life is what you would call the opposite of normal. It is partly chaotic but at night its demons reign. I was cursed to be what some may call folklore of the tale of the headless horseman. I recently moved to a small town called mystic falls. I'm hoping to start fresh, where no one knows about my curse. I'm hoping to make a few friends but also keep a normal job. The minute sundown hits it's a weird experience. Ever since I was a kid I never knew my mom. Before she left my dad and me. She cursed me with well the traits of what I just explained. It's a weird thing how it works.
But one other thing is that I have had a horse named Frost- I have had her since I was 3 years old. Her favorite treat is peppermint bites. But like I said getting back on track I moved into a two-story house and it has a really big basement. And it is connected to a forest so hopefully, no one will see me.
A few months later:
I have lived in mystic falls for a few months now- so around 4 months. And so far my secret has been hidden but im getting more nervous granted I've been working at the grill im worried t seems like they are getting suspicious of why I dont work night shifts. I literally can't or I go full-blown headless horsemen curse. It's a weird thing.
But tonight I'm going to try I found a witch who could help me keep it in check for a few hours so I can work a little overtime. But im still worried. I got dressed and headed over to the grill.
Mystic grill: 4:43 pm
I have been doing good so far today, just the normal anxiety but been getting pretty good tips. But matt asked me to stay a little extra- till 5 pm tonight and im getting worried. Apparently vampires and witches and wolves run throughout this town and now Originals. I dont need anyone finding out my secret. It's my biggest fear.
Soon enough I saw smoke coming out of my neck when I was in the bathroom. I rushed out and found matt, " Matt can I talk to you-" He nodded, " Yeah what's up?" I pleaded, "I need to head out im so sorry it's an emergency. It's hard to explain but I can come in early tomorrow morning if needed. Just please I need to go." He said, "it's fine we are getting slower anyways. Just are you good?" I nodded, " yeah trust me, thank you so much."
And with that, I rushed out of there. I pushed past a few customers repeatedly saying sorry. But before I knew it I got to my car and it was too late.
