Blake vs Commander Jack

Blake was taken aback at the sight of such a large weapon that could cut down five versions of him simultaneously.

However, Blake was confident of his strength.

"What are the rules?" Blake confidently asked.

"No skills. Just a fair show of swordsmanship with whoever runs out of stamina first loses" Commander Jack set the rules of the match.

"You take the first strike" said Blake in a gentlemanly voice.

"Arrogant brat" murmured Commander Jack before dashing towards Blake.

In the eyes of others, Commander Jack was fast enough for them to not be able to clearly see him but in the eyes of Blake, Commander Jack wasn't fast enough.

Commander Jack raised his sword to crush Blake.

A smirk appeared on Blake's face as he dodged the attack so casually before punching Commander Jack in the face.

"You're fast and your attack carries a lot of strength but, it seems that you prioritise strength over speed and your weapon also seems to slow you down" Blake lectured Commander Jack.

Blake had realised that he might not be able to overpower Commander Jack so he would rely on his speed.

'Attack where he doesn't expect' said Blake to himself. The Combat Master skill was in action.

Commander Jack attacked with his sword again but this time, he was aiming to drive his sword through Blake's chest.

Clang!

Blake parried the attack with his sword and was pushed back due to the strength of his opponent.

Blake got out of the way and removed his sword which was holding back Commander Jack's sword and let the latter fall.

Swoosh!

Slash!

Commander Jack raised his head only to feel the wind blow past and suddenly received a cut on his right cheek.

Everyone was surprised as they hadn't even seen Blake move but, this made Jack more angrier.

Jack then got up again and struck his sword towards Blake who blocked again but this was what Jack wanted.

Jack threw a kick to Blake's stomach which caused him to lose his footing for a second but Jack took advantage of that by hitting Blake's sword away.

Jack began to slam his sword into the ground which kept making small craters and dusts as he wanted to crush Blake who kept rolling out of danger.

Jack then swung his sword towards Blake's head.

Clang!

Jack was shocked to find out that he couldn't force his sword any further. When the dust settled, the figure of a cloaked being appeared in Blake's position.

"Who is that?"

"Is that Blake?"

"Why is his sword not piercing through that cloak?"

The Soul Warriors began to murmur among themselves as they wondered what was happening.

Bang!

Blake, who was wearing his Traveller's Cloak, punched Jack really hard in the stomach.

Blake took off the hood part of the cloak and revealed a smile.

Jack was confused as to how it was possible for Blake's cloak to block his attack.

But, when he saw Blake's smile, he lost it and began attacking like he had gone mad.

You could say that he was like a Broly.

Blake continued to dodge until, he found an opening and that opening came when Jack's movements became sloppy.

Blake delivered a powerful kick to the mouth of Jack punched him in the chest which made Jack lose his weapon as he fell to the ground.

Cough!

Commander Jack got back up and coughed up blood before regaining his posture.

Blake and Jack began exchanging blows with the former hitting the latter in any open spot and the latter targeting the head of the former.

After several punches and kicks, Blake and Jack found themselves on the opposite side of where their weapons were located.

""Pass my weapon!"" Blake and Jack shouted in unison towards the people who were near their weapons.

A man threw Blake's sword while another man threw Jack's giant sword.

Blake and Jack both jumped into the air and used their left hands to grab their weapons and used their right hands to punch each other in the face.

Blake and Jack stared eachother in the eyes as they were both depletion their stamina.

Actually, Blake still had enough stamina to keep him going for about two more hours.

"Tired already I see" teased Blake.

"If you are then, you can just quit like the little bitch that you are" Blake insulted Jack yet again as his plan was to first break Jack mentally be

Blake's comment made some of the Soul Warriors from both the Fire Gang and newbies burst out laughing.

That was it. Jack had gotten enough of Blake's rudeness and disrespect.

At this point, Jack no longer cared about the rules and just wanted to crush this brat who kept humiliating him.

Jack suddenly became surrounded by an orange light and his aura grew to the point that it made Blake shudder.

After the orange light vanished from, the figure of a more muscular and imposing Jack came to be that would make any woman drool. But the most striking feature of this new form was Jack's aura which was now terrifying to the point that it made some weaker Soul Warriors faint.

"You're cheating!" Scarlett yelled out.

"Shut up!" Jack yelled out as he threw his sword towards her chest.

The sword moved so fast that she couldn't dodge it.

Clang!

Blake appeared in front of Scarlett and covered her as the sword hit his cloak.

Scarlett was shocked as she hadn't felt or seen Blake move. She just continued staring at his face.

Blake had not been using his full speed since the fight started but seeing Scarlett in danger, he pushed his limits and arrived in front of her before she would get killed.

Blake turned back and looked at Jack with anger in his eyes.

"How dare you" said Blake.
