MIGUEL'S POV

    I look down at the woman asleep in the holographic imprisonment, her hair cascading around her body that was covered by the symbiote.

    "You can just speak to me you know" the deep voice spoke, sharp teeth smiled at me from her face.

    "I'd rather speak to a person than an alien that can't even say full sentences" I mumbled annoyed looking away from them.

    "Suit yourself pretty boy, doesn't look like she'll be waking up anytime soon."

    I turn to them before smirking and turning on loud sirens expecting Venom to faulter to only see the smile grow larger on her body.

    "Please, is this how your Venom's were taken out, wait is their name just like mine? Mch the ain't as handsome and strong as me though" it laughed loudly.

    It was strange to see a body seem so lifeless as someone else speaks for them, well something, I roll my eyes taking my attention back on the screens as it begins to whistle, I shake my head hoping it'll stop only for the sound to linger on for 46 minutes, I let out a gruff feeling my eyebrow tick.

    "Oh, am I bothering you?"

    I knew what it was doing, it was provoking me just like how I did it to them earlier at our first meeting, I guess it isn't as stupid as the others I took down, but it's still annoying just like the rest of them.

    "Like the photo of my girl on the news, pretty as ever" it commented "shit I wouldn't have thought there were many of you, when you brought us in here I won't lie seeing that amount of copy and paste did feel... intimidating" it chuckled "but nothing I can't handle, you know since I'm that symbiote."

    I stay quiet.

    "You don't talk a lot huh? Meh I'm used to it. Want to know how it was with the beginning with- wait what did you call us again la lloro-llooroni, no it was la, la, oh yeah la Llorona- pretty cool we're that roaming spirit" I freeze at the comment my hands stopping from typing a random code.

    "That's how quote on quote la Llorona was, she took me out of that little cage I was in, took me all to herself without even asking me first- ugh the audacity now that I think about it, but I assumed she wouldn't have been able to handle me so I was expecting her to just die like the others" I heard its smile as I keep my eyes forward not looking at it "but of course as you can see she actually took me very well, anyways back to what I was say, she didn't even speak to me for a week, so of course I went through her brain and... yeah that's it" it diverted the ending. "So, seeing how quiet you are now just reminding me of her and to be frank it's annoying the fuck out of me, because I'm bored in here" it complained.

    "Then wake her up" I grumbled annoyed.

    "You think I want her to be knocked out?" it mumbled "she doesn't need to remember such horrible things" it whispered as I glance towards them seeing Venom's sharp teeth vanish.

    And that's how an hour passed, for some reason it no longer spoke it was now quiet, only the air blowing from the vents and the noise from my screens as I type more information in, but I knew it was still there, watching me, but I didn't pay it no mind as I continued doing more research to find Venom's dimension.

    "Lyla call in Kess, you know how good she is with opening up portals, she can come pick up the particles we found a week ago and see if she can find any remains of the dimension this villain is in" I mumbled as Lyla shows up in front of me with a firm expression "please."

    "Sure, she's on her way."

    "You know she's not a villain" it's voice rung out behind me as I stand up from my chair finally turning my attention towards the goo substance.

    "You eat people, seems pretty terrible enough to be labeled as such" I lean my head slightly as I notice the body in a different position than before, her covered face was no longer in my direction instead it was replaced by her long black hair.

    "Whatever you say dipshit" Venom grumbled underneath it's breath as I raise an eyebrow.

    My doors open and once again I turn my direction to the front as the hologram of Spider-Byte walks in glancing towards Venoms body, pointing to it as she heads my way "that's why I called you" I mumbled rubbing my temples with my right hand as the other hands over the particles I needed for her to search up "find whatever you can on this, I'm trying to find out more about their world, I mean if they have one anymore" I sighed as she nods staying quiet before walking out once again.

    "Guess a kid has to show you your job huh?"

    "That kid has more brain cells than something like you" I grumbled under my breath.

    "Did I get under your skin now?" Venom spoke before laughing.

    "I don't appreciate you speaking, actually scratch that, I don't like you looking at one of my associates."

    "You think I'll eat her? Well from what I saw she isn't even here, maybe I'll take a bite of that man from earlier, you know the black and white mofo."

    "He was a regular civilian" I lied.

    "When did that ever stop me?" before I knew it I felt my body walk over to the body as it laid still when the head turned to me smiling widely "as much as you wish that I am just some stupid alien, my best quality is to annoy anyone, and to see the obvious, occasionally."

    "A creature like you deserves to be destroyed just like the rest, including that little host you're stringing along" I glared at it as the sharp teeth disappeared again seeming like I caught a nerve.

    "I will eat every little one of you bugs once I get the chance" it spoke "and I'll leave you last, just because I wouldn't eat something so repulsive."

    I scoff smirking at his comment "I'm repulsive?"

    "Completely."

    "Says the one that eats children" I mumbled.

    "As much as you're trying to convince yourself that I eat the halflings, I don't, you know they don't have as much meat as the adults and still one human doesn't do the job."

