Do you remember?

12th April 2022. Opening my eyes, I saw a note stuck in my mirror saying, "From now on don't think you are alone. Whenever you feel down, all you gotta do is close your eyes and take a deep breath". All of a sudden I went into a flashback. I just saw all the incidents of last night in a twinkling! It wasn't a dream indeed. It felt more like the series I had been watching all my life. Anyways, I got up and took a shower.

Standing in front of the mirror, I was choosing a dress to wear.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. When I looked in the mirror, suddenly I saw him behind me.

"Uh, You startled me to death! Can't you inform me before coming?"

"I only come when I am called" [dead serious]

I said multiple times that I didn't call him but he was too cranky.

"You did it. Not directly but indirectly."

I was pissed off but tried my best not to get angry.

"Closing your eyes, when you will take a deep breath, you will see me by your side."

I thought he was talking tongue-in-cheek. He asked if I needed anything. I denied it. Then he disappeared! And that was driving me crazy.

After my lecture, I went to the library so I could be at peace.

[A random couple fuss] "[sigh] Where can I get peace? I want peace."

He came out of the blue saying if I was annoyed.

"You are an angel, right? So just take me to a place full of silence."

He snapped his fingers and took me to a silent beach.

"None will disturb you."

It was dark around. Cold wind blowing. Shining stars. The whistle of waves. The most beautiful night ever!

I let out a sigh of relief and sat down on the sand. He sat beside me.

I said, "You know, this world is full of monsters. Though they don't look like monsters, they are, inside. Sometimes I just wanna give up on my life but I remember one thing."

Asking what it was, he looked me in the eye.

"When I was in the orphanage, Nany told me that those who have got a life to lead are blessed because there are some others who want to lead a better life but can't. So live happily. You have your whole life in front of you."My eyes filled with tears.

He kept looking at me and that was making me feel nervous.

"Can you stop looking at me like that?". He smiled and looked around.

He said, "No wonder He is the God."

I stared at him and saw him giggling.

I asked him what was going on. He looked at the sky and said, "After creating me, God said that he wasn't going to assign me anything. He ordered me to keep an eye on the evils who were living peacefully after committing sins in the world and making the world hell." He further said, "11th December 2001. A girl will be born. She is kind-hearted and has a decent soul. Making her live her whole life without any regret is your first and last duty."

I said, "Don't tell God was talking about me" [Mumbling]

He shook his head and said I was right. My head got blank. I just flew off the handle as it was hard to swallow.

"But you never showed up before. I mean, when I was a child", I said.

"I've been watching you since you were born. I didn't show up because at that time you were promising. I was protecting you. Do you remember the night? That night during the thunderstorm, you were scared as hell and out of the blue, you started to hear some melodies". "Yes, I still remember that day. The melodies cheered me up and... bbut how do you know?". " I did that", he replied.

"Don't you like me?", he asked. That time that look in his eyes was elegant. I couldn't help staring at him. I almost forgot what I was gonna ask.

"What if I fall for you?" [Slipped out of my mouth] I immediately bit my tongue.

He smiled and snapped his fingers, I fall asleep on his shoulder. He took me to my place and carried me to bed in his arms." You will forget everything the next morning", he whispered.
