This novel is so bad I couldn't go further than 30 chapters. The first 15 chapters were so confusing I had to read them twice, the 15 that followed were written by a child. It s even worse than a plot armor, the MC meet someone or go somewhere whether he meet some B-movie villain or some god he will react like "Yeah whatever". The only good point is that his "card/gacha game" power and Hunter like jobs sounds somewhat interresting. If you're looking for a better novel close to the spirit of this one, I recommend "Dark King".

It feels like the characters don’t exist until the main character is in the picture. I can’t count how many default suprise lines these individuals shout out when the main character does anything mildly suprising. And I hate how badly the characters are built because the idea is so good! The power system is so good! I keep coming back simply because I want to love this story I really do! But I hate the execution. If a aspiring author ever needs a example of how bad story telling and world building can ruin a otherwise awesome story I would point to this. If your just getting into webnovels then this is for you but for anyone else it’s basically torture

As a Web Novel no doubt this is excellent but i just don't like how slow it updates i mean previously it was like 7 chaps per week the it started decreasing and now it often stops updating and when they start releasing again they don't even do a mass release.

Somehow the story seems very disjointed and feels like its dragging on a little bit... Just feel like it would take over 10000 chapters for the story to progress to the main villians... Not sure that is a good thing... The MC is really not progressing, no love no other real growth apart from his powers... His circle, the supporting characters are barely in the story anymore and its really killing the story... Good story with a lot of potential but bad excution...

To be honest, Monster Paradise is one of the best novel in Webnovel. At first, you'll enjoy reading it. Being immersed on the story and stuff. However, lately, the updates are too slow. Everything is good about this nivel from the character development to the story. The update period is the main concern.

I read many good reviews about this novel and I should say I'm disappointed. MC is just a dumba*s righteous Fool, who doesn't care about the consequences of his impulses.

I just love this novel. When I read the other reviews I was actually disappointed that others said this novel is not good. To me this novel was not disappointing it's awesome. I love how the main character was weak and then he got stronger, he gradually get stronger and he makes friends along the way, his bond with him imperial monsters. Don't forget that he makes tons of enemy's. I'm waiting for this novel to update and I can't wait to read the next upcoming chapter. Thank you author for sticking to your book and kept on writing even though there were bad reviews. I'll support you guys. Fighting!!

As I've read this novel so much that I found the pre-edited machine translations online and read way far ahead I rather enjoy reading it, the main character is a sly sneaky badass who has his challenges, albeit with some losses or time where you think wtf, it incorporates humor and action which i find enjoyable to read.
