The Spider Leaves Its Web

He wouldn't allow for Mia to go through it alone like he had. He would be there for her. He immediately texted back: "OMG! I'm so sorry! Where's your address, I'm coming over right now!"

'As expected~, Sky is truly too kind for his own good~!' Mia smirked, while texting back her apartment address. After some time, Sky finally arrived, ringing the doorbell, to which a disheveled Mia answered. With red, puffy eyes and tears still streaming down her face, she muttered weakly. "Sky?"

Sky immediately felt his heart wrench. How could fate do this to her? To such an angel-like person? For once, he felt that life truly was unfair, punishing the good and rewarding the evil. "That's me!" He smiled wryly while drawing her in for a hug, pressing her soft body against his chest, while rubbing her back, whispering words of comfort. "Shhhh… Shhh… It's going to be alright." He whispered, gently patting her head while embracing Mia, still quietly "sobbing" into his chest, who in actuality was grinning and breathing heavy breaths concealed by her loud sobbing to take in her beloved's scent. 'Ahhh~! Bliss~~! How I wish we could be like this forever! Just me and him, embracing each other for all eternity! With Darling's warmth, I feel like I could melt~'

After a while, Mia's sobs grew more controlled, and she finally realized that they were still standing outside. Awkwardly smiling, she invited him inside, where they sat down next to each other on a comfy leather coach, where Sky decided to open up to Mia a bit more, in the hopes of making her feel better.

"You know, my mom… she also passed away about 3 years ago… And I just wanted to let you know that it's rough you know? But I know you'll pull through" he started, eyes full of absolute trust towards Mia, "because you're the kindest, most cheerful, most beautiful girl I've ever met." He finished, turning away slightly, embarrassed at what he just said. Mia clutched her chest, feeling as if it was skewered by multiple arrows of love. He was too cute, too cool! Blushing slightly, she looked downward with a sad smile while responding:

"Then why are all these bad things happening to me now? First the love of my life rejects me, then my grandpa dies? What's next?" She chuckled despondently, her voice bitter.

"I can't bring your grandpa back to life… but… the first part? That's something I can do something about." With that, Sky, turned to face her again, his face serious, before continuing. "After spending so much time with you, I've realized that you have become someone so important in my life that I can't live without you. Your cheerfulness, your playfulness, your smile, your eyes… I love it all. So, Mia Dawn, would you… would you be my girlfriend?"

Overwhelmed with emotions and a goofy smile on her face, she cried out: "Yes! Yes! I would love to be your girlfriend!" She threw herself at Sky, hugging him tightly before pressing her lips against his, but this time, not as "more than friends", but as girlfriend boyfriend. Time itself seemed to stop as they relished in each others' warmth, and the fast rhythm of their heartbeats. They finally pulled away reluctantly, before embracing each other once more, basking in the ecstasy of now being lovers.

"I love you~." Mia said softly.

"I-I love you too." Sky responded.

Nothing more needed to be said, and with Mia's "dead grandpa" now forgotten, both Mia and Sky dreamed of what was to come and their future together. After a while, Sky's head fell to one side, leaning against Mia's shoulder. He fell asleep. Mia's eyes widened in joy, before her eyes curled up into crescents, grinning, as she gently laid her beloved's head on her lap, caressing his soft hair. 'You're mine now Darling~, and nobody will separate us again. NO ONE.'

Suddenly, Sky's phone buzzed, a text. Mia picked his phone up, opening it up (after years of "research", obviously Mia would have his phone password) before taking a look at the sender: Weaver_of_Fate.

"Dreaming_of_Clouds, why aren't you online yet?"

"Are you ok?"

"Did you fall asleep~?"

"Why are you ignoring me?"

That was the last text message sent, only 5 minutes after the last one. Mia, picked up the phone and quickly typed "This is Dreaming_of_Clouds' girlfriend~. He's asleep right now don't worry. I'm sure Darling would respond tomorrow~." 'Maybe she's a harlot who wants to steal my Darling too! Better safe than sorry~!' Mia thought to herself.

"Ara? Dreaming_of_Cloud has a girlfriend? That loner~? Ara ara~, I don't believe you~." Weaver_of_Fate responded immediately. By way of her response, Mia was becoming more and more convinced that Sky's online "friend" was a woman.

'This bitch needs to know her place.' Mia's eyes dulled, before she came up with a brilliant idea. She took a selfie of her doing peace sign and smiling with the sleeping Sky on her lap, blurred out Sky's face and then sent it.

"Ara~ The audacity of this bitch…" I muttered under my breath, twirling one of my braids, my smile becoming strained. How did I know that the person, Sky, in the picture was Dreaming_of_Cloud? Well, let's just say they don't call me the "Spider" aka as the most wanted hacker for nothing~. Trust me when I say that I know everything about Sky.

It seems that I was too patient with my advances, and someone else stole him away from me. My eyes turned cold. It seems someone needs to learn their place. No one steals prey from my web. Ufufufu~. My body shrunk, with my abdomen and extra legs shrinking inwards, giving way to human legs. Ara~, I haven't done that in such a long time, it feels so weird to "stretch my legs".

Now… it seems that I would have to arrange for… a transfer student at Yokai High School. I wiped the chat history of me and Sky from when I started to converse with that bitch. Crawling down from my room suspended by a network of intricate webs on the ceiling, smiling slightly, a cruel glint in my eyes. Nothing good happens when you force a spider to leave its' web.
