11 Chapter 11

I will be honest with you guys. I don't have any idea what to write in this Grail War. I add this war because I want to give Oswald a power-up. Meh, I will just wing it.

It doesn't hard to find Assassin as I've read that she would stay near Ikebukuro station in the Toshima ward of Tokyo to consume souls. When I got there together with Ruler, she has already killed 3 people and consumed their souls. When she got to a less populated area, I showed myself.

"Found you," I said.

I walk near her while she was stunned. "It was only the 1st night yet you've already started breaking the rules. You really like to break the rules, huh?"

She then prepared herself for combat. As a good student of Vergil, I asked her, "Are you sure you want to fight." She replied nothing. "Are you sure?" I asked again.

She rushed toward me but my instinct kicked in. I gave a punch to her stomach.

"You broke the rule, Assassin. The rule clearly stated not to involve anyone who is not a magus. And right now, you just killed three. You also killed your master, I know, which is not your fault. Nevertheless, you killed by-standers. You, my lady, are to be punished."

After saying it, I rushed toward her. I won't be killing her yet. I still want to see the romance between Tatsumi Kitano and Assassin. Who would say no to a bittersweet love story between them? Not me. Seeing I'm rushing at her, Assassin throws her daggers at me. Which, I easily sliced through them with Yamato.

"I know you are waiting for your poison to show effects. But, guess what? I am immune to it." I saw something shone in her eyes. She looked eager. "And no, I won't love you just because I am immune to your poisons." I rejected her even before she confesses.

She looked heartbroken by it. I know. She was waiting for someone immune to her poison so that she could fall in love. But I refuse! She rushed toward me again but I shot a mirage blade into her knee.

As for Ruler, I told her that I want to test my skills first. So, she's just waiting at the back. I guess a shot in the knee is enough for the punishment. I think she would still be alive until the third night when Manaka would offer her a contract.

I turned and left Assassin after giving her mana enough till tomorrow. After seeing I had finished, Ruler walk near me. "You won't be killing her?" she asked.

"No, I am here to punish her. Not to kill her."

"Fine then. Have it your way."

"By the way, Nobu. What do you want to eat for dinner?"

"I want Pizza!"

"And any plan tomorrow?"

"Will stay home all day and binge-watch Bruce Lee's movies."

I facepalmed. Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you, NEET Nobu. Even in her ad*lt form, she will stay as a NEET.

"Fine. By the way Assassin, I wish you to find your own love," I shouted without looking back.

And thus, slashing Yamato, we went back to our home to eat some Pizza and sleep.

The next morning

Just like every morning, I woke up with Nobu's foot kicking my face. I slapped away her foot and proceed to get up. She is still sleeping like a log. What a sleepy head. I washed my face, brushed my teeth, and prepare breakfast. After eating it, I wake up Nobu.

"I had already prepared breakfast Nobu. Come, get up and eat," I said while pulling off the blanket from her.

"Fine. Fine. I'm up." It seems she got a chill. Her body shivers a little. Of course, she will shiver. She is naked.

"Today breakfast is rice, miso soup, grilled fish, and some side-dishes." I went into the dining room to put the dishes on the table.

"I'm off." I am already at the door.

"Wait, here is your goodbye kiss." After saying that, she proceeds to kiss me on the lips.

"Dammit, Nobu! At least brush your teeth before kissing me."

"Again, with that grumpy face. Smile a little. Oh, hello Nishimiya-san," she then proceeds to greet the neighbor.

"Ah, you newlyweds are fliting in the early morning. What a youth." The neighbor replied while putting a hand on her cheek.

My relationship with Nobu just happened one day. I didn't remember how or when did it happen. I think it was during the fourth month.

"I am off now."

"Off you go."

Just like yesterday, I go to work, not by car, not by train but by Yamato. After arriving at the café, I do my job perfectly just like any other day. Then I heard a bell chime.

"Welcome!"

I saw a young high school boy with brown hair, brown eyes, and, average physical body for his age. Beside him is a young man, with light blond hair, green eyes fancily dressed in a white dress shirt, an olive-green vest, and a black and grey jacket draped across his shoulders. I think I should warn him to change his servant's clothes. Those are Tatsumi Kitano and Berserker pair.

"What would you like to order?" I asked after giving them the menus.

"I would like to have a sunny side up egg with toast and," the high schooler then looks at his partner.

"I will have tea, please."

"Very well. Please wait for a moment." After taking orders, I went inside the kitchen and place the orders. Then I reinforce my hearing to listen to their conversation.

"Berserker? Jekyll? Hyde? What should I call you by?" The boy is clearly an amateur.

"Please call me Berserker in public, Master."

The Master is a novice, isn't he? An ordinary high school boy who has a bright future was pulled in this Death Battle. How ironic. I heard a bell from the kitchen. Seems like the orders are ready. I went toward them to place the orders.

