It Was a pretty unusual night

The deadly silence, as if the world was holding its breath

And the night sky so illuminated with stars that it could be mistaken as a painting

On that night, 4 individuals where gifted something no one would ever expect…

<Science!>]

"What the hell is this?" The boy thought

He was currently blind, deaf and paralysed

He wasn't quite sure by what exactly, but it's been around 117,354,893,870 seconds, or approximately 3,700 years since he started counting

*Crack*

The sound of stone cracking and shattering was heard

Slowly, he felt his body being able to move, and his sight returning

He looked around him to see what happened

He saw bits of rubble, and the fact that he was in a jungle

The strange purple screen was still lingering in front of him but he had no time to think about it

He quickly arranged all the rubble that fell of him, examining where he first escaped and so on and so forth

Realising that he started to be free by his head, he took all of the shards of stone and buried them somewhere

He then went up to a tree and wrote down the exact date

"April 1st 5718" he said "I've awoken at the perfect time to survive, the first day of spring!"

Now getting all the important things out of the way, he shifts his attention to the pesky screen in front of him, typing something out to test if it's real or not, as most hallucination don't interact with changes willed by the hallucinator

[Lord of Useless Information: Hello?]

Seeing that it had changed, he was able to identify that it's not your average hallucination, but Not wanting to waste all his time on that, he gets some non poisonous leaves to cover himself up and tries to get some necessities

He then took a stick and started spining it on a bit of kindling and another stick

After a few hours, he realised that it won't work

"I've got neither the stupidly good dexterity of Yuzuriha, nor the idiotic Endurance of that meat head Taiju, so I've got to do this logically.. " He mumbled to himself as he perused through his memories for something to help him within his precarious situation

Taking a curved stick and getting some rope by unfurling a bit of vine, he got some simple rope, he then attached that rope to each end of the curved stick, making a kind of bow

He then took another stick and a rock and started using the bow method to start a fire

It Was already almost sun set so he had to work fast

He saw a small spark and put some kindling on it, blowing on it to strengthen the fire

*Crackle*

He had finally got some fire to help himself from freezing to death

He went out a bit and gathered some mushrooms to help him not starve to death, and looked back at the chat

[World Champion Cat Lover: Hello]

[Blank Faced : Hi?]

Seeing the strange Nicknames the hallucinatory screen had gave him, he chuckled to himself about his subconscious's sence of Humor

He looked at the screen in a bit more detail, examining it

It Was strangely detailed

He went over and checked some other tabs, finding something called a "Weekly Login"

He pressed on the screen and took his "Login Reward"

[Obtained Silver Ticket, 10000 TP]

[You have gained Talent Points, check out the shop to use it!]

[You Have Gained a Ticket, Open the Lottery to use it!]

He did as he was told and opened the shop

He saw many things that would be of extreme help, like raw materials

But there was also something called Skills

Utilising his experience with Taiju's ceasless ramblings about anime and games, he scrolled through to try and find something worth wasting his time on

"This is a pretty good distraction, my chances of staying sane might be a lot higher now that I can talk to 'people'" he said "though I doubt I'm sane if I'm seeing this…"

He found no skills that would really be useful

He did find some "magic" skills but he didn't really care for them

He bought a simple knife, some non perishable foods and some durable clothing, as well as a tent

It all costed 145 TP, it was all in his cart

He grinned at himself, pressing the "buy" button

His grin suddenly faded when a bright light, even brighter than the fires flames appeared in front of him

In front of him was the same Nameless brand clothes, tent, foods and knife that he was hallucinating about

"Magic? No…if it needs Talent Points to work, then it follows the Law of Equivilant Exchange…if it follows laws, then its science, and if its science…" he mumbled to himself, examining the objects in front of him

Checking if they're real

"If I consider TP to be an energy, then this little…system is a user friendly way of showing you what could be made with it, but then what about the teleportation…?"

He kept on mumbling to himself, his mind rushing to create diffrent theories about it

He logically just wanted to ignore it, and make use of it without caring about its origin, but his mind simply yearned to learn about the mechanics of it, even if it was a little detrimental to his main goal of reviving all of humanity…
