raven of power

I didn't mean to kill her. The air turned black all around me and a set of icy fingers gripped my arms in the darkness. We were wandering through the graveyard and it felt like something was watching me. It was a cold night and for some reason, I got roped into going to a graveyard at night. Things took a turn for the worse.

A shrill cry echoed in the mist. Icy wind slashed at our faces and it began to storm. The rain started to pour down drenching our faces and that's when we saw the rusted building. Our footsteps slowly crept and creaked on the step of the stairs. My hair stood on end, a shiver raced down my spine and a lump came to my throat. I heard a whisper, " stay with me." " choose me" soon enough I heard a bellowing scream and I saw blood drip from the ceiling, and a headless being came forth. " welcome back im sure you will love it here." I slowly backed up and felt a pair of icy fingers grip my shoulders, " no this is not real! It's not real!"

" kill me right now- I dare you."

" no one could have saved you."

" your just a shadow."

" stay with me- stay with us."

" you made me a promise- you should have seen it coming- we are friends and you know it!"

This is one nightmare I can't wake up from, " because we know you're awake."
