The Author's POV.

When the woman was done with her call, she came back and met Yulan, who was looking at things in strange manner.

Ah Lam just met this girl but there was one thing she was certain about her. She had amnesia and a proper attention of a medical doctor was what she needed.

"I called a family doctor. He said we should meet him at the hospital" She told the lady.

A hospital? Yulan's eyes brows furrowed in confusion. Who was that ? She didn't know whose name was hospital but it sounded like he or she might help her find Li Lian. Or even this woman could. The plan was to stick with the stranger since she was still new to this city or the human world at large.

"I don't know who is that ? But is fine , if he does not look at the me the way all these people did when they first saw me" Yulan said, looking around the environment once again. There, she saw it, lying in the sand. The necklace that Li Lian gave to her before he left the sea.

"A hospital is a place where sick people are treated and also any one can go for a check up. It's just a place where you can talk to the doctor and tell him, how you feeling" Ah Lam explained. Her eyes were searching to see if she managed to convince her.

But Yulan's eyes were focused on the necklace. Quickly, she rushed to where it's was and picked it. Mother did not disappoint at all. Although she was angry and against this mission of hers.

She still gave her everything she needed.

"What we're you saying about sir hospital?" Yulan asked when she came back with he necklace. The woman's expression still showed the shock it's had at the time they met. "Fine. I will go where ever you want as long as you are ready to help me."

The woman showed how pleased she was by smiling and stretching her left hand forward "Ah Lam is my name. What is yours?"

"Yulan" she uttered slowly, bringing her hand forward. Mother said it's won't hurt if she shook hands with the humans. So she did.

"Nice meeting you. But don't you have another name?" The woman asked. "I mean what is your father's name?"

"I don't have a father. My mother is the only parents I ever had" Yulan said, bitterly. Those were the reasons why she came to this place, to find her father and Li Lian, the love of her life.

"Let's go. My car is parked over there" Ah Lam said pointing at black Benz, which was closed to the buildings across the road. "We will walk to there."

It's wasn't easy for Yulan when they started walking. The sand was much terrible to walk upon. She kept limping and falling.

She wondered how on Earth did Ah Lam walked with those legs? The woman was fast and comfortable with those legs of hers.

When they got to the car. Yulan found out there were many of them . She wondered what was this thing? May be it was a play house? When she was in the sea, Umeko and Sakura always surprised her with play houses. Maybe this woman was trying to replace her best friends, how sweet of her. Yulan started tearing up.

"What happened to you? You don't like the car? Ah Lam asked. She wanted Yulan to feel comfortable with her so that she could find a way to help her.

Ah Lam was well know for charity deals. She owned an orphanage In Hong Kong and Beijing . Her dreams were to fulfil the wishes of her first son who died on the sea while going for a vacation. It's was strange that no body survived that accident except the young master of the Lis. He was indeed lucky to have made it home safely.

"I missed all my friends. My mother too. I wondered when my eyes will see them again" Yulan said, wiping the tears with the back of her hand. Ah Lam removed a white clean handkerchief and gave it to her.

"Use this to clean those ugly tears on your face. They want to spoil your beauty". Even though Yulan was looking strange, unkempt and old-fashioned . Ah Lam Could not hide the fact that she was beautiful to the earth.

Her gold messy hair sparkled in the sun matching with her fair skin. She wasn't slim but chubby. Yet, her body still carried the aura of a beautiful young lady. Ah Lam wasn't sure of her age but the girl should be in her teens.

"Get in to the car Yulan , we shouldn't keep the doctor waiting. He has other patients to attend to" Ah Lam said, while unlocking the car. She opened the door and sat while the strange girl just stood looking at her. Wait! Did she forgot how to use a car too? If yes, then this was the beginning of her problems she thought.

"Is this also strange to you?"

"Yes. I don't want to play now. There are many matters I should be attending to right now" Yulan said with a frown. The woman said they were going to see someone while did she wants to play now,?

"Who said you should play ?" Ah Lam could not help but wondered who asked her to do so. She barely finish her when Yulan thrust a finger at her.

"Me? This is car. We can drive to anywhere you want us to go using this vehicle" she gave her smile. "Just trust me and I will show you what this machine is capable of."

She started to believe Ah Lam now. There was no harm in trying.

Ah Lam went to where Yulan was standing she opened the door by the right side of the car. She went back to the left and opened it.

She entered the car and sat down, Yulan did same. A smile appeared on her face again.

Ah Lam closed the door gently and waited for her to do the same.

Gbaam!!!

Came the sound of the car door. Yulan almost removed the door. When she looked at Ah Lam face, her mouth was opened wide.

"Sorry" she said covering her face with the both of her hands.

Ah Lam had no choice but to laugh at what happened.

It's been long she laughed like this after the death of son.
