The Town

Tara and I woke up early getting ready with me. I was so excited. I know I told them we were friends, but I could see being more than friends with either of them. I'm so lucky to have two amazing young men wanting to spend time with me. Although I can't help but wonder if Devin will be there today...

At the bus I waited for them to show up.

Most the groups stayed separated while waiting. Tara stood next to me, a boy came up next to her. He was cute, she seemed really into him. I have my necklace on to keep from getting a headache on the bus. So I can't read their minds right now. Their faces are easy to read, Tara had been so busy talking about my life she didn't tell me about hers that explains why she dressed up.

I see Aaron coming. He is walking up in a blue thin long sleeve shirt, tan cargo pants. As he gets closer, others start to notice. Tara looks nurves.

"You don't have to hang with me Tara, that young man seems to want you attention today."

"but you know what he is right?" She glanced nervously at Aaron.

"I'm fine I know what he is thinking remember? go on have fun he will keep me safe."

Tara runs off right before Aaron gets to me.

"Yay you made it I was beginning to think neither of you was coming!" I hug Aaron happily.

" well I'm here now do you want to get on the bus?"

" no I am still hoping Alex comes too. I had plans." Although the plan is to take them both to a fancy dinner tonight in hopes that they get along.

"well if he's not here soon we'll miss the bus."

"He is coming I feel it."

"Another witch power?"

"Maybe? He's here!"

I run to the back of the crowd. Sure enough it was him, He had blue jeans and a big black hoodie covering his hands and face with sun glasses on. I hugged him.

"you made it!"

"I keep my word" Alex said with a slight smile. I take his hand that's still covered by the sweatshirt and move him through the crowd back to were Aaron was " we can get on now." I'm so happy they both made it, and that they are getting along for me. I don't want my friends to fight.

We quickly get on the bus and move to the back the windows on the bus have a special coating on them, just like the school windows. once we are in the bus Alex takes his glasses off. The three of us set on the bench seat on the back of the bus. With me in the middle. I'm smiling ear to ear, but Aaron and Alex are not. I want to know what they are thinking but there are so many people close by. I'm leaving the necklace on my wrist I will take it off later. Once it's just us, I hope their not trying to talk to me.

we didn't talk much on the long drive. The town is small it's like going back in time. There are lots of shop's and a couple restraints. Most the people in the town are working. They most like all of us coming once a week. It's not the whole school but it's a lot of us. We this town probably loves our money. The people in this town are exceptionally ordinary. It makes me realize that the school really is very different from the world.

I spend most of the day dragging the boys around from store to store, it's getting late and I'm getting hungry. I have one more store I want to go in before we eat. It's a punk store. They have spikey bracelets, belts, necklaces, along with a lot of other cool fashion pieces. They have stuff for men and women, the back of the store has adult toys. I have to remember here I'm supposed to be an adult. Back home I wouldn't be aloud in a store like this. I try not to look at them at all. I asked Aaron and Alex to wait outside this store because, I want to get them something to remember our first day hanging out. I find a necklace that looks cool it's an eye shaped red stone with bat wings and a sword throw the middle, it makes me think of Alex, as I grab it I noticed that I have my necklace on my wrist still, I forgot to take it off this whole time. I see a collar and think about getting it for Aaron for a second but after imagining him on the other side of a leash I didn't want it. I found a cresent moon necklace. That was way better it worked for all 3of us it could be our friendship necklaces.

After checking out I looked out side and saw they were gone. I looked up and down the street trying to find them but I didn't see them anywhere. I went back to the shop where I left them. There was some blood on the ground only a couple of drops they probably are fighting somewhere I look at my necklace still on my wrist this is all my fault one of them is hurt because I didn't listen to them. I made them come here I'm a bad friend.

"Hey, Miss. are you looking for your two friends?"

"yes did you see where they went?"

"They got in to a bit of a fight. They split up, I don't know where one went but the other is this way, I'll take you to where I saw him last."

"Thank you so much for the help" I got to find them and fix this.

He walks me down a street away from the middle of town and there are a couple of closed down shop's. I'm starting to get a weird feel, like I'm in danger.

" Right down that way. " he points between two buildings, they are only like 6 feet apart. Their is some one at the end I can't see. I take my necklace off my wrist, sliding it in to my pocket as I walk down the narrow path.

'Shes a good one'

'this will be fun'

'hope no one finds us'

'good girl keep walking'

"I'm just going to go" I turn to run.

"aren't you still worried about your friend?"

'your not going anywhere'

"He'll be fine I really must go someone is looking for me."

"aww, now now no lying to us, that's bad, I might have to teach you a lesson."

'yeah we'll punish her'

'i like bad girls'

"helph!!!!" I try to scream, but he covers mouth. I wish I could hear their thoughts, what they want to do to me, what they are going to do.