    I know what it was doing, it was playing me into this little game to converse with it again "I tell you my favorite part? You know of eating one of you." I stay quiet ignoring it again "the bones, the crunch of them" it laughed "or when I pull apart a body and I drink their blood like they are some type of wine bottle... oh wait no I also like popping off your heads into my mouth and using their finger as a toothpick" I wince at the thought as I think of the girl laying only a few feet away from me being able to do such horrible things.   

    "You disgust me" I whispered.

    "Join the line, I have no remorse for what I do, you know my people" It turned around no longer paying me attention "that's how we lived in our world, and from being on this one for a while it's the exact same thing."

    "We don't eat our own people."

    "Of course you do, step on one another to climb whatever ladder you're climbing, at least I don't have any shame admitting it, however you humans are idiots, and disgusting in many other ways, but easy to manipulate and take over."

    "Us? Disgusting?"

    "Very. And before you use the whole 'you eat people and your own' bullshit... I know that and I admit it, I'm selfish, I admit it, I don't want to die or be killed so I will become stronger no matter how 'horrible' I have to be. However, you all never admit your wrongs, you people will push a child on the ground just so you won't be eaten by something like me and let's not even get started with the horrendous ones, you know the ones that desire the children. So tell me, knock off, am I really so disgusting compared to the human race?"

    I walk away from it.

    "I'm not going to engage into this conversation anymore."

    And as time passed, I suddenly heard a gasp from behind me.

    "Of course, I'm awake, where are we?" a soft voice rung out as I turn around quickly, my mask covering my appearance, seeing the one asleep goo was now looking around her as I jump down from my platform into her direction, her large white eyes widened lightly "great..." Venom disguised her voice.

    I cross my arms above my chest as she stands up from the ground tilting her head towards me her long hair catching my gaze as I focus back into the eyes of Venoms when she bangs on the holographic box she was in, hearing a small scoff leave her as realizes her situation "it won't break" I mumbled.

    "Thanks" she fake laughed.

    "So, how'd you get here?"

    "I would've left if I knew, no?" she answered.

    "Name?"

    "Your mom" I glare at her.

    "I can get this information easily; I'm giving you a chance after the shit you pulled that day" I growled annoyed.

    "Oh? Can you really because from what I can tell es que ni tienes meirda" she turns her back towards me as I march towards the other side laying my hands on hologram as it holds me up, looking at the monster in front of me as she's looking at the ground, it went quiet as I see her gears turning in her head as I just watch. Her body was covered by the symbiote, the arms and feet were red due to carnage, small veins pulsing around her body, her sharp nails dark red like they were permanently soaked in blood, those same nails she sliced my chest the first night we met. Venoms breath was normal, no sign of emotions as she slowly raises her covered face as the long teeth smile up at me as she leans forward watching me slowly their hot breath causing a foggy display of the invisible wall cutting them off from attacking me.

    "Either you work with my questions" I warned "or I'll put you down myself again and force them out of you" I glare down at her as it laughs lightly.

    "I thought Spider-Men were all about to being good."

    "I'm not like the rest of them" I mumbled as her smile fades.

    "Yeah nothing like the hero I've seen."

    "Yeah nothing like me, because they couldn't get the job done with you" I snarled as their eyes falter lightly at my comment "I bet your Spider-men felt pity for something like you, felt like they can fix you, help you, well I'm not them, I don't want to help you, or take that thing out of you because the damage is done, you are no longer human after everything" I picked at the insult more. "You're exactly like that symbiote in you, a monster."

    She lets out a nervous huff letting a sliver of emotion show, she turns her back towards me once again as I take a step back from them "figure out how you want to go about this you have a few minutes to decide, I don't have time for something like you."

    "Then why not keep me locked up, another monster to your collection?"

    I walk towards my screens "I need your dimension under investigation, I don't understand how you guys have stayed hidden under my supervision for the past 2 years" I mumbled my eyes squinting at her as she watches me tap on my screen as I began playing a random video of a spiderman in the society.

    "Lyla any update on Kess?" I asked as Lyla shows up filing her nails.

    "Nope she said she found something and will be here after a while- oh she's awake" Lyla disappears as I see from the corner of my eye Lyla showing up in front of Venom "You can uncover yourself you know."

    "No thanks small lady" Venom glances at her before turning away looking back at me as roll my eyes annoyed.

    "Suit yourself" Lyla then leaves.

    "You guys are pretty advanced" they spoke "holograms that can be used as capturing mechanisms, and a little mini person."

    "that's what the year 2099 brings" I mumbled.

    "Miguel! I told you I had the day off today why didn't you call me for backup" I heard yelling as I turn around seeing Peter walking towards me eating an apple "oh you caught Venom" his eyes meet the box getting closer "they have carnage?"

    Venom then smiles pridefully "thank you for noticing."

    "Hey carnage is tuff props for that dude" Peter gave venom a thumbs up as I turn away from them annoyed.

