100,000 Years after My Death

Life is a precious yet fleeting thing. In all the universe, and in the vastness of time, you are granted life on a small blue planet. That in comparison to the Greater universe… is infinitely insignificant in size and importance. You as a person, a human being, even more so. Yet, in spite of that fact, your life and the rest of life on Earth is perhaps the only miraculous thing to happen in the universe.

Perhaps…

Death is also perhaps another miracle to occur, at least as much as a person can consider such a thing as a miracle. Without Life, there cannot be Death. A miracle begetting another miracle. So is Life itself not a long series of Miracles, and Death being the Final Miracle to be achieved. That is what I thought.

I was wrong.

Yet another Miracle occurs before me. Or rather to me. There is such a thing as a soul, there is such a thing as an afterlife. What lies before me is yet another chance to live again. The Company had taken notice on me, and offered me the opportunity to create my own Build and Contract as a Client.

I was given the opportunity to live a fantasy life after I had died. The reason they had picked myself did not matter to me. The goals The Company had and the infinite multi-universal slavery they did inspite of their omnipotence, did not matter. I was given a miracle, why would I not grasp it with the fullness of myself.

Life is Precious after all, and My Life… is something I truly care for.

So I agreed. So I made the beginning of my new life. There was a chance that I may condemn clones of people to slavery to fulfill the fantasies of other people… but I will live once more.

My Death occurred at the age of 26. I had done everything right in my life. I listened to my parents, I did well in school, I played in sports, I avoided drugs and alcohol, I went to college, and I got a job that would take care of me for the rest of my life. I truly did everything that was expected of me. So to die after doing everything right in my life.

I WANTED TO LIVE!

I WANTED MY HAPPINESS!

I WILL DO ANYTHING TO LIVE AGAIN!

So… if I have to live a life as a Multi-Universal Slaver. So be it. I just want to be happy. So I signed my soul away and choose the World of RWBY to go into. I Substituted into the Body of Sun Wukong.

Substitute essentially being reincarnation. However one of my choices when filling out the app for my new Life, I choose 100,000 years of Cultivation. The plan being to achieve Tier 10 before going into the world of RWBY. 100,000 years was an incredibly long time, and I overestimated my patience. Too content with the Stress Defence Immunity The Company gave.

Once the build was complete, I would not be able to leave as I had taken Power Trip which made me a Client and not an Employee. So I could not take missions. I could only gain points through Captures, and can only go to new worlds through the appropriate abilities The Company provides. I was still a Contractor, but put under as a Client.

The provided Apartment space had all the amenities and training room I could reasonably need. I had food, drink, Entertainment, and new powers to train and play with. I had Templated Sun Wukong from the Story Journey to the West, as well as Son Goku and Jin Mori, from Dragonball and God of Highschool respectively. I had Talents to accelerate the training as well.

100,000 years was a long time, and I quickly rose in power in the first years. I also got bored with the monotony of it all. The lack of social life was a mind killer for my poor new Monkey Brain. No where to go, no one to talk to, and while the training provides stimulation… it got boring fast.

I watched TV but the only things I could watch was from the World of RWBY. A place that doesn't have much in the way of culture, at least in comparison to my original world. A consequence of living on a world with hordes of creatures that want to destroy you and all you've built. Not to mention the Great War that occurred before canon time. The people of Remnant were still experimenting and it was obvious from their entertainment. It was truly amateurish but it had its appeal here and there born from either pure passion for their work, or a Genius dipping his toes and finding surprising success. They were rare but still there.

My Training was going slow in comparison to what any of my Template characters experienced but that was a result of no Opposition to fuel my growth. My Growth was like that of a Redwood tree. Fast and yet painfully slow. I had found a groove during the first 50 years that allowed me to reach Tier 10 just like I wanted to.

To truly reach their full power I had trained for almost a 100 years. Achieving Nirvana, and transcending my own existence as a mortal. Ironically, Son Goku and naturally RWBY Sun Wukong were the weakest and were fully achieved in power by age 70. Jin Mori and Legend Sun Wukong gave me so much more than either of the Former could dream of.

The Immortality of Sun Wukong and Jin Mori had made me truly untouchable to any but the most Transcedent beings. Which is why it was such a surprise that I was still stuck in my Pocket Apartment despite my great power. I had the power to bend reality, Create and Destroy entire Universes of my own design. Create Life and an Afterlife for that life. Space and Time was mine to command… or should have been. The Company is a truly terrifying existence.

I remain after achieving the full potential of my Templates. Only a hundred years had passed. The rest of the 100,000 years were spent playing with my creations in an Apartment I can only lament as my Prison. Only the Enlightenment I had achieved was the reason I was not resentful. Suffering has always been a constant with Life. So I spent the rest of the time Meditating and waiting out the rest of my time in this place.

After all, Ephemeral Life, Eternal Life, you shall be Broken upon the Wheel of Samsara all the Same. Only as a Buddha have I transcended this Pain I feel. My power may be Nigh Omnipotent, it is not Omnipotence in truth. Tier 10 I may be now, but the realm of the Imaginary Tiers still are far from my reach.

My Story has yet to truly begin, even now 100,000 years after my Death. Perhaps that is the greatest Miracle I had achieved if only for the strangeness of it all.
