1 Chapter 1: Jamie
My heels clicked as I walked through our apartment complex. I wanted to surprise him. He thought I was going to be out all night, but no, that was a simple trick.
I used my key and unlocked the door. I think my neighbors are doing the deed because someone's bed is squeaking, I thought. I opened the door and looked in horror.
"Nick?"
My knees felt weak and I fell to the floor,
"Jamie I promise you it's not what it looks like," My sadness went to rage and I stood up, wiping the tears off my cheeks,
"It's exactly what it looks like, your cheating on me!! You didn't even have her get off when I walked in!"
The woman on Nicks lap, still riding him. She moaned loudly as if oblivious to what was happening. I got up, so enraged I screamed,
"IM LEAVING, AND I AM NOT COMING BACK!!"
I walked across the room, taking off my heels. I threw them both and they landed about a foot away from Nick and his woman.
"AND IF YOU TEXT ME, I WILL COME BACK HERE AND BURN THIS APARTMENT DOWN."
A white lie, but it got all of my anger out, I slammed the door and walked, I texted my friend Millie,
Me: MILLIE PLS HELPđđ
Millie: OMG WHAT HAPPENED????
Me: NICK CHEATED ON ME
Millie: HE DID WHAT??????
Millie: BITCH GET YOUR GRANNY PANTIES ON WE'RE GOING TO A BAR
A few minutes later Millie picked me up and we drove to a bar. I was sobbing so hard I couldn't even see where we drove to,
"Here we are Jamie, your favorite bar in the whole wide world!"
I looked up, wiping away my tears. A smile grew on my face, it felt like the first smile in years.
"Come on, let's go in, Jamie!"
We stepped out of the car, I still felt weak but I wanted a beer so bad. We walked inside, I got a pale ale and Millie didn't drink. I recounted everything that happened. By then I knew I was drunk, I didn't care.
"Alright Jamie, let's go home."
"Hhome? Bbut I c-can't."
"That's why you're coming home with me!"
"Y-you aree thee bestestt."
"Haha, Let's just get in the car."
