The CHANGER

I walk through the town and eventually find a strange old man who was wearing a plague doctor mask and said "what have you come for my child"

"Dad!?" I yell surprised

"no you idiot!" he sighs "what have you come to gain?"

"I want the power of endurance" I say

"what will you give up for it?" he asks

"I sit there thinking what I have"

After a while he says "I can tell your strong how about you sell some of your strength?" I think it over for a little and decide to think about that "I'll hold off on that for today" I stand up and walk out and with only a hour of light left in the day I walk around looking for a house to buy. I come across a small 2 person house for 15,000 and I still got 90,950 left from school funds and the inn. "I buy the house from the home owners and move in"

----next day-----

I got out if bed and get dressed for school and head to school at a jog pace.

I walk into the class tired and hot I walk into the room and sit next to jean. "hey how was your night?" he says smiling "It was good I bought a house today" I say smiling.

After class he walks up to me seeming embarrassed and says "where did you get that kinda money?" I look confused and say "Its from my dad its his life savings" he looks down and says "ah that makes sense"

During lunch I ask him "why do you need money?" he looks down and says "I don't got anywhere I can stay other then the inn but that's a lot to pay."

We sit there in silence and I then say "my house is a 2 person and I don't have anyone to keep me company so you get furniture and you can be my roommate

He smiles "deal"

____after class_____

After I get back from my after school run I walk into my house that's not quite yet a home and collapse on the couch for a minute then jump up startled

"what the fuck kinda magic is this! I don't have a couch". Jean walks out to the living room laughing and says "You told me to get furniture you idiot"

"tomorrow we should go out to get More like beds and tables and chairs" I say

Jean says "I just got a couch for now" He says laying down and sleeping I lay down too and fall asleep
