Dream vs reality

He's brother may be as perverted as him but he is more of a gentleman, less pushy.

Anyway I'm so tired. I'm going to eat good for breakfast.

I wonder if Devin finished his picture. I close my eyes and drift off to sleep.

I dream of Devin again. I dream of him a lot.

I dream we are by a stream and he is topless.

We are both out of breath under the full moon.

The dream passes by like multiple photos one after another.

ripped clothes

blood

my blood, his blood

his face is painful

he has tears in his eyes

I have long cuts on my arms and back

my eyes are red

my eyes are closed

Devin flew away with his big black wings.

shouting in the distance.

Some ones yelling my name

Then I wake up. Terrified my heart is racing, I'm breathing heavily. I feel like I just died.

"Hey, you ok Marie?" it's Jr., Aaron is sound asleep.

"oh yeah just a bad dream sorry did I wake you?"

"um, yeah but it's alright it's nearly morning. here you take my bed and go back to sleep. I'm going to go make some coffee and get ready for the day." Jr. Answers in a shaking voice, as he yawns.

"oh thank you so much. To be honest the hard floor might have something to do with the dream. Are you sure you are awake for the day."

"yeah" I'm good he said heading out of the room. It's still so dark out. The bed is warm, and it smells nice it makes me think of Aaron's bed. I quickly fall back asleep. I don't remember dreaming this time. I'm so comfortable, I feel safe.

The sun is warm. I feel it on my face. There is also a hand on my face.

"good morning, Marie. I didn't think you would take my brother's bed. I'm disappointed. I wanted you to craw in to bed with me."

"so that's why you faked being asleep?"

"oh you knew,"

"duh" I laughed

"so what do you think about taking my brother's bed?"

"well since you asked it's warm, soft and smells good. Smells a lot like you, just a little different."

"whatever" he looks angery.

"you asked" I laughed. "let's get ready"

We both get ready.

I'm hoping to be over the whole miss understanding from yesterday. I still have an ominous feeling about my dream. I feel like it had a purpose. It was a lot like my shared memories with Alex.

We head down for breakfast, and there is a bunch of foods. Fruit and veggies, meat and eggs. There is coffee and juice. There is also six more people plus some tiny kids. They all seem to know each other really well. They are smiling and laughing and have fun. It's nice they all notice me as I walked down the steps. I feel like I have knifes in me. There are so many thoughts as once I can't make much out.

'her...' 'shes...'

I try to focus on Aaron.

'come on lest eat your fine' he must notice my social anxiety here.

We make plates and set at a table with a couple other people. One of witch is Jr. he looks tried. That's probably my fault.

"so who are all these people?" I ask quietly.

"just family and friends. There will be more later on." Aaron said.

"I'm sure your family misses you" one of the girls at the table said.

"no I'm sure they are fine."

"don't your family gather for the holidays?" some man

"no, it's normally just me and my mom, my dad's always working."

"That's very unusual for a wolf family we naturally like to be in groups." A girl

"Well we aren't really a wolf family." I said.

"but you and Aaron go to school together?" Jr.

I'm eating as much as I can while talking. Being careful to not talk with food in my mouth as the question never stop. I nod yes.

"so if you are not a wolf what are you?" girl

"She's a witch." Aaron answered quickly.

I smiled. "yep, I have some wolf too, but I consider myself a witch, because that's what feels natural. Enough about me. I'm excited to see so many new faces. Tell me about yourself." They introduced themselves and we talked long after we were done eating. After awhile we played some card games. It was so nice to be part of them. I almost forgot that they were not ordinary people.

Hours pass by the time we leave the table. There are more new faces. Aaron takes me back to his room. I'm so glad to get a break from all those people. I instantly lay on the bed and exhale deeply.

"you alright," Aaron asked.

"yeah I'm just not use to all the socializing." I laugh at my pathetic self.

*knock knock knock* knocking on the door.

"Aaron, hey, the girls and I were wondering if we could steal your girlfriend for awhile. We were heading out for a bit of girl time. " A beautiful young woman stands in the door.

"I don't know if she's up to is."

"I'd love to, but I'm not his girlfriend we are just friends." I walk over with my bag. "I'm Marie, what's your name?"

"yay! I'm Julie, well come on."

we hurry out the door. We get in a car out front. As Julie drives down the road I introduce myself to the other ladies. There are 3 other women in the vehicle.

They seem like they are up to something. We head to the back of the subdivision. There are new and unfinished homes. I am sorry ladies I don't trust you I'm going to listen to your thoughts.

'shes never going to forget today'

*Devin I think I'm in trouble. These girls are driving me to the woods. At the end of the subdivision. They keep lying to me, and their thoughts are scarring me. I'm going to make a run for it as soon as I can, I will run the detection of the settings sun. You said to tell if I need help. I think I will. I'll message you again when I'm somewhere safe. or if it turns out to be nothing* I put my phone in my pocket and grab my bag tight.

"so girls. what are we going to be doing?"

I ask.

"We are going to go on a hike in the sun. "

well if they know their is no use hiding it.

I see the woods.

"well I guess this is it, hum. Ladies it was a pleasure to meet you all. Your truly beautiful women." 'shes not getting out of it that easy'

"You see a couple of months ago this world was fiction and I'm still learning a lot about myself." ' easy target'

"Out of respect for Aaron I will try not to hurt any of you. I know what you are planning. I don't have a way to stop you ladies. I never asked to be born with Vampire eyes." 'dont think we will take pity on you freak'

"that being said I'm not going to wait for you to attack me, since I cant really fight. Bye"

I jump out of the car as it's coming to a stop. The woman next to me grabbed my arm but I pulled free. Her razer like nails cut my arm. Great I'm bleeding already. I run, as fast as I can. They fallow.
