"W-wait..... Don't hurt me please? I'm just an ordinary people, i don't have anything useful in me." A lean young man with a dark green edgy hair and thin body was begging for mercy. Since he have no cultivations, he was destined to be in the bottom of the food chain.

"Jiang Wu, we know that you're an ordinary that's why we picked you to bully. We know too that you don't have a powerful background and both your parents died during the 'Death God Sovereign Golden Accident'.

He is Jiang Wu, 18 years old, because of his broken dantian, he can't cultivate. His parent died in the 'Death God Sovereign Golden Accident'.

A long time ago the Cloud Mountain World, the world where Jiang Wu lives, was in peace and all of the people was just cultivating. Aside from the few skirmishes and light killings, no major war happened. After 800 years of peace, a God Sovereign suddenly died and opened a crack in the space, many kind of foreign qis leak into the world that caused the world rules, laws, balance in power to have some changes, albeit small, it has a big impact to the beings that lived in the Cloud Mountain World. The monster to mutate and caused many places, inheritance, resources, items, and mysteries to appear in various places.

They dubbed it as 'Death God Sovereign Golden Accident'. Since that accident, the world never returned to its peacefulness. There comes many wars for territories, weapons, resources, materials, and even lands.

"I don't know what i did to you, but if i did something wrong please forgive me." Jiang Wu said, he was full of bruises and wound and even his mouth has blood leaking from it.

"You didn't do anything wrong, we just want to bully you Jiang Wu." The fat man who was wearing a gold rimmed robe with a pattern of two dragons coiling it was embroidered in it said.

He was Zi Wei, the only son of the governor of the Rain Peak City, Zi Xian. The Rain Peak City is one of the largest city of Qin Empire. It was located in the east are of West Continent. While Zi Xian is a general. Everyone know him by the nickname, One-Eyed Ruthless General, everyone gave him that nickname because he was ruthless and because of the serious wound in his left eye that he can't open it anymore.

He waved his hand and four bulky people who was wearing a leather armor and a helmet. It is clear that they are city guards.

Jiang Wu tried to ran further from them but because of the difference in their speed, the city guards catch up to him immediately. He was running for his life while being beaten to the death. They beat him for two hours before they left him almost breathless.

He made up his mind to left the city and wander around nowhere. In his mind, it is better for him to wander in the dangerous area than to be beaten to death almost everyday.

He rest for three hours before he walked deeper into the forest.

"Those bastards. I swear i'll make them payback two hundred- no ten thousand fold for what they did." He said while clenching his hand and walked deeper in the forest.

He aimlessly walked for seven hours, it was until the sun ray hit him that he look for a place to sleep and rest. He found a cave narrow cave and explore it, after a while he found that no beast was able to come there then decided to sleep.

It was morning in the next until, Jiang Wu woke up. He saw that his wounds and bruises started to heal.

He continued to explore the cave because, he was curious why beasts didn't go to this cave when almost all caves in the forest was taken by the beast to be their homes.

At the end of the cave he saw a bright light, he was anxious and started to hesitate to continue or not. After sometime of thinking, the memories of him being beaten by Zi Wei for 12 years flashback in his mind. He clenched his fist and steeled his resolve. He chose to go further to the cave. He run to reach the end only to see a broken palace that is floating in mid air.

"Wow! I know that since that event, many mysterious places appeared in the world but, am i still in the Cloud Mountain World? " Jiang Wu can hide his amazement. It is the first time he a beautiful place like this so it was natural for him to be amazed.

"I wish theres no danger here or i'll be dead." He said to himself. He climbed the floating ladder that leads toward the broken palace.

Along the way, he found many treasures, but he didn't take them because it will only slow him down. It was now noon but Jiang Wu still haven't explored half of the palace. It was basically a messed.

After a thirty minutes of walk, Hes path lead him to a room. Beside a golden box, there many boxes of resources, forging and building materials, bookshelves that is full of books, and a black glass slate.

He took the box and opened it. A ball of golden light escape from the box and penetrated to the center of his eyebrows.
