
"him? he is Shou Airos, he is the farmer's son in the northern part of the village."
"Farmer's son?"
Kaz can't believe that he is just a farmer's son. after all, he manages to dodge that attack smoothly.
BC Kaz is intrigued, but he needs to get going. he shall never forget his encounter with Shou in the Roahk village.

The next day
Shou goes to the woods to gather plants for his mother to make medicine for their extra business. Shou's mother, Rensia is a brilliant businesswoman. she can make our 30 gold earnings from the harvest grow up to 1000 gold sometimes. that is what Rensia wanted Shou to inherits from her.
while Shou is collecting plants, he is internalizing what he learns with Kaz's lesson. He is using a wood branch as a spear and practicing the stances. he already memorized all of the stances shown by Kaz during the lesson.
Shou puts his right hand on the end of the spear stick and executes a long horizontal slash to it, causing the grass and wind to violently moves. Shou, in terms of Meng Control, He does not even reach the lowest rank stated by the WO. so he still doesn't have the help of Meng in his strength to executes the horizontal slash.

Meng or Moon Energy is the energy gifted by the moon to the citizen of the Mortal World, anyone who is born in this world will have the power to control Meng. How much they control will depend on the person.
The World Organization sets up a ranking system to determine the amount of Meng someone can control or utilize. The lowest rank is the Mortal Rank, it is then subdivided by sublevels:

with red being the lowest. it that sense, the lowest rank sets up by the WO is Red Mortal Rank.
You can say the Meng control is the most important thing in this world. Meng control is what gives an individual the power to survive in this world. it also makes the lives ordinary citizen easier.
If you reach a certain strength in Meng control, it will put you to Red mortal rank and the difficulty increases exponentially. For example, from Red Mortal Rank going to The next rank is twice as hard and the next after that is 10 times as hard and so on.
For example, Battalion Commander Kaz can be considered as a strong individual even in the military, but his rank is only at Black Mortal Rank. you can imagine how hard it is to advance in Rank in meng control.
in that sense, Black Mortal Rank is considered as a master within the common populace.
