Chapter-1[Prologue]

"Hahaha..." Lin Zhenren dryly laughed.

His whole face was bruised from the marks of punches and other things that he suffered. His upper body was visible as he was not wearing anything, multiple scratches were seen on his chest and his back. Those scratches looked like they were made by some beasts.

He was leaning on the bed right now while staring at the screen that suddenly popped in front of his eyes when he was training today.

[Time left- 3 hours]

That was all it showed. Lin Zhenren know about this screen before as it appeared in the corner of his right eye when he was 10 years old, and at the same time, his nightmares started. Now, this screen showed completely in front of his eyes. But, no one was able to see this.

Every time he closed his eyes to fall asleep, he would dream of a man, from his birth and he experienced it like he was leaving in that man but can't control his body.

During the starting two years, those dreams became his hope and gave him the motivation to live on.

Even though many things confused the Young Lin Zhenren at that time, as that world in his dreams was different from the one he lived in but it was still something he got used to.

The first two years were about the life of the man as a small child as he lived in his parent's care all the time. His parents pampered him to the limit and always showed love and care, something Lin Zhenren never got after he turned 4 years old.

The time when a kid would get his talent tested. The time that would decide the direction of their future, whether resources would be spent on them to grow them or now.

But, when Lin Zhenren was tested, he turned out to be a cripple. He was born without any Spiritual Roots, his meridians were broken.

He was told to be never able to sense an ounce of Spiritual Energy in his whole life.

And his parents also turned their eyes off. He was abandoned.

For the first four years of his life, he showed quick growth making others quite expectant of him, but it also ignited jealousy in others. And at his downfall, everything erupted. He become the laughing stock, even a kid like him at the time was not spared from being ridiculed.

His father who was one of the Elder in the Lin Family ridiculed his own son in front of everyone, he went as far as saying that Young Lin Zhenren was not his son. And his mother cared for him for a year, but when his blood sister, who was two years younger than his started showing her talent, he was ignored by his mother too.

He lived all alone in the courtyard that was for the servants, in the corner of the Lin Family. He had no one to rely on.

He cried every night. He started hating everything to the core. He condemned Heaven itself for making him like that. But, he never lost his hope and determination, he trained his body. He trained so hard that he was able to defeat some weak animals and some beasts but alas, the reality was cruel to him.

He would never be able to become strong, not without the resources, something he can't get.

And, after he turned 10, a dot appeared in the corner of his eyes. Focusing on the dot, he was able to make a small screen appear in the corner of his eyes,

He become scared not knowing what that was. He thought that it was done by some Evil person. He went to get help from every Elder but was ignored or beaten for the fact that a cripple like him talked to them, the mighty cultivators.

He even went to his parents for help but all he got was disgust. His parents that gave birth to him showed disgust to him. He was heartbroken beyond the limit, his mother still smiled and even showed some emotions while hiding her true feeling but at that time, she showed disgust to him.

His Father even beat him saying that he was getting mentally upset as he saw things like that.

He went back to his courtyard and cried loudly. On that day, rain poured and clouds rumbled as they did at his birth. At that time, he lost all the feelings he had left for anyone except one person.

Lin Zhenren slept outside, with the cold rain pouring over his body. And he dreamed at that time for the first time, he dream of something other than getting bullied.

He dreamed of being birthed again but without any control over his body and caring and doting parents taking care of him.

He felt like in heaven experiencing the deep care and love that his parents showed to him, and as though time was slowed in his dreams, even after 5 years passed, with him experiencing everything that the young boy in his dreams experienced in a modern world, only two years passed by in his real world.

He becomes excited to sleep, free from the dreams of getting bullied, and his feelings that he lost returned. He desired to experience it in his own world.

But alas, fate had other plans for him. When he turned 13, everything changed. The sweet dreams turned into nightmares.

He dreamed of some people invading the sweet heaven of his dreams, the house that he lived in with his family. Those people tied his father, and him.

They rap*d his mother right before his eyes. His father continuously cried and begged for mercy but those people never listened.

That continued the whole night. His father from his dream loved his mother the most, and seeing her like that, he broke. He was not able

His mother continuously begged and cried in an agony of pain and guilt. He watched it all happening in front of his eyes.

Tears poured from his eyes seeing the condition that his mother suffered, even Lin Zhenren who experienced all that cried while sleeping.

Those people left in the morning, without killing anyone but they printed vulgar words all over his mother's body.

His father held his mother's body in his hands and sobbed silently for hours, his mother already lost consciousness by the morning.

He watched it all while being tied. And, along with that, something broke inside the heart of the 5-year-old kid.

When Lin Zhenren woke up from his sleep, he cried continuously. He wasn't able to understand, why would someone do things like this but no one was there for him to give answers.

He trained even more but all the happiness that he usually felt vanished completely. He becomes a shell, an emotionless shell filled with only anger.

In the dreams, everything changed for the worse. His family lived the same in the dreams after that incident but there was no light in the eyes of his mother and his father.

The little boy from the dream desperately tried many things to improve things for the family but nothing worked.

And things changed for the worse. Blackmail letters started coming to his home, with the pictures of his mother, and how she was humiliated. His mother was called out on multiple occasions to visit some places with his father but he never knew where they went.

But whenever his mother returned, there were bruises all over her body. His father was wounded too from different places. Both of their eyes were filled with agony and humiliation.

There was not much known to the little boy in the dream, but Lin Zhenren who experienced that know what was happening, his head always burned with anger.

This all continued for 5 years in his dreams, his parents still tried their best to give happiness that they could give to the little boy, but they started to feel tired.

And, on the 10th birthday, they committed suicide after telling the little boy that they will be late for the party. The little boy waited while standing a the door for his parents but no one came. The time was that of winter, but he still waited.

Until the next day, Police came to his home, telling him that they found the bodies of his parents in the river.

His whole world broke down at that time. He quickly went with the police and saw his parent's cold bodies. He cried on their bodies. He hit them with the hope of waking them up but nothing worked.

He cried till there were no tears left for him to shed. During the whole funeral process, he stayed silent, never replying to anyone. And this continued till he turned 15, at that time, he found a clue on the people who rap*d his mother.

He cried after knowing about those men, after the whole five years, he spoke but only self-blaming himself. The men who rap*d his mother were the people of fathers of a student he beat by impulse when he was only 5 years old. That student's father was a Mafia Boss.

His heart turned cold. He went into a frenzy, to search for them and send them to their death, and after 5 years, he finally meet the mafia boss.

But the face sends chills to him. The mafia boss was none other than his father, whose dead body he saw was buried under the ground.

His Father smiled gently at him saying, "So, how does it feel?"

The now-grown boy felt like his whole world returned to him as he listened to the voice he expected to hear after 10 years, and that voice sounded, he stuttered as he asked with tears in his eyes, "..F-F-Father?"

He sobbed and was about to run for a hug, forgetting the reason why he was there but stopped when he saw his father shaking his head and replying in a voice filled with agony, guilt, and pain that seemed to come deep from the heart, "Sadly, I was never your father. I was betrayed by your mother. And to take revenge, I planned everything. I made you live a life like that, so I don't deserve to be called your father.."

The boy stood there blankly. He wasn't able to comprehend the situation at all. The person he wanted to kill so badly turned out to be his father. The man which made his life turn hell was actually none other than his father.

How? Why?

He stood there blankly, waiting for someone to explain to him.

He needed the answer?!

Why did he live then?!

Just WHY?!