"I mustn't speak of my true name as much as possible. I don't know where the other magi's ears are, if you wish or don't wish it, my true identity is for you to hide."

"Is that true?"

"It is. Quiet, somebody is coming."

"Here are your orders, sunny side up with toast. Plus, a pot of tea for Doctor. And you shouldn't talk about that in public, okay?" Both of them went stiffed after I said that. What? I just warned them with the goodness from my heart.

"You don't need to worry about it. I'm a master of Ruler. And the battle is prohibited during day time," I said with a smile.

"Is that so? By the way, Ruler class? I thought the war only includes seven classes," the boy looked confused.

"So, Ruler is also summoned, huh? And this time, with a master to boost. Normally, a grail serves as a master for Ruler."

"Heh, really?" He still looked confused.

"So, someone is breaking the rules?" Berserker inquired.

"No. Not yet. But I'm to protect non-magus people from servants and masters. And another mission is to make sure the thing inside the Grail does not manifest. I'm really sorry about this, master of Berserker. For an ordinary young man like you to pull into this mess."

"No, No. It's not your fault." He scratches the back of his head.

"You might die if you participate in this war. Are you ready to sacrifice your life for your wish?" I asked.

His eyes look determined. "Yes."

"Second time, are you ready to sacrifice your life for your wish?" I asked again.

His looks don't waver. "Yes."

"And last time, are you sure you are ready to sacrifice your life for your wish and fight as a Master?" I asked for the last time.

"Yes. I'll fight as a Master!" That look in his eyes, he looks like Shirou Emiya when Kirei asked if he wants to fight as a Master.

I smirked and couldn't help but say, "Rejoice, boy."

Those two looked taken aback. "Well then, please enjoy your meal. By the way Berserker, please try to hide the way you dress. Almost nobody wears like it these days."

"Thank you for your advice," he quickly replied after shaking off his confusion. After eating, they got out and went on their merry way.

The day ends and nothing happens during 2nd night. The next morning, when I am at my part-time job, another pair walks in today.

This time, it was a man and woman pair. A man has brownish skin, black hair, black eyes, and wears a black t-shirt with a green hoodie on top. A woman has red shoulder-length hair with a lace band in it. Wears a green dress with a white jumper underneath it. They are Elza Saijo and Archer pair.

"Welcome! May I have your order?" I hand out the menus.

"We would like some beers." The Master chimed in.

"Er… you do know that it is still morning, right? It's not that we don't have beers but I think it would hurt your health."

"Don't worry about it," she said while fanning her hand.

"Is that so? Okay then. Two mugs of beer, right?" She nods her head.

"Coming right up!"

Archer and his master pair should be drinking at Akihabara. But, why here? Never mind. I'll go and place these beers on their table.

"By the way, waiter!"

"Yes?"

"Can we also get a Japanese omelet?"

"Sure."

And thus, went to prepare an omelet. And with Archer in front of me, I can say something I've always wanted to tell him. Placing an omelet plate in front of him, I looked at to talk to him.

I bow my head 90 degrees and said, "I'm sorry, Archer! I'm sorry for working you to death (literally) every day before."

Their eyes widened at the first half then their mind went blank on the second half.

"Er, Mr. Ruler's Master… what are you saying?" Archer asked.

Oh my, a suicide bomber. "Ah… That takes the load off my heart. And I was saying something from my past experience. Don't mind it. And you seem to realize that I am Ruler's Master."

"Yes, we met Berserker and his Master in Akihabara and he informed us about Ruler was being summoned in this Grail War," Archer replied.

"I see, did he also inform you about our mission?" It seems they sit down and talk about it as there was no battle yesterday.

"Yes, he did. And I had also explained my Master about Ruler and their roles."

"I see. It makes me easy then. And Archer's Master, do you wish to ask me something?" I look at the redhead.

"I would like to know what is hiding inside the Grail." Oh my, that's a tricky question.

"Hmm… You can say it is a Beast class Servant," I replied after thinking for a while.

"Beast class Servant?" she tilts her head.

"I am very sorry but I can't talk about it more than its class name." Of course, I bullshit that. Archer looks at me, but I shake my head. I can't derail the canon more than this.

"Now, if you excuse me, I would like to continue my work." I quickly get away from there.

They drunk 4 mugs of beer and paid the bills. Are they immune to being drunk? I don't know. But I finished my shift for today. I don't have anything to do tonight. Ah… today is 3rd day of the Holy Grail War. There's Saber vs. Lancer fight tonight. I am so not missing this.

About 5 hours later,

Too much for asking not to derail canon too much. "For fu*k sake! Why did she drink her love potion in front of me!" I couldn't help but shout with all my might.

In a certain deepest part of the Root, four of our MC's friends are rolling on the floor while grabbing their stomachs. "HAHAHAHAHA"
