I finish eating the ramen made by Cherry, "That was too good" I sink deeper to my chair as I had never tasted the sensation that is ramen before. I climb back up and look for cherry noticing that she were gone now "She's gone?" I turn to the table to see the leftovers "Oh well guess I'll clean up"

Krill enters the kitchen scratching the back of his head "Seraph where are-" He stopped the moment he looked up and looked in front of him.

I were too busy trying to make this faucet work ". . So I pull it this way?" Finally a stream of water fell down "Oh that's convenient! its exactly like how she did it" I aimed the stream of water into the plates and I wind up cleaning them faster than I ever did with the lake.

Krill then crossed his arms "Is this also your first time using a sink?" He sighs and shook his head knowing the answer either way "Enough jokes, Seraph I'm putting you into a fellowship contract"

I set down the plates and hop down from the two step stool, walking to him "Mr. Krill what's a fellowship contract?" I tilt my head as I dry my hands by scrubbing my hands against my pants.

Krill passes me a handkerchief "At least have proper manners Seraph" He dries my hands

This were bewildering, "Mr Krill, is this fellow- uh contract thingy that important? you're acting different"

Krill then scoffs "Excuse me I am always like this, you just fail to notice" I laugh at him and he sighed again "Well a fellowship contract is basically a long term contract that binds your mana with the other contracted, which will be Cherry it very useful for studying together as mages"

I then shrug as I start thinking more about it, "But I don't-" Suddenly the words of my first teacher told me to not talk about the mana source.

Krill turned his head to me "You don't?" I shook my head, "Well I'll be connecting your room with Cherry now so go ahead, its almost time to sleep as well" It were getting late after all.

I nod at him "Oh thats great then, we can study all night!" I get glared at and I nearly stumble back "I was just joking sheesh, I'll go now" I walk towards the door and I open it.

Krill then stops me with a last question "Seraph its gonna be a long contract, what do you think of Cherry so that I can either improve that thinking for the better"

I look back at him and I shrug and went my way, what do I think of Cherry? its too early to think of someone in a certain way.

I arrive at the door where our room would be, I hear sobbing through the door and I put my ear closer to hear a voice "Oh come on now, I feel like fate is just making fun of me now" Cherry? and someone making fun of her?

I barge open the door "Cherry you alright I heard you crying!?" Worry painted my face as the words she said could carry deep meaning behind them.

She jumps back in the unexpected encounter "Seraph! sheesh knock first or else you'll scare me to death" She turned around "My face is itchy so I'll just scratch it su" with that she took her chance to fix her face.

I look around the room, "So the left side is mine, and the right yours?" She nodded.

The room were arranged in a way that we'd have our own rooms to our personal bathing rooms, and our beds furthest away from each other, and the one thing between our borders being a book shelf "Guess this is our life now" Cherry said as she sighed "I felt my entire life just changed its course su"

I wound up chuckling and pulled up a book "Well for now lets study some magic"
