Third POV

William Anderson, a normal 17 years old teenager who wishes to have his own Army of Monster to order.

He doesn't know why but he always likes Monster, especially if there is a large number of them.

But he knows it was nothing but a dream.

He needs to face reality and prepare himself so he can get a good job in the future, support his family and raise his children so they can repeat what he has gone through.

Until one day he gets a message.

A message that changes his life.

After going home and finish his homework will quickly grab his phone and play Clash Royale.

(AN: BTW I still play Clash Royale, but recently I just sell my account and play from the start. Again.)

He was about to begin playing when suddenly he received a message from an unknown number.

The message sounds like this.

[Bored with your reality?

want to start a new one?

Reply Yes and get your wish come true]

"Sounds too good to be true..."

William says after he read the message.

Another message appears.

[Do you want to become a Monster War Lord?

A real one?]

William was surprised, but still, he can't fully believe these weird messages.

This can be a prank from a hacker or some sort.

[You got nothing to lose~]

"Okay, you know what? Find, I will play with You."

He replies to the message with [Yes].

Not long after that, a floating semi-transparent blue screen appears in front of him.

[Installing Monster Creator System]

[Stat successfully installed]

William rubs his eyes, unable to believe what he saw.

But the screen didn't disappear, it was still there.

Even if he is a big fan of Monster, William is a very realistic guy. Most of the time, so he was having a hard time believing about the existence of the System.

William takes a deep breath and pushes [Begin].

There was nothing in front of him, but when he touches the system screen he feels like his index finger touching a glass screen.

[Host will start at level 0 with all stat 0-I.]

[The stats are Strength, Endurance, Agility, and Intelligence.]

[Strength is Host physical power. Host doesn't need to be worried about destroying everything because Host is too strong because Host Strength will be lowered when Host doesn't need to use a lot of Strength.]

[Endurance is Host natural defense from physical attack and impact. Also the higher Host Endurance the faster Host regenerate.]

[Agility is Host speed and Dexterity, it also lower the chance for host to be affected everything counted as De-Buff]

[Intelligence, the higher Host Intelligence, the faster Host learn, also the faster Host energy like Stamina, Magical Energy, and any other Type energy Host may have in the future, it also helps Host energy co-exist.]

Seeing this William deadpan.

"Isn't this just a mix of Leveling System from Danmachi and I never run out of Mana?"

But the system doesn't react to him and continue.

[Next is Shop, Host can sell unwanted item and buy things like food, weapon and everything Host need by using Monster Coin (MC)]

[Lucky Wheel, if Host love gamble Host can try it by paying 1000 MC per role. Only "if"]

For short, this is a trap, a hell, a...

No need to talk about it further.

[Inventory, Host can keep anything object Host want except living creatures other than Plant and Host Monsters.]

[Mission, Host will be rewarded by finishing Mission. Host won't be forced to finish it, but system will tell Host the result from not finishing it.]

[Create, Host can create a core, a core can be used to create a Monster.]

[To create a core Host will need to use Stamina or Magical energy if available.]

[System will record every Monster Host have created, but Host still needs material to create them.]

[If the Monster dies, Host can revive the Monster as long as the core are saved, but it will need to use Stamina or Magical Energy.]

[There is 2 type of core, Blank core, and Elemental core. The host can create more Monster Variants by using Elemental core.]

[Host can only use Stamina or Magical energy to create a blank core, but Elemental core require Magical Energy or any suitable type of energy.]

[Host can defeat Monster until they can't fight back or tame them to turn them into a Summon, please throw or give a Blank core that has a drop of Host blood to make them a Summon.]

[A Summon will turn into a card.]

[A Summon doesn't need to use Magical energy to be revived, but it will take time to before they can be Summoned again.]

William can believe this system tries to imitate Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh's basic concept with a little bit of difference here and there.

"Let's just go on with this."

[Host can travel to another world by using a Travel Ticket. Host can receive one by using various ways.]

[Host receive 1000 MC]

[Host receive Basic Monsters Recipe]

[Host receive 1 Travel Tickets]

[Host receive Energy reduction 100% for 100 core]

William wants to travel to another world as soon as possible, but he knows he is not ready.

There is no way he can get used to killing just because he arive in another world.

