embarrassed af (shit)

bright light is shining in my face. i squint as i get up to see that i do not recognise my surroundings. scared i quickly go up to the window and look outside. i remember this place. my memory started coming back and i slowly recovered yesterday's results. i was in jacob bill's mansion. how could i happen to be here. i could not imagine how lucky i was.

i entered the bathroom. it was just as luxurious as the bedroom. my whole house could have fit inside this room and bathroom. i quickly brushed and took a bath. i left the bathroom and was going towards my wardrobe. i wasnt alone in the room. jacob was sitting on my bed, waiting for me. i just had a towel wrapped around me. surprised, i threw my hands up and screamed. ohh shit what did i just do? i left my towel unsupported. it fell to the ground and i was fully exposed. i am sooo embarrassed. my face has probably gone red. jacob looks stunned. he. is. staring. at. me.

i want to run back to the bathroom and hide myself. but i cant. i am frozen. why does this have to happen to me. jacob recover s befote me.

what is he doing? he is coming towards me.

he comes picks my towel up without a word and wraps it around me. finally free i look up at him. in those golden eyes. he looms soo sincere he leads me and sits me on the bed and then just leaves.

still thinking about what happened for a few minutes when a maid comes into my room. she hands me some clothes and tells me to put them on.

i get dressed and go downstairs. i see that jacob is at a table having breakfast. still embarassed i keep my head down and sit down at the table.

" hi maria, good morning." he says as if nothing just happened upstairs at my room.

"good morning, thanku for letting me stay overnight. btw how do you jnow my name?"

"how could i not know tour name?" he mumbles as if not wanting me to inderstamd what he just said.

confused, i ask" what?"
