Water was her weakness in the human world. Yulan jumped in to the swimming pool. Her skin was burning while she sat at the living room with Ah Lam.
The water was not as good as the sea but she could managed. There was no choice to make.
Under the cold water , she sat down wondering where Li Lian could be. She missed him a lot. Yulan wished they came back to human world together.
Queen Ying told her that she was going to drop her in the same city, she dropped Li Lian five years ago. Things must have changed within these years.
But, she would never forget the face of the man she loved no matter how much change he must have undergo. It's was a strong bond that connected them. An everlasting one. Her mother told her that would never be able to fall in love again, but Li Lian could because he was a human.
In fact Yulan was told by her mother's concierge that Li Lian could fall in love ten times in a single year. This made her afraid. What if he was already in love with another person? How would she be able to live with this for the rest of her life?
"Yulan!"
She heard her name. It's was Ah Lam's voice. Yulan' forgot that they were watching a movie together. The coming of visitor was a good excuse for her to swim.
Quickly, Yulan came out of the water. She dried her hair and body with a towel.
"I am coming aunt" She answered, wearing clothes. The pajamas was not her size. They were too small for her wide hips but she had no choice than to manage.
When Yulan got to the living room, Ah Lam was alone. She wondered why the visitor left do soon.
"Where is your visitor aunt ?"
Ah Lam looked at the girl in front of her. She went to take her bath again. "You bathed again ?"
"Oh. Yes I did" Yulan replied, ruffling her hair. A thing she would do whenever she was shy.
"That's good but funny. Come and have a seat" Ah Lam said. "It's was the young master but he left."
"Wow. I missed such an important guest for a bath. What a bad luck" Yulan joked. "I thought it was his anniversary tonight ?"
"Yes but he had a fight with his wife that he came to me" she replied, sipping the drink again.
"I feel sad for him. If the host came to see you, where did Yang Mi go to ?" Yulan asked.
"I don't know. Let me try calling her". Ah Lam picked up her phone from the couch and dialed her daughter's line. It's started ringing but stopped seconds later. "That lunatic ended the call in me."
The door opened and Yang Mi walked to the room. She looked quite happy. "Mom, guess what happened at the party ?"

Chu Hua could not close her eyes even when Mūqīn told her to sleep. She sat on the bed while waiting for Li Lian. 'When he could be ?' She asked her self.
What if he was in another woman's house ? It's was possible, he became tired of her.
She stood from the bed and paced around the room. Chu Hua prayed that whatever Li Qin said earlier should just be her imagination and nothing else.
A horn came from outside the gate interrupting her silly thoughts. Her room was closed to the gate despite being upstairs, she could see whoever was outside the house.
The car, she saw belonged to her senior sister in law.
'That should be Li Lian'
Chu Hua went to bathroom and turned on the shower. She took a quick bath.
When Li Lian got to the house, it's was already one o'clock in the morning. The house was dark and no body seemed to be awake. He hurried to his bedroom to take a rest. Tomorrow was another day of working and he hated going to work late.
There was no one in the room. Chu Hua was not in. He removed his clothes and laid down on the bed. In less, than five minutes, Li Lian was asleep.
Chu Hua was surprised when she saw him sleeping. He entered the room few minutes ago and she heard when the door slammed.
He looked more handsome with his eyes closed. Chu Hua covered him with a blanket and laid next to him.
If Li Lian happens to leave her, everything she ever worked for would go down the drain. People would forget that she was once Madam Li. The fame, money and power would be taken away from her.
'I won't lose everything just like that' Chu Hua muttered. 'They worked so hard to make me the Young mistress.'
(But who were they?).