    I wasn't as leaned back like everyone else, I saw firsthand of this monsters destruction, in other dimensions as well, I can't look or talk to them like they were just a random person on the street. Peter was different, he was like the rest of the Spider-Men that believed half of the villains were not given a chance at life, that they were led to the wrong path and deserve a second chance to fix on themselves to be better civilians. Me, however, I see the terror they caused and can't help but think they deserve the worst, because no matter what... they still did what they did with no falter, harmed innocent people, killed... so yeah no I won't just forget what they did. Especially with Venom.

    "They see you as food Peter don't forget that" I mumbled as he walked closer to me.

    "Venom does, not the host" he 'corrected' me.

    "Don't start with me Parker" I sigh as another lead is a dead end, I slam my fist on the desk as Peter flinches lightly "they aren't cooperating I might have to use force to get some information of them, maybe a name can lead us to another dimension that has the same person and build on from there, but she's stubborn."

    "I heard Kess got a memory that was caught in the portal while I was walking over here, she's still fixing it up."

    "And what if it's another dead end?"

    "We'll figure it out don't stress, why are you covering your face either way aren't you stuffy?" Peter raised his eyebrow.

    "I will stress, you were there the day it happened, I won't let it happen to anyone else, and that thing over there doesn't know how dire this entire situation is, they won't tell me anything" I grumbled annoyed.

    "Have you asked nicely?"

    I look at him annoyed "why would I ask it nicely? Please Peter you're not helping."

    "I mean no offense Miguel, but you are pretty off putting, not that it's bad" he laughed nervously "but some people are more agreeing if you come at them with a good attitude."

    "Well, it's not a person" I huff turning away from him.

    "But they were, I mean I'm technically not a person I have Spider DNA running through my body."

    "The difference between you and that monster is you haven't eaten your own" I mumbled as he stays quiet before sighing.

    "Let me try" Peter's footstep slowly walk towards the creature as I glance towards them seeing him lower himself in front of it "look I know my friend over there seems- you know a little hardcore, but he's just concerned for you" he lied as I scoff "your dimension too, seeing how you came here we are assuming-."

    "I didn't come here on purpose; you'd think I knew about this-."

    "Of course, you wouldn't have known about such a thing of different dimensions" I mumbled turning my body towards them as Venoms eyes squint towards me.

    "Hey-," Peter turns to me shaking his head before returning his attention to the prisoner "look you don't understand how dangerous this means for your world, for you, we know all spider-men worlds, but we are having a bit of problems with yours-."

    "You know I'm not a kid, nor an idiot, I worked under Osborn at Oscorp and the life foundation, I heard of portals opening but left the job due to Osborn being corrupted... my friend-," Venom paused clenching their fist "he, he works there and spoke of it multiple times, I knew to an extent of this whole thing but didn't think it was possible, but he did..."

    Peter turns to me having a proud smile showing how he got it to talk about their world "great now that you are speaking can you explain what happened the day you got here, I mean how exactly did it happen?"

    I stare at them as Venom lowers herself down to Peter glancing at me before baring her teeth "depends, what will happen to me?"

    "If we find your world, we will just deliver you back to your spiderman- unless uhm from what my buddy here was thinking... you no longer have one?"

    "Oh, we have one alright" this time instead of the disguised voice it was Venom as Peter jumps lightly at the deep voice.

    "Great so we can have a conversation with him to give you a heads up or whatever" Peter was never a good liar but watching him interact with the monster his words came out genuine.

    "They're lying" Venom spoke "don't believe them."

    Peter sighs "look-," but before he can finish Venom slams on the wall.

    "Spider-Man is a liar, no matter what dimension!"

    "I told you this wasn't going to lead us anywhere, we should just get it out of them, I am no longer wasting time on this thing" I mumbled annoyed as I walk to my platform pressing a button causing Venom to be electrocuted again as they let out a loud yelp.

    "Miguel we were going somewhere with this, we don't have to resource to this!" Peter walked my way trying to persuade me.

    "Get this through your mind Parker" as I grab his head turning it towards venom "that thing is no human, it is not like us, it was before but not anymore" I raise my voice lightly "right now they are our only way to find this dimension and I will get out any information out of them, and you can't stop me" I let go of his face as he stumbles lightly.

    "I will fucking kill you!" Venom yelled in pain.

    "If you can ever get out" I mumbled as I walk away from them "bring Kess Peter it doesn't matter if she hasn't finished I'll see this memory the way it is" I growled as Peter looks behind me with a composed expression.

    "If there is nothing useful I'll proceed with my way" I mumbled.

    Venom yelps as the voltage becomes stronger.

    "You should've just answered."

    I turn around to see venom leaning on the wall as I scowl underneath my mask seeing that deathly smile on them again "too stubborn" my body tenses as the voice rung around me, it wasn't Venoms nor that disguise, it was a soft but dominant sound as my eyes squint towards them as their body lays on the ground still shaking from the shock as they try to subside the pain.
