The Zero Division is here!
Yami woke up in a hospital bed. He sat up and looked around before touching his neck and panicking. He looked around frantically and got out of bed, searching for his sword and scarf. He ran outside and was clotheslined by Zaraki, who said "Where are you going, brat!?" Yami said 'My sword! My scarf! Where the fuck are they!?"
Zaraki dug his ear and said "Relax. Yachiru has them." Yami calmed down and sat on the ground, letting out a breath of relief. Mayuri walked over and said "Good, you're awake. I took your blood, know get out of here." Yami said "You're the clown?" Mayuri shouted "I'M NOT A CLOWN! YOU'RE USELESS TO ME, UNDERSTAND?! GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!"
Yami got up and said "What are you doing with my blood, clown man." Mayuri grabbed his sword and muttered something, Zaraki said "Shut it, clown." Mayuri glared at him and walked into the building, saying "Obviously for experiments. What a fool."
Yami didn't care what he was doing with his blood, he just wanted to know. Now that he had answer, the clown was of no consequence to him anymore. He left with Zaraki, going to Yachiru, taking his backpack on the way out.
He suddenly said "My dad?" Zaraki cracked his neck and said "That's the least of your worries, kid. Your mom is here..." he shivered a bit and added "And she is not happy." Yami shivered and walked to the commotion with Zaraki.
Hiro was trying to calm Zerotwo down as she raged on the Shinigami, about Yami getting injured "You bunch of useless garbage can't even protect your own fucking realm and call my son to help?! What the fuck were you doing while he was fighting for his life!?" the Shinigami were getting a headache.
Shunsui said "Ma'am please, some of our Captains can't breathe. He's fine, we faced a tough enemy, if your son didn't get here in time with Ichigo Kurosaki many more would be dead." Zerotwo was fuming and Yami said "Mom... Please stop, you're embarrassing me."
Hiro turned around and said "Hey, kid! Heard you saved the Shingami! Good job!" Zerotwo kicked him through the building and shouted "GOOD JOB!? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING?!" she walked to Yami and looked at his body, checking his wounds as she said "You are making me very angry, young man."
Yami trembled and the rest trembled too.
She grabbed his ear and said "What do you think you're doing, saving people and realms?! Hmmm? Not only did you get hurt, but you missed school!" Yami started to sweat, he missed school? That wasn't a top priority for him right now. Zerotwo looked at Yami and said "Hm? What do you have to say for yourself?"
Yami took a deep breath before saying "I came to save my friends. I will save them again, you can't stop me." the Shinigami all sucked in a cold breath of air, Shusui muttered "He's got guts." Hirako said "He's dead for sure." Jushiro shook his head and added "He has a strong will... Unfortunately..."
Zerotwo trembled in anger and red Reiatsu seeped out of her body. Hiro appeared in front of her and grabbed her hand with a smile saying "Angel, that's enough." Zerotwo looked at him and his eyes were hard.
He looked at her and said again "That's enough." his voice was rougher this time and he looked at her, she blushed a little and nodded meekly, saying "Okay, Darling." Hiro did a 180 and smiled happily, saying "He did a good job and he's not dead is he? It's okay, everything is fine. Just calm down." he stroked her cheek with his thumb and she smiled softly leaning into his palm, nodding.
Hiro brought her to the side and held her hand, squeezing tight with a smile and his eyes squeezed into slits. Zerotwo smiled and leaned on his shoulder, she could tell. Hiro was extremely angry. Much, much, more angry than her.
He said "Yami, you can handle yourself, yeah?" Yami nodded and didn't say a word. He knew that face. He didn't like that face. That was the face of death. Yami suddenly bowed to Hiro and said "I want to take care of it myself!"
Hiro frowned and waved, time itself stopped and left a bubble with just Hiro, Yami, and Zerotwo. Hiro said "What did you say?" Yami started to sweat as Hiro put his pressure on him, he said with a straight face "I want to do it myself! If I rely on you to do everything for me and save me from every situation, I'll just end up death somewhere without you! I want to become stronger on my own! I don't want you to help me anymore!"
Hiro looked at Yami and Zerotwo held Hiro's arm, looking at Yami with a worried face. Yami stayed silent and Hiro looked at him, neither of them spoke and Zerotwo said softly "Darling..." Hiro looked at Yami with narrowed eyes and said "Look at me and say that again."
Yami straightened out and Hiro released all his power, he transformed into the Great Oni Form and let everything out. Yami couldn't breathe at all, Hiro seemed to be towering over him like a mountain, his power was so strong that Yami was coughing up blood just standing near him.
The world started to shake and tear around Hiro, Yami looked at him and clenched his fists, shouting "I WANT TO DO IT MYSELF! I WANT TO BECOME STRONG LIKE YOU, MYSELF! I DON'T WANT YOU TO HOLD MY HAND ANYMORE! I WANT TO MAKE YOU PROUD OF ME!" Zerotwo covered her mouth and gasped, while Hiro froze.
Yami trembled and looked at Hiro with a serious face, blood seeped from his lips and he stood there, looking up at Hiro's eyes, refusing to back down. Hiro looked at his eyes and fell into a daze 'Proud?' he knew that feeling.
How long has it been since he was the same as Yami... He reverted to normal and everything went back to normal, Hiro looked to be in a daze, confusing Yami. Zerotwo looked at Hiro sadly and held him before looking at Yami and saying "Go." Yami was stunned and said "But Dad i-" Zerotwo smiled softly and said "He's fine. I'm giving you permission, honey. Go." before disappearing with Hiro.
Yami blinked and coughed out blood into his hand before drinking a healing potion and looking at the Shinigami, saying "What happened?" Shunsui looked at Yami and said "I don't know, kid. You tell me." Yami waved saying "Family stuff. What were you doing originally?" Shunsui said "Doesn't matter now. The Zero Division is coming here. Get ready."
Yami said "Where's Yachiru." Shunsui pointed to a room and Yami walked away. He came into a room with Yachiru humming to herself, stitching a new scarf. Yami walked in and said "Ruru..." She dropped the scarf and said "Yami..." before tearing up and lunging at him, crying "You're alive!"
Yami smiled softly and stroked her hair, saying "En." she cried tears of joy and Yami held her. She sniffled after a while and touched his bandages, asking softly "Does it hurt?" Yami shook his head and looked at her, asking "Are you okay?" she nodded gently and looked up at him, he stroked her cheek with his thumb and kissed her.
She closed her eyes and smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck. Yami separated his lips from hers and said "You grew again." she smiled and said "I'm older than I look you know. Since your dad gave me the human body and did all those things, I can speed up my aging to match yours. I'm 14 now body age wise." Yami chuckled "Real age?" Yachiru pouted "We age slower in the Soul Society! I was around 6 in human years when we met!"
Yami hummed and smirked, she pouted and said "Fine! I'm ignoring you! Hmph!" Yami chuckled and said "Alright, Alright!" she smiled and got out of his grasp, handing him the finished Scarf saying "I made you a new one!" Yami said "Where's the original one?" Yachiru pulled out the other scarf.
Yami took both, put the new one on and held the old one, saying "Thank you, Ruru." she smiled and said "Of course!" he smiled and picked up his swords, still in his Shinigami form. He said "Wanna come see the Zero Division with me?" she smiled and nodded, taking his hand.
The duo walked outside to the other captains and Ichigo, they stood next to Ichigo as a giant pillar fell from the sky. Ichigo said "That's it?" Shunsui said "There's only 5 people in the Zero Division, they're all Captains and their total power... surpasses the entire 13 other Divisions together."
5 people walked out of the Pillar and someone announced "The Zero Division is here!"