Plus he still needs to try to create a monster.

William opens his Inventory and takes out Basic Monster Recipe.

1. Slime. Put a core in water, the bigger the volume of water, the harder the slime control its body. It will need a higher level of slime to have a bigger body.

2. Zombie, put a core on top of a corpse.

3. Skeleton. Put a core near the chest area of a bone of a creature. Or Host can remove the flesh from a zombie.

4. Golem. Put a core on a land, rock, or any material with a solid form to create a Golem.

Skeleton and Golem are the first 2 William wants to create, but he is not sure if he can create a Skeleton right now.

Where can he find a bone of a strong creature?

The Museum?

Good idea, but it will attract a lot of attention.

His best choice is Golem or Slime, but he would like to make a Golem first.

Of course, he won't add a kill switch or a weakness to it like in the legend.

This is Friday, which meant he can go out and have a lot of time to create a golem tomorrow.

With that mind in his head, William goes to sleep.

Today is Saturday, there is nothing for William to do today, so he usually just playing basketball with his friends at the court or playing games using his Smartphone.

But today is different.

William goes to an old and abandoned apartment that was said to be haunted.

If it was yesterday he will think there is no such thing as ghosts, but now he thinks there is the possibility that they are real.

His neglectful ignore him and continue with their own business.

"Hey system, do you have a scan function?"

[There is no function like that was installed.]

William takes a deep breath then sighed before entering the building.

All of its doors are sealed, but the back door was connected to an alley no one would use since the building is already being abandoned for a long time.

William creates his first core, it appears as a transparent glass ball, the size was equal to a Ping Pong ball.

For now he don't need to worry about energy, but after this he should try to build up his Stamina until he have any Magical energy inside his body.

"Okay, here goes nothing."

He throws it to the building.

When the core touches the wall, it is attached and begin gathering the wall material around it.

After that, a tall humanoid creature with a bulky body was formed.

[Wall Golem: A Golem with the ability to camouflage as a wall. With 5 of them, Host can order them to be a small house with one room.]

"This is awesome! It's not like this Golem was the strongest, but it was still awesome!"

Like a child found the toy he wants under the Christmas tree, William excitedly shout.

Soon he regrets it since he was supposed to be silent so no one found out about his monster existence.

William quickly creates more core and use the building as material for his Golem.

He manages to create 7 of them before he feels it is enough and he should leave the scene.

Of course, William tries to act calm and erase any possibility he looks suspicious.

If in the future there was an investigation about what happened to the building today, he will act stupid and make excuses.

He can run away to another world if he fails.

There is no 100% guarantee it will work, but it worth the shot.

William uses the Shop function and buys big plastic bags and rubber gloves.

What for?

Gather any dead animals he can find on the street, park, and any other place he can visit.

At 05:00 am he looks for a safe place where he can put the plastic bag in his inventory before going home.

"I am home."

"Will dinner is at the table, don't disturb your Father, he still has some work to do. Don't cause noise and remember to do study."

Like usual his Mother orders him to leave them alone and study.

They don't care what he does, but he needs to make sure his grade at school is good enough so he can go to a good college in the future.

It wasn't like they are bad parents, it just they almost feel like machines, programmed to raise and program him to be like them.

Sadly for them, he won't.

He wasn't an adventure nor he was a thrill-seeker, but their life is not meant for him.

William eats his dinner and waits for the time for the night to come and his parents go to sleep.

He goes to the kitchen, close the sink and fill it with water, lastly, he drops a core.

The water turns into a jelly-like blue blob.

William creates 25 of them until he was bored doing this repetitive action.

"They don't look like much, but Slime was supposed to be hard to kill. Like from Monster Musume. Their body is made of liquid, unless you hit their core, they won't die."

William wants to try to create zombies, but after thinking about it again he feels it was a bad idea.

"Maybe after I go to another world. For now, I should go to sleep."

[The next day]

Today was Sunday, this time Willliam was visiting a local Museum.

He was checking the Dinosaurs fossil.

As a fan of Ben 10, he still remembers the episode when Dr. Animo revive a T-Rex using one of his creation.

He can't revive them, but a moving Dinosaur fossil is still cool.

'I don't care if I need to stole them. Tonight, I will do it.'
