5 Chapter 5: Mana Purifying Engine

The graduation ceremony reached its end. The students were asked to take rest and sleep for 12 hours at the least.

Allen reached his room, took bath and went to his bed and slept. Serina did not come out of him as she has to stay in him for 20 hours.

Allen slept nearly for 16 hours. The kids in the orphanage and the warden did not disturb him when he was sleeping. When Allen woke up, he saw a plate full of food for him and Serina.

He also noticed a bag with the wooden box given to him at the ceremony laying on the table next to his food. He has worked very hard to get the item that is inside this wooden box.

Allen took bath and ate the food along with Serina who came out of him as soon as he woke up. He didn't say anything as it was more than 20 hours since they integrated.

After eating, he opened the wooden box and saw a small red colour stone inside. This is the time for which Allen has been waiting for four years now.

He is very excited and could feel in his mind link with Serina that she is excited too.

The stone is the Mana purifying engine which will help him to absorb and purify his mana. Mana can be absorbed by humans only after integrating with the monsters. Hence it is provided after the ceremony was completed.

Allen took the stone and checked it. It is a grade-7 Mana engine that he purchased using the money he earned being a freelancer at the farm during weekends and school holidays. It was very costly.

He paid 40 million credits for it which he saved from age of 7. His orphanage warden opened an account for him to save this money just for him.

People who can't buy mana engines will be provided with grade-1 mana engines which at best purify mana to be 40% pure. Only the people who have the highest purity will be able to evolve to a higher stage easily.

He swallowed the stone and it dissolved in his mouth. He sensed the engine forming automatically inside his mana space which is the core of his mana.

The mana engine has 3 suction tubes to suck the mana that is absorbed by him. The suction tubes are connected to a temporary mana storage cylinder which is connected to the condenser to condense the mana cloud to liquid form.

Then the mana liquid goes to the purifier to be purified and at last, there are 5 storage cylinders to store the purified mana. The storage cylinders are connected to the mana nerves to supply mana to the body and another tube is connected to the purifier to keep Purifying the mana to increase its purity.

The process is automated and his mana will continue to be purified as long as he is alive. This purifier is like the second heart for him that circulates mana throughout his body using mana veins.
